I get charged 1k flat when I withdraw with my GTB card at any time of the year. Even when I try to credit my Santander account by sending money to a friend in the UK, the withdrawal charge is still 1k flat. Even last week. You can read this thread to see other people's GTB Mastercard 1k charge. It's a normal thing https://www.nairaland.com/1211270/withdraw-money-gtb-mastercard-usYou were just lucky favour0011: I was in uk in may. Was charged 420 naira for every atm withdrawal using my gtb mastercard. |

Your own biometric and medical limit is specific to you. Some people have 14 days, some 28 days, others 30 days. It depends on what your biometrics letter says. mirenda: When you submit your application and you are called for biometrics, within how many days must the biometric be done? |

@badtsharpguy Diamond Bank Naira Visa Debit for Intl transactions: ATM withdrawal charge: N240 POS and online: Free Annual service fee: N100 POS Cash Advance: N750 ATM Daily Limit: $300 POS Daily Limit: $10,000 (20 times) Web Daily Limit: $5,000 (5 times) Annual Spend Limit: $50,000 (@Chars1289, I believe the location has some effect on the commission because atm withdrawal for GT in Canada is about N450 while it's N1,000 in the UK Chars1289: Exchange rate + commission is not location base rather it depends on your bank in Nig cos diff banks hve diff exchange rate wen atm cards are used outside Nig.
For Stanbic IBTC here are the charges ATM withdrawal charges........N240 POS charges.................Free Online Transactions.....Free
Limits ATM........N150, 000(or its equivalent in the currency you are transacting in) POS.........N1, 000, 000 Online Transactions....N500, 000 Annual Limit...... $150, 000 for international transactions.

If the company isn't his, then he cannot write a sponsorship letter on his company letter head because the letter head means that the letter is from from the company which is not because it is not his company. In your case, the only document that should be letterheaded is one that is from the company as an entity to use to introduce your uncle as a staff of the company. So that one should be on letterheaded paper. I hope it's clear. These are important details favour0011: My dear... I've always known it's a wrong tin to do... but I usually see on here that people write sponsors letter on their letter head... just didn't occur to me that it must hv been written on the sponsors personal company letterhead. My bad! quote author=tnuola post=36511084]
Lol.. Like seriously you shouldn't even ask this kinda question o, your sponsor is too correct. He doesn't own the company and you want him to write the sponsorship or personal letter on the letter head of a company he doesn't own? Biko type suntin on a plain sheet of paper.
You might not know but its more like fraud. |

I use N170 for all my calculations badtsharpguy: Thank you @TheBae.
Sorry for my plenty questions, but how much is the exchange rate from the Canadian Dollar to the Naira via the ATM through Diamond Bank.
That information is vital in drafting a detailed financial plan. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 9:34pm On Aug 01, 2015 |
No I don't but Diamond commission is about N250 But they both have about the best exchange rates right now, especially Stanbic. badtsharpguy: Thanks, please do you have an idea of how much the exchange rate plus commission is via the ATM in Calgary with the above mentioned banks?? |

Dear NLders, you cannot commit crime or overstay in the US and expect to get a Canadian visa, even if you get a brand new passport. It won't happen unless you address the issue. There's no way they won't share information. Forget about what they tell you. I even read somewhere at IOM that personal info won't be released but other countries can access your medical result if need be cos it's on a database. I'll like to think that you're well-travelled so you should know that these countries will do every and anything possible to control the kind of people that get into their country. The Globe and Mail is a credible source so the link Soj posted is sufficient to let this thing die until you come up with a more authentic one that proves otherwise. Don't believe everything the government tells you, they ain't loyal to you or even their citizens. They are loyal to themselves alone. Even if they write that they won't share personal info from your application form, best believe the will, to confirm that you're not fraudulent or dangerous. Remember Nigeria is a terrorist country **Edit** @gravition2 I see that you have accepted the fact. It's okay to be wrong and accept that you are which you finally did. Your first posts on this issue were just ridiculous, I respect how confident you still were and how adamantly you stood by your belief and how "gba je n sinmi-ly" you accepted that you were wrong.. Cheers Graviton2: Googled the said law "signed" without much fanfare. No authentic or verifiable result.

Well, I'm rare so.. hayqinsbFX: you wont hear from them in form of mail, thats normal. but when you track itll show dispatched....but if yours didnt show dispatched on the 22nd or 23rd then its a rare case. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 2:56pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
It's Vfs tracking not CIC, I don't think Vfs will know exactly when the visa is approved until CIC sends it or something. Didn't hear a word from vfs (tracking) throughout until they got my passport 5 days after. I don't know sha but that was how mine went. hayqinsbFX: by normal trend your tracking status should have changed on the 22nd when the approval mail came in.. then the email you got from vfs and cic is just a mail saying your passport is ready for collection. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 2:54pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
I really cannot remember but right now it's showing "your passport has been collected from the Canada Visa Application Centre" Thomby2k12: Ok. Thanks.
But after you got the ready-for-pick up mail from vfs, what did your passport status change to when you tracked your application? |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 2:48pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
Approval mail with POE letter on the 22nd Dispatch mail from both CIC and Vfs on the 27th. hayqinsbFX: wat date was on your approval mail and what date did you recieve the emsage from vfs |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 2:38pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
Whattttttt? Not you too! This is so hard to believe! I can't just believe it. These people are so messed up! I can't begin to imagine how painful this feels. I'm so sorry Crich: Hello guys. Glory to God. I was delayed yesterday based on four reasons: Insufficient funds, travel history, personal asset, and family ties in Canada n Nigeria.
Truth be told, this CIC style of processing applications for months is the worst ever. They need to review it. Na their mate be USCIS.
So, after rejoicing with you guys and my family for 1 weeks, I received a shocker. Lol! I'm still trying to recuperate. This is a very bad feeling. All guys expecting TRV, my candid advise, to avoid hypertension, kindly prepare for the worst. If you have been called for medical, pls, know that that DOESN'T guarantee a TRV. This is my story.
Chai! So, you guys will be consoling me now. Hahahahahahahahaha! |

What response did you get? |
