I remember my time at Irele, the town next to Okitipupa.

The day I found out that a 6 year old boy has never heard up Nepa! In his life, was the day I knew that there are levels to this suffering in Nigeria.

A man was dating three women and wanted to decide who to marry.
He then gave them a test. He gave each woman $10,000 and observed what each did with the money.
The first one did a total make-over which included a fancy hair style, make up and several new outfits. She then dressed up for the man and said, "I have done this to make myself more attractive to you because I love you so much." The man was impressed.

The second woman went and bought gifts for the man. She bought him a new smartphone, a Rolex watch and very flashy clothes. As she presented these gifts to him she said, "I've spent all the money on you because I love you so much." The man was again impressed.

The third one invested the money in the stock market. She earned $40,000 and gave him back his $10,000. She then deposited the remainder in a joint account. She told him that she wanted to secure their future because she loved him so much. Obviously the man was very impressed.

The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money.
In the end he married the one with the biggest breast .

In this country nobody gives a damn about you. If you were dying and you got just #500 in your hand to survive for that day, a scammer would gladly collect that money from you with no mercy. It's a matter of survival of the fittest. A billionaire would collect your only #1 to make himself richer.

100 percent true. It's why we deserve everything we're passing through as a nation.

Sometimes I marvel at how deeply evil an average Nigerian's mind is.

After the inauguration, he'll probably release funds and then go to sleep. Those in charge will turn around and sell them to anyone who can afford them.

The same thing has been happening in the south for a long time, and you wonder why the north accounts for more than 70% of what we eat.

Wednesday is 28, and Thursday is 29th.

Sale of animals feeds such as fish feeds, chicken Feeds, dog feeds e.t.c as a distributor depot

Nice business although riddled with lots of challenges recently.

High material cost has recently forced most small holder poultry and fish farmers to quit because the profit is no longer worth their time and effort.

Feed your eyes with the difference between an invoice from last year and an invoice issued yesterday.

The price difference is very high and there's scarcity of the materials. Even the feed Mills are struggling a bit because fuel cost has risen but we still mill at #3 naira per Kg.

On our farms we can't afford to increase the price of eggs to match the cost of production otherwise we'll have to eat our eggs by ourselves.

Most big customers patronising our feedmills have sold off their birds and quit for the mean time.

It's a real challenge running the biz now.

Even the last broilers we raised were supposed to be sold at 8 weeks but we held some until 12 weeks due to low patronage and unfavorable prices. Imagine them pricing a 4kg broiler at the same price of 2kg broiler despite the higher feed cost situation.

We are just hoping that the economic landscape will tilt and be favorable soon enough.

My advice to OP will be to continue doing what made you the money in the first place, or keep the money in a fixed account for now and go and learn from a owner of a lucrative business that you have interest in.

You'll see their challenges first hand, you meet their contacts, you'll learn how they tackle challenges. You mind will also be racing bringing up different strategies to combat the problems.

lol. ok but there are stronger ones for 200k. but used.

I've been reading all the nonsense you wrote about the bike delivery business.

You advise the OP to buy ladies bike for delivery.

Is he not going to pay for bike papers? They cost between 35k - 50k each.

By the way, which local government will give issue you papers for those toy bikes.

The minimum engine capacity for dispatch business is 200cc. Those bikes are hardly 100cc. They'll pose a high risk of accident on 3rd mainland bridge.

Also, dispatch business is not a bed of roses. Your riders have to put up with a lot of traffic in the city... It seems you've not seen traffic wey tie wrapper. Okada self dey choke.

Agbero wahala nko? Don't be surprised when your bikers are settling Agbero Everytime they go to deliver on the mainland. Areas like Mushin and Oyingbo will be your worst nightmare. They'll waste your boys time and still collect money from them, no matter how complete their papers are.

Police self dey do their own on the island sometimes.

All your rantings show that you are not a business person at all. Anyone who completely takes advise on the internet must do so with a pinch of salt.

Career / Re: Daily Pay Vs Monthly Salary: Which Is Better? by TheFalcons: 2:30pm On May 15, 2021
Theres what we call "time value of money".

It simply means that 1 naira today is worth more than the same 1 naira tomorrow.

Monthly salary is good for the Boss, because he can plough the employees salaries back into the business and get some ROI before they get paid.

Daily wages is good for the employee, because he can put his money to use as soon as he make it, imagine him lending a friend a week's salary at 10% interest.

It means he'll be going home with a little more than his salary at the end of the month.

If he repeats this steadily, he can easily compound the profits and free himself from the shackles of servitude.
Well, this still depends on whether the employee has a pint of common Sense.

0My 9 years old nephew stays with my ageing mum. I've been noticing some distasteful characters that he's been exhibiting recently. But I didn't really read much meaning to them

Not until I went to my home town for a few weeks, and I caught him at the balcony downloading porn with my Mum's phone.

It all now started to make sense to me, because my Mum complains that her weekly data doesn't even last a day, and she hardly ever uses any app.

Going through the browser history I found search keywords like;

>Ashley Aleigh pus*y pictures
>Kapri pussy pictures
>Only Kapri pus*y

I was horrified and amused at the same time. I almost burst out laughing. I gave him a stern warning and asked him to return the phone.

A week later, what happens?
Mum goes to market and buys him a smartphone, claiming that he doesn't let her phone rest, then she pleaded for me to give him one of my old SIM cards because buying a new sim card is expensive now.

Just last month one of our tenants in his age range called me with his father's phone, and reported that my Nephew wants to learn Yaho*

A 9 year old o!!!
