Why go to such foolish lengths, I.e waste not only His time , money and effort, but also that of His family and friends? If I was a friend or brother He invited , I would be very upset with His stupidity - cutting His nose to spite His face.

Most private schools are now charging exorbitantly for schooling. You can imagine telling a parent to bring 150,000 naira for just a kid in primary school.

What of parents that have 3 to 4 kids. How will they cope and they are public servants.

The way to go may now be home schooling as most parents have started adopting it.

I have been an advocate of home schooling for years. And not because of cost of school fees.

Indeed i have seen life at its worst....

After mourning my husband i decided to leave my city Kaduna to begin a new life with my kids,yeah a boy and a girl.

I started from the scratch here in Abuja, from lesson that paid not upto #6000 to a school that pays #20,000 and presently am working in a school that pays not less than #50,000 all these boils down to my hardwork and perseverance and above all God.

Alright this the main ishhh, i met this single, understanding and loving guy that have already paid for my dowry and wedding is coming up November this year

Now my fear..... We love each other, he loves my kids so dearly we have been together for almost 2 years now that's why he decided to move the relationship further.

Ohh yes, i said my fear, his currently a job hunter ?

we thought things would get better before the wedding but Nigeria got no chill sincerely so now i have to leave my job and follow him to his city where he base so as to help him with his little business hoping things would get better.

So now my question, Am i doing the right thing by moving to his city or i should continue with my job and wait till he gets a better job??

Adding that his in his mid 30's and willing to settle down.

Please my people advice me. Or if you can help him pass through this stage of life, blessings will follow you.....

You don't have any of the irrational reasons society gives to women to hurry. You have married . You have had kids.

He should go to His place, take six months to one year and sort His business out. Then come back when He is ready to take care of Himself and a family.

I just indicated that one job has a higher risk than the other, which you should consider. Not that you should run away from risk, but use sense to minimize it- which may also mean avoiding it.

Even eating it's risky some die with bone stick in neck that doesn't mean one shouldn't eat but be careful and apply caution, driving itself is risky it's not only okada alone . Case closed.

Most important thing I picked is that you are not ashamed as a BSc holder (to think of Okada business) Please don't EVER loose that. Have a long term plan and stick to it.
1. Start your Okada business (to hell with what people think; only be sure you're not breaking the law)
2. As you make money, look for a good location and rent space and start after school lessons.
3. Okada in the morning/ afternoon, after school lessons in the evenings.
4. As time goes on, stop Okada business and concentrate on your after school offer.
5. Who says you can't start your own school sometimes in the future?

Not bad. Very logical advise. He should just make sure He prioritizes safety while riding the Okada. That is my main issue. Plus it is very stressful on the body if you don't protect and take care of yourself.

Not only helmet ooo. I know a guy who has had six accidents In like 2 years. Hands legs. On two occasions, He was not even in motion. He was parked and Someone came and ran into His leg.

So you will need very good body armour if you want to be really prepared

Riding Okada May get you more direct money, but the wear and tear on your body and life will be more telling. Talk less of the higher level of occupational hazard and accident proneness.
