is there any sound prayer meeting witout a word ministration?
No. But the depth of the ministration is equal to the effectiveness of the prayer....

Catholic church is One Church that reminds u of the need to be holy and at Peace with God. If you are a good Catholic who understands what the Eucharist is all about, u would know that u can't receive the holy Communion if u have committed a sin (especially a mortal sin) without going for confessions. This alone should make you uncomfortable in ur sin, especially when others go to receive the holy communion and u'r seated all through as a communicant. Not that anyone would care why u'r seating, but in your heart u wld know it's because u are not "in a state of Grace". In fact, pple leave the Catholic Church because they preach holiness most of the time and most people, especially the youths, do not want to hear all that because they consider it boring . So they go to churches where they preach what they want to hear, and at the same time do not emphasize on holiness, confessions, and penance.
You are not correct. BTW, how often do you partake of the blood during communion?

Bro. I suggest u get more specific here. That the Parish u attend isnt 'spirit-filled' doesnt make other catholic parishses the same.

Moreover have u heared of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria(CCRN)...also called *Charismatics... in the catholic church? Or is ur parish not having one?

**i suggest u join them.

A sunday mass in my place(when i was at Niger state).... Used to be like a prayer meeting!!! When I came down to Ibadan...same cannot be said of my current parish.

Does that mean that all catholic church parishes are the same...NO they are not. Yet...wer at work in me has not for once left me!!!.
Extra activities outside the main church program is a proof of lack of fulfillment in the church.... As a Catholic back in Warri Fr Ozele used to fill the void with his spring of love, programs

Because of lack feel spiritual depth, many Catholics have become part time 'pentecostals' church members and frequent visitors to prayer houses

You have missed his point. He is addressing word ministrations not just prayer. And I can relate with his ordeal having been in similar situation.

(Money must be made) The motto of new generation pastors.
Genuine 'new generation' pastors have led many out of ignorance and sin... The first sign that your church is encouraging you to remain ii son is if members runs from on 'strong prayerful house to another as well visit prophets every now and then.

One thing that baffles me is that Nigerians invest more in animal production and fisheries but less on crop farming ,why is this so?
I believe emphasis should be more on crop farming than animal farming
What about the coched farms and others?

I just laugh @ Lord, he doesn't know you cannot fight government no matter how much billions you have acquired. Worse come to worst the whole Country will suffer for the oil facilities destroyed and I can tell you it's the ND that will suffer for it the most coz your land will be the war zone, your only source of livelihood is Oil other regions have other things they are into. So I advice the likes of @Lord making mouth to better warn Tompolo to submit himself.

This is not a "push the blame".

Just a "look into the past" how it could have prevented and help the present issue.
I don't think his looking into the past was to find solution... He wants Nigerians to know that it did not start with the present government.... And the rate was actually higher in the last but under reported.

well analysed writeup there! but this raises one or two questions and those are:

Where does the money that was distributed to those people that have been mentioned so far comes from?

Or no money was ever distributed to anybody and the names being mentioned is part of the propaganda?

But mind you, not one of those people, despite realising the implications of the scandal on their political career denied to have collected money from the last administration.
There's a difference between security votes and defence budget.... Everybody who has been in government know this... Security votes are never accounted for... Till date, it is still the practice while defence budget s allocations for hardwares and softwares of the security forces.... Including their emoluments.
This government has set up a precedent that might hurt them in the future all because of the fight against Dasuki.

Security votes are like public relations cash for any government... If an opinion leader needs to be settled, the comes from there, if some powerful individual needs to be neutralized in their locality, it is from that votes that another person is groomed and suddenly becomes rich enough to vanquish the enemy.

The won't succeed in court against Dasuki.

Warri, particularly Effurun and Ekpan, is the last place to site such a business in all the thriving cities in Nigeria.

na wa o..I loved growing up in warri o,still miss it but this youth unrest and robbery is getting out of hand.December here,my church member boarded a keke, not knowing it was robbers. They removed her gold jewelries, collected her handbag and pushed her out of the keke which was in motion. The poor woman,a wife and mother of 4 died on d spot, her brain was scattered all over the floor sef. That sent chills down my spine.Fear no come dey let me enter keke like that till I left. When them catch them now enter okere now,dem go dey carry bible come court like that can do anything for them. Its very bad honestly.Which state shoprite don get this issue,if not warri? All this informed my decision not to live there and work.Na december to december get am to see my family.Okowa should do something to empower those guys, eps.as the average deltan is very hard working. What most lack is the means to even set up a business, hence they take to crime to survive.
The average Urhobo, I mean Uvwie youth, does not believe in hard work but deve.... And headship of garage/motor parks.

They want something they just come in the evening to collect returns not involved in the day to day running.... It is at the root of the crisis, one group trying to unseat the other from parks and senior and junior DC post

I don't think it's armed robbery per say, but it's some kind of community disturbance. My neighbour said over 40 angry youths stormed the premises chanting songs of protest. He actually left the building using one of the emergency exit doors. Your brother could perhaps do same if it's not too late. Still awaiting more info on what's really going on though.
Community disturbance is at the root of the underdevelopment of Effurun.

yes, is very expensive. That is why i said it is not a regular govt. school................ Is even more expensive than some private schools.

In Delta State, they stop enrolling students that took normal pri. 6 common entrance and force those that can't pay school fees or live in the hostel to leave.
The model differs....Anambra state still underwrites the operating and capital cost of the schools.

Please all N'landers follow me thank God Oo I wouldn't have know today. At about 4:30pm yesterday I left my house at akobo Ibadan and I decided to take the railway track to Ojuirin Akobo, on my way I had my iPhone 6 in my hand and my original iPhone head phone blasting Olohun o je by Pasuma and Qdot. I was lost in the music that I didn't notice my environment. A carriage train was coming with high speed behind me, something just told me to observe my environment when I did I saw everyone looking at my direction, shouting, making hand signs but I couldn't hear anything but I understand the hand signs, they were telling me to get out of the track, 2 girls at the age of 7-9 ran towards me and they are making the hand sign immediately I grabbed them I took off my headphone, to my surprise the train is NEAR. It keeps the high tone horn blasting... After 5 seconds(without exaggeration) of me getting off the track the train passed by me with high speed about 80km per hr... My heart dropped from my chest to my feet and the only thing that came to my mind was my 6 month old daughter...

Thanks to God after all Olohun o je
My daughter is not a fatherless child
My wife is not a widow

Please lalasticlala help push this to front page, it might save someone else life you never know...

Heard the same thing happened last year at Aleshinloye junction along apata road Ibadan, the guy was said to have headphone on until the train crushed him...

Please all mod don't wait for graphic photos before pushing this to FP people just need to learn..
