Hi mama, I had 2 failed ivf cycle because of this. fluid will need to be drained. Also you need to find out what is causing the excess fluid production and retention. In my case, I had issues caused by scar tissues from previous myomectomy and other procedures + I had polyps. I was also reacting to progynova (causing me to produce excess fluids) and the fluids weren't flowing out properly because of the scar tissues. I have 2 hysteroscopies ( to clear scar tissues and take out polyps) and a catheterization procedure before my last successful ivf.

Osoderi:
Hello house what medication works for you to assist thicken your lining? I have tried all medications but having 3mm. use progynova and L'Arginine.

Secondly have any body experience fluid in the uterus during the IVF process. was this drained? Kindly assist share experience. Thank u

I know quite a number of people who have their bfp at first trial with Dr omisakin, been using him for over a year now and I had my bfp to the glory of God at 2nd trial. Dr omisakin is very good and if for any reason the first time didn't work, he is patient enough to counsel and help you navigate a 2nd trial to success with God on your side.

PossiblityGod:
Good evening mommas, please is there anyone who have used PF medicals(Dr omisakin) and got Bfp on first trial? Please I need an honest reviews of this clinic.

I think it's better for her to do it with the Dr who already knows her history and the journey so far and it is advised especially with IVF twin conception. The price is high though but God will help and make provision for her by His Grace.

TwinHeart:

Elective cerclage is not compulsory if you don’t have history of cervical incompetence even with twin. I know someone that can do it for half the price sha.

Yes, I don't think duphaston is strong enough. A Dr once mentioned to me that it is better used as support and the progesterone injections, more frequently like 2 or 3 weekly may yield better results here. Also consider taking intralipid infusion before embryo transfer, you can ask your Dr about it. mamas here have testified that it is helpful.

All the best Sis..... Lots of hugs

Marchingforward:

Thanks dear. I used long protocol, I was placed on pronatal and duphaston after egg transfer. After pregnancy was confirmed, I was placed on premolut injection weekly... The last one, scan confirmed twins but I eventually lost them. I don't know if oral progesterone (duphaston) is strong enough, I just don't know what could be the problem, the Dr is not giving any reason either.

Hi Mama, your Dr will gradually begin to wean you off them at 12 or 13 weeks once you enter 2nd trimester but that may also depend on the clinic and their protocol.

crownandhoney:
Hi mamas…
I have a question for the IVF babies mums, pls when did y’all stop taking your medications? And what gradual process did you take?
I have been on mine for 11 weeks now. Progynova, estrogen and duphaston.

Please check the prescription on the bottle, it specifies 6 capsules daily..... unless you are talking about another coast science supplement

HEISGOD:

Do you mean 6 capsules of coastscience in a day? If yes, this is highly overdosed my sister. Please note that it contains 600mg of Coq10 aside other supplements which is needed per day. Please a capsule is OK for a day, pray and God will show up. Shalom.!

Lots of Hugs Sis, you have been through a lot and I know how it feels to be out of your wits and in so much pain. There's only one thing I know, lean on God, there is no one who can console you or take the pain away except from Him. Trust in His word. I don't know what faith you belong to but trust in God, meditate on His word, seek His word, remind yourself of His promises, and trust this is a process to your expected end. This waiting period is not a punishment, God has never failed and He will not start with you. Yes, bad things happen in the world because we live in a wicked world but He already said we should be of good cheer because we have overcome the world. Trust Him to help you overcome this. I hope you have a supportive partner, lean on each other, be open, and talk about the pain, if you have a support system and friends talk about it, don't hold the pain in. Journaling also helps, it has helped me. Also, don't give up, never nurse the idea of calling it quit. Review your ivf protocols, your reports, and what can be done differently, if you need to see multiple opinions, do it. do be sentimental, if you feel any type of way about your treatment process or Doctor, voice it out and deal with it in the best way that helps your journey. you have already spent a lot of resources to not be able to have a say in whatever treatment you are getting. Take care of yourself, do the things you love unapologetically, and find the beauty in little things, I can't stress this enough, ttc is expensive and you could literally end up with no clothes on your back just because you are spending so much on drugs and medications so be conscious of this and take care of yourself, as much as you can enjoy the best things of life. I can literally go on and on but if you do want to talk, you can reach out via email..... Please be strong, apologies for my long epistle smiley

Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Thehomemaker(f): 8:28am On May 02, 2023
Hi Sis, Lots of hug to you. I can't imagine how you feel but you need to be strong and put your faith in God. Your ability to live in divine health, and conceive and carry your babies is all in God. believe His report for your life. None shall be barren, that is His confirmed assurance to us all so stay strong. I pray for you and your husband's heart, you will be strong, this will pass and victory is assured.

Have you considered doing a hysteroscopy, that's the best way to know the state of your womb, endometrium and cervix. If possible, please use a fertility hospital/fertility specialist so you can get a more precise diagnosis and way forward. stenosis can be treated so do not lose faith. Since you are in Lagos, you can find quite a number of specialists and different price points. praying for you..... lots of baby dusts

Hi Sis, Please be calm. Don't be frantic, your body does not need that anxiety at this moment. Day 4 scan is still early. My Dr will usually start scan on day 5/6 for a 10-day stim and will do it every other day afterward till the trigger shot so don't you worry yourself. Please don't be anxious, anticipate a more positive outcome on Saturday. We believe God's report for our conception. All the best Mama!

Hello Mamas,

I need your advice. I’m presently stimulating and this is day 4. I did a tvs and the doctor said there are no present changes. The first tvs she did before the stimulation showed I had many follicles and she was impressed.

Is there any reason to be worried? Has anyone experienced this? She increased my drugs dose and asked me to return on Saturday but I’m frantic
