Now northerners are talking

This particular person’s outrage is extremely shocking. Watching this video, I could not believe my eyes. These people worked tooth and nail to impose the incompetent leader on the majority of Nigerians. One thing most people do not realise about governance is that, your love for somebody—or somebody’s so called good qualities does not make them a good leader.

A good man does not make a good king.

It takes guts, empathy, courage and intelligence to govern an entity, especially one so rotten like Nigeria. Now look at them crying foul.
Kyari and the rest died, and now they cannot hold the contraption with duct tape anymore. Or even pretend like everything is alright.

Everything is falling apart.

Their graces are the fact that the 2023 General Elections are at the corner. I know for a fact that Buhari himself cannot wait to leave that seat. The heat is becoming too much. He’d not like to spend even one extra second.

Politics / Zainab, Kadaria Ahmed’s Sister Cries Bitterly In Protest Against FG by Thegracefulness: 1:04pm On Dec 15, 2021
Meet Zainab Ahmed, a sister to Kadaira Ahmed, the Nigerian journalist, media entrepreneur, television host and the Chief Executive Officer of RadioNow 95.3FM, who in the build up to the February 2019 general elections, moderated the town hall meetings for presidential candidates and their deputies, specifically that of President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Professor Yemi Osibanjo.

Today, she has led a #SaveTheNorth protest against the President.
Crying bitterly and complaining about the incessant killings going on in the North, specifically highlighting the unfortunate death of someone dear to her, who was raped by eight men before eventually being butchered.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQQDvDs5TVE

In 2019, her sister, Kadaria was accused of "open bias" in her handling of the presidential election debate between Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar but in her defense, she said her method drew from the way each of the candidates treated her during the election.

What do you think?

What do you call the process of a larvae changing to a butterfly?

These are the incidents that would shape this country.

In future, all mentions of Buhari’s name will be removed from public spaces, some of his descendants will be recluses, some will change their names, and most of his supporters will deny they supported him. The legacy of Buhari will be of a Nigerian who intentionally did not fulfill promises, a false-hope peddler and an alarmist.

Lalasticlala and his cohorts won't honor this girl's death because of their beef with Siggy .ng ... It's just a pity!

N.B: They will delete this comment and possibly ban me again

You’re an idot if you think honouring a dead person is moving your caricature blog to the front page. Some of you live and act like your life depends on controversy.

Sigggy:

Says someone who spams his own thread to sell a caricature land that doesn't even belong to him...

Update: those properties are very much my properties. They are in fact, family lands that we’re willing to sell. And currently, 1-5 plots of them are still available for sale in Igbo-Etche.

I don’t know who this Linda Ikeji wannabe is, but thank you for bringing publicity to those properties. I’ve been looking for a buyer to no avail, because of the bad reputation that area holds.

I assure you, we are genuine. I’m an attorney at Law. You can hit me up on my phone number. Lalasticlala, I appreciate you for ignoring his madness and pushing this to the front page. “Na man you sef be.”

You’re a brilliant man. I’m something of a genius myself too. But tell this to the average individual and they’d misunderstand you.

I’m thankful for the woman that birthed me for the opportunity and wisdom she imbibed in me. Unfortunately she’s an “out of school” housewife. I remember one Saturday evening after I had my worst result in school, and then I came back with my report card, and after consoling me, she was forced to tell me her story.

Let me quote her verbatim. She said “I wish I had the chance at pursuing my academics to this practical level. But in our society then, it was unlike today. It was difficult for us women. My father—who is your Grandfather, refused to send me to school because he thought ‘women preserved their values, while men created it.’ That is why the average woman is more desirable and valuable than the average man. I was barely concerned about succeeding in school. I just wanted to go to school because schooling was what at least one girl in each family did at that time. And I was fortunate that your aunties—my sisters, singled me out to go. Because at that time they had boyfriends, and their boyfriends would laugh at them if they found out that they sat down with children for hours, in a small classroom, merely looking at a blackboard.”

She concluded by saying; “Success isn’t a lifestyle choice for ANY man. It’s a matter of life and death. On the other hand, look around you; It’s a lifestyle choice only for SOME women. A woman who fails at career or academia can just simply give up and become a wife, a lover or choose to become a mother like in my case. She would now suddenly be wanted for who she is, or what she has become. But tell me, who is interested in a man who is a loser? NOBODY. What can he make out of his unfortunate situation? Misery. More misery until the end of his days. Pursue your education like your whole life depends on it, because someday you’d realise your whole life really depends on it.”

I almost teared up after this conversation. You have no idea how motivated I became and where it got me today. I wish she had the opportunity I had.

Education / Re: Mirabel Obi: My Father Lost Contracts Due To Twerking Video- UNN Medical Student by Thegracefulness: 9:59pm On Nov 04, 2021
In Nigeria, you’re either known for “the good” or “the bad”.

The good covers feats like academic excellence, giant strides in manufacturing infrastructure, or medical development and research breakthroughs.

