raumdeuter: Lol. How can? How do you mean? There are many minors who are stronger than adults. Go to a typical SS2 to SS3 class. The boys there will beat many adults
Mike Tyson at 17 will beat 90% of people in the world
When i was teaching in my NYSC many of those students will beat up many of the teachers and they do it regularly na because of that people like me became friendly with them
Na respect dey make dem no dey try am not like some of them dont have the capacity to
I get mate for secondary school wey dey always beat Gatemen and teachers True, but thing is most of these kids, in a private school setting, you can ID them early and push them out. If it's government school setup where things like that are normalized, na to first try walking out and if impossible fight the pikin man to man That said, a lot of our teachers are poorly trained on conflict resolution, and that's why these sort of things would come up. Lemme ask you, in the US, a teacher fighting with a kid or giving slap, following say a shove, how does it end for the teacher? |

BlueRayDick: We have a failing educational system because of social media distraction and students refusing to read .
It has nothing to do with allowing teachers to slap or assault students . I have friends who were assaulted by our teachers and didn’t still amount to anything good .
These days we see students graduating with 5.0 CGPA which was alien to us during our set. These are students who weren’t slapped like you are advocating .
I agree students need to be disciplined , but crossing the line from discipline to assault is what i will never subscribe to. Yea, the standards for testing students have pretty much remained same, meanwhile students have a lot more available to them to prepare for these exams. I fit even say students of today are on average smarter than those from older generations. |

Spy360: So I ask if slapping is not a form of punishment especially for a student that physically assaulted his teacher?
Ordinarily a teacher would scold or flog a student. But if that student decides to lay hands on the teacher, slapping is not out of place. Slapping is overboard, I think at that point it's the teachers ego/emotions coming into play, and not them trying to discipline the child. Most schools restrict their teachers to certain types of punishments so that teachers don't start slapping, punching and kicking kids while claiming it's still discipline. |

iamoyindamola: Sue wetin They are both wrong(the parentsand teacher), he admitted he slapped the boy because he pushed him The burden of responsibility is actually on the teacher... And school owners can do well to protect their teachers, a child that's being physical with the teachers should simply be expelled or at least suspended. |

BlueRayDick: The parent did wrong beating up the teacher, but the teacher too was wrong slapping the student initially.
Teachers too should stop putting hands on students to the extent of slapping them abeg.
The things wey teachers dey do to students sef, dem go dey beat student like thief. Some of those things they call discipline is actually abuse. When u become a parent and see marks inflicted on Ur child by a teacher, there's a kind of trigger it builds in u. True. And if it's gotten to the point where a teacher has lost control in the course of discipline, it has crossed into abuse of authority. That era wey teachers dey pack all the frustration for their life on top children head don pass. |

Melvyn11: What does child support have to to do with protecting women? Gender war has really messed with some of your heads.
Melvyn: Fathers should provide and take of their children.
Bimmarlykay: You are protecting women, you are a feminist etc
It's all good chief 👍 Yea, it's more about protecting the child. Las Las whether man and woman are unable to come to an agreement on the child being born, if the child eventually gets born, it's deserving of catering. A society where men and women abdicate responsibilities towards children (regardless of whether they wanted said kids or not) slowly turns out worse for everyone. |

User09: Actually, its 0-1 against the feminazi as he's alleged to be one of their major backbones and financiers.
He even put up a Kiki Mordi stan on his bio before he deleted the account. Most of the people criticizing him now come from the "misogynist camp in their usual “misogynist vs. feminist” back-and-forth.
What I did find interesting however was the primary reason for his suspension. It centered more on the alleged sexual misconduct involving a subordinate rather than the other disturbing allegations. Cant say he wont have seen that one coming That's the only thing they can really build a case around. |
