What part of England can one live In that you can make your money go farthest i.e very reasonable accommodation and not London and Peri London prices .The kind of pay they pay in this U.K to doctors is ridiculous for such a skilled and risk taking job and I need to make my money go as far as possible.I'm talking of like an area where you can get three bedrooms or 2 bedrooms for 600 to 700 pounds and live reasonably well..

Does this mean that I need to submit my older passport since it has all my old visas and stamps?

I haven't used my new passport for any travels since I got it about 2 years ago.

Will I apply for them separately and pay each IHS fee and visa separately.
Because, I just got to the final stage now and I discovered nothing was mentioned about my dependant ihs and visa fee. Will I raise a separate application for them?

Please guys i need your suggestions… so i know alady who got a job in a hospital in the Uk whilst she was still in Nigeria. After she arrived the uk she got a letter from her manager, and used this letter to open a bank account( definitely she had no bills or credit history at the time). But she was able to open the bank account with the letter and brp card.

Now another lady has also gotten a job in the uk as a doctor.upon arrival, she requested a letter from her HR to open a bank account. She was issued the letter but no bank seems to be accepting the letter. I find this very confusing.
They all keep demanding for a proof of address. She is currently still squatting with a friend if not her best bet would have been her tenancy agreement.

Please does anyone know whats best for her to do?? Or how does she go about the whole bank account issue

Boss @justwise I got your point the reason matters a lot, I was referring to her insufficient fund case issue which Is a common major refusal reason ukvi often used in refusing people with economic ties. Fraudulent cases are just not too rampant.

If your primary applicant will benefit from the post study, it seems automatically you will benefit too being the dependent, My opinion though.. Everything depends on the primary applicant.

However, I’ve been in the UK since March, my course started in January.

It’s for my DEPENDENT to join me in September, so they also have to be in the UK before September 27 to be considered for the PSW when I switch?
That’s what is confusing me, I apologise for the stress.

Please I just booked a Covid test and put my arrival date to be on the 26th of August but they sent the attached email that the test kit will be dispatched next day. Does this mean it will be delivered tomorrow or just dispatched to arrive around August 26th? I am confused

Hello everybody, please I need clarification on somethings and would really appreciate inputs.

I came to the Uk about 4 months ago without a a dependant as I was unmarried, however now I want to go home in September to get married and my partner will be applying for a dependant visa.

My question now is that; if we marry in September, does it matter if the dependant visa is applied for in the same September? 1.Like do we need to give some time after we get the marriage certificate?

Just to add to this, just like I said in the original post about whether or nor Nigeria's variant of Covid Vaccine is recognised, it isn't. It was donated to us by COVIXXX Institute of Serum(I think), India. The variants from India and Russia aren't recognised even though they're from their EU branch, which I think is a bit unfair.

Only other variants manufactured from their other locations are recognised. In summary, We'll still have to self isolate. Cheers