The bad covers for “Ex-BBN housemate, Instagram Celebrity, a.k.a Twerkaholic, Political Godfather a.k.a my generation alone is entitled to good living.”

This girl’s father has probably lost hundreds of thousands of naira, but her nyash is an open door. It’s a breakthrough to a new miserable lavish but wealthy lifestyle.

Watch people start hunting for her Instagram page. Then by tomorrow, she’d audition for the highly publicised but morally deprived BBNaija and be known as “The University Twerker,” and then acquire a “fanbase” filled with dimwits and ottelectuals alike, that would be ready to literally kill for her. That would have time to send death threats to themselves and whilst trekking and starving, contribute millions to buy her birthday gifts and cars.

May God have mercy on you and give you a job so you barely have time to read long epistles like this on the Internet.

Politics / Re: Weighty Matters About Our Country - By Femi Adesina by Thegracefulness: 8:48pm On Oct 08, 2021
Adesina is a small boy. And I’m not only talking about his age. I’m talking about wisdom, truthfulness and in situational analysis. Maturity does not only come from experience but also one’s perspective is considered to adjudge him/her mature.

Well, the majority of our politicians take actions after their stomach’s infatuation. Lust for power and greed has covered their sensibilities. They think they know what they’re doing, they think it’s political tantrums and shenanigans but they’re actually not in control of their minds.

That’s my submission. I don’t bother to know if our president is dead as a mice or tongue-in-cheek. If you can conveniently see failure and defend it wholeheartedly with think-pieces, you’re a shame to the “argghs” and “uhhhs” of your mother in her labour bed.

Remember who else has been incarcerated?

Anyway, I’d like to use this medium to congratulate and welcome all the New Wigs that have been called to the Nigerian Bar at the Eagle Square today, may your certificates take you places you’d never have imagined in your wildest dreams.

Sponsored thought pieces like this belong in the advertorial section.

Why east

Note that this question is inherently wrong in its foundation. The question should be; “Why rape any person at all?” We should try to distinguish sorrow and jokes or bants. This is real life. This is somebody’s sister, cousin, friend. Girlfriend. This is somebody’s life.

People are being raped in Kaduna, in Borno, in Lagos State—rape and sexual assault is no respecter of tribe, religion or creed. It’s an inhumane activity that devours people’s self esteem. We should try and be more liberal and reasonable when we come across some issues on this forum.

This young man, a fortunate breed. Born into influence and wealth.

If you sit amongst rich folks and hear them talk about Nigeria, then you sit around poor folks and hear them discuss the same Nigeria, you’d wonder if it’s one and the same country. People are experiencing conditions in the country differently.

May God not punish children for the sins of their fathers. Amen.

Whether the DSS did or didn’t, sincerely, I don’t even care. I am for everything (legal) against this Muhammadu Buhari led regime.

They used propaganda to unseat a man who strove so hard to lift the majority of Nigerians out of acute poverty. Now look at the situation of things in the country. Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo cannot even handle one-tenth of what they threw at Ebele Jonathan.

Every single sector of the country has collapsed. And don’t talk about oil prices or pandemic. Because what pandemic? Nigeria’s coronavirus was politicized. Africa was not hit with that virus as hard as the other Western continents were.

Nigeria had a chance to leave the economy open and adequately tackle the spread of the virus, but no, they needed to steal. So they had to lock us up in the houses for God knows what. And I thought they said Buhari was coming to diversify the economy? Why are they still hellbent on selling oil to build the economy? Clowns.

The DSS has lost it’s highly revered and feared worth. Now it’s just a puppet organization, going after internet fraudsters and political opponents. Hunger sef dey catch DSS officials.

Update; Some of you are speaking of how inept and horrible Goodluck Jonathan was. Fine. That you’d even compare his administration with that of Buhari shows where your mind belongs. Statistically, how has Buhari’s “regime” matched up to that of Goodluck’s? The raging insecurity and Boko Haram terrorism we witnessed during Goodluck’s administration, who were the orchestrators? That man’s wife legitimately cried on live television, do you know the elements that were working so hard to frustrate that man’s efforts? Ebele and his Service Chiefs for whatever reasons failed to adequately empower and arm the army, as much as Buhari is doing now, that is true, he definitely had his shortcomings, but were we not making progress? Would he not have made amends? He had only ruled for one term, plus a continuing of the revered Yar’Adua’s administration (May his soul rest well), do you know how much amends would have been made in his second tenure? Where was Nigeria then, and where is Nigeria now? Sometimes say these things with reason and without blindness. You can never compare the both administrations—no matter how incompetent Goodluck was. Buhari decieved us. Deceived all of you. Just like your typical Nigerian politicians.

I’ve ignored every other quotes but I thought to reply to you. Cruising?? With people’s lives on the line? Millions and millions of people’s lives. People are dying of hunger, of insecurity, of intentional mishandling and politically orchestrated evils daily. Whoever sees the evil this government is perpetrating and chooses to politicize issues, or “catch cruise” with it, just as you’ve said, they’re either very, very heartless and evil, or they’re stupid.
