I actually my fiance back in naija ,but on getting here and working In a mental health hospital I see how men get destroyed here when they divorce .I am definitely getting a prenup ,I am not an age where i can afford to lose everything I 've worked for to start again.The reality is a prenup can protect both husband and wife from taking each others assets when they break up and it's not necessarily the husband alone that can lose property ,I will also have the wife sign a prenup against me so it's balanced ,if anything happens I don't want her money.Concerning oyinbo girls mehn ,I really hate this place ,I ve not even hooked up with any white lady since I got here ,u have to be walking on eggshells so it doesn't turn to harassment.You go to gym everybody just does their thing ,no hello no hi .Mehn I am definitely establishing connections in naija and be going there regularly for refreshment with fresh blood ..

Please i just needed to ask this. If one has an opportunity of choosing between teeside university with £6500( after discount), MBA with placement year and on the other hand, University of Lincoln, same MBA and with no placement and fees of £11,600. Which one is better.

And also do teeside still request for bank statement cos i didn't see any of that on the unconditional letter i got. All I saw was to pay a £4000 deposit.

Mind you Lincoln does not request for statement or pre-cas interview bla bla,as per what i heard about teeside( if that still stands).

Hi scobyy2007, am heading to Bristol this Sept family of 6. We've been looking at hotels and short-term accommodation pending when we get a house but everything online seems so expensive for a large family.

I want to assume you are in Bristol? Could you please make a suggestions area or close cities to Bristol student's with dependents can easily get accommodation.

I have done some research too for cwmbran, newport, cardiff,Swindon. I wanted to know your recommendation in terms of jobs and cost of living in those places i listed,I believe this will help alot of us heading to Bristol .

Hello. I am about to fill my UK immigration form online. Here are my questions (1) the address on my 29 statement of account from my bank came out with my old residence address due to long time I’ve been using the bank account which makes it so different from my new residence address I live at as at now, hope it’s still cool ?

(2) concerning my immigration travel history. My passport is empty what I mean by empty was my passport has never been stamped which I’ve not travel out of my home country Nigeria before in fact I’ve not board a flight before in my life but year 2020 I had 3 months Kuwait E-visa but I couldn’t go to Kuwait due to the COVID-19, here’s the question as my passport has not been stamped before and for the fact that I’ve not travelled before do I need to say “YES” I have a visa before or “NO” with no traveling experience before.

Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) rules for Temporary staff in the UK

Since 2011, after 3 months in a Temp role, the Agency have to BY LAW increase your hourly pay rate to what they would pay someone doing a comparable job on a permanent basis.

So, lets say that out of desperation you accepted a job for £10 per hour on a Temp basis through an Agency, after you have been in the same Temp role with the same hirer for 12 calendar weeks, the agency has to increase your hourly pay rate to the same pay and upgrade your working conditions to that of a comparable direct employee of the hirer. So if for instance a direct employee of the hirer is being pad £40,000 per annum which equates to £20.51 per hour if you do a 37.5 hour week then after you have been in the same Temp role with the same hirer for 12 calendar weeks, the agency is required BY LAW to increase your hourly pay rate from £10 per hour to £20.51 per hour although some agencies will keep quiet about this as not many Temp's know about these AWR regulations.

Its called (Agency Workers Regulations) AWR rules. Under the AWR, temporary agency workers become entitled, after they have been in the same role with the same hirer for 12 calendar weeks, to the same pay and working conditions as a comparable direct employee of the hirer.

If you've been in a Temp fole with the same employer for at least 12 calendar weeks and you feel your rate is much lower than the equivalent rate for a comparable direct employee of the hirer just tell your agency that you just about something called AWR and they should increase your rates and possibly backdate it too if they don't want to run foul of the law.

An agency I once worked with some time ago lost its NHS contract to a cheaper Agency. The new agency I was transferred to increased my rates immediately and when I was puzzled about this, they said it was because AWR kicked in but the old Agency kept quiet about this until I mentioned AWR to them and they had to back pay me the increased rate they previously kept quiet about.

I have an issue that I can't wrap my head around.I came into the country towards the end of last year on tier 4.I applied for jobs and got several rejections ,so I joined an agency which gives me job as they have ,of which my 20 hrs is not even sure.I continued applying for jobs as I wanted a company that I will fixed with my sure 20hrs.
I got one that invited me for interview and I attended and was subsequently sent an invitation for induction and for final check on RTW.Now today they are sending me a message that unfortunately they cannot move my application to interview stage etc.
Please I am confused as per why they will send for induction and take it back and are they discriminating against international students on Tier 4 or what.This is really getting to me.

There’s a place on the visa application form that ask, if anyone is financially dependent on me whether traveling with me or at home. I don’t know if I’m suppose to indicate that my husband is financially dependent on me since we intend traveling together and I’m the main applicant. Not everything is about race. Not everybody with light skin is white. In Nigeria we call Indians, Chinese, Lebanese, Pakistani white (oyibo).
Also noteworthy is the fact that the Scottish/ Irish people are constantly being racially abused by the English white people. So when u want start playing the race card, be sure the idiots involved are actually racist and not just acting the part.

Done. The GMC site indicates that both PLAB tests can be taken in the UK.
But my relative just graduated and has not done Housemanship or house job (whichever name it is called). The Second pressing issue that I still don't know is that is housemanship a compulsory requirement or condition that must be met before a medical graduate can write the PLAB 1&2 Exams?
