Relationship just isn't worth it for now. |

Rgade: I swear, his family made him that way. Imagine growing up with 3 sisters. His dad is also the quiet type and didn't teach him how to be a man. He was left at the mercy of his more outspoken mum and 3 sisters who all pussified and simpified him No boy should grow up predominantly under the influence of women. Your analysis is not exhaustively true. I grew up with 5 sisters and very easy going parents, yet I'm nothing like him. It's just personality, although that family setting must have augmented it. |

Coder2Client: I am not in support of this ugly act but homosexuality has been in existence since time immemorial. That could mean the urge to have sex with same gender as you was embedded into human systems by the creator (God).
The question now is, why would God create something for man kind and later wants mankind to stay away from that same thing created for human kind?
Such cases are explicitly put under punishment and curses by the Creator (God) in Leviticus 18 God never put sexual urge towards the same gender in any human. Stop spreading false information. Biologically and spiritually, it isn't just normal |

Richdad50:

Modern Christian couples enjoy sex and are more likely to be satisfied than worldly couples. There is something about spirituality and sexiness. Couples who find time to pray together find time to make passionate love together.
There is often a burden of sexual performance for secularists but a godly union has none of it. Their sexual workouts are less stressful and highly rewarding to both partners.
A recent study in the US discovered that Christain wives had more sexual fulfillment than liberals. To find true fulfillment in sex, one has to draw close to the person who created sex himself.

otipoju: First of all...the time difference. Some of my very stupid friends will be chatting or calling me at 2 am after I have explained severally that Nigeria is most times five hours ahead of me and it's best we talk on the weekends. Last last the whole talk will boil down to come and give me money.
Secondly... the mindset, the western world is not a laid back environment..you are constantly on your feet working to pay your bills and thinking of taking advantage of the next opportunity so you dont get left behind . "Abeg sir"no dey there if you fail to pay on the due date, you get a penalty fee which you must pay. If you dont they disconnect the service. End of story.
Compare this to Nigeria where men can chill every evening after work with beer or soccer and party every weekend until maybe 3 months to pay the annual rent then you begin hustle the money to pay rent..and can owe nepa for 9 months sef. If dem cut light, you tap from your neighbour.
Lastly most Nigerians just want to beg for money whether they are in need or not. Some if you dare give them once dem go open office for your head. Them no get shame and na to dey carry real and imaginary problem come every month or three months. No self respect...when you compare that begi begi mindset with that of the west where everyone is self dependent you'll understand why your friends or relatives eventually ghost you.
I have a relative who will be sending me prayer and happy new month messages. Every 3 month he will always have one problem or project that needs support.
Recently I decided to borrow him money instead of the usual give. 3 weeks turned into three months. Na so so excuse every month. Not paid back one kobo.
Last week the person had the guts to send the proposal of a business plan along with voice note that he needs my support. Meanwhile there is a group that we are both on that he does not know that I am on as well that where he was suggesting to them that they contribute money for independence day party.
I just shook my head and blocked his number. My guy you're so on point. Although I'm still in Naija but I totally agree with you. I've got relatives in the US and yet for me to even ask them for money is harder than looking for a needle in a haystack. That's because I know it's not easy out there and we all should respect ourselves. God bless bro |

CivilzedTyger: I honesty can't mention one thing my fineness has done for me, aside getting unnecessary stares from ladies once in a while, fresh niggur still broke.
It's better to be average looking in Nigeria if u don't have money, as a fine boy no be all menial jobs u go fit do. You can't even go and apply for some jobs and they'll just see u and conclude you'll be lazy and won't perform.
I remember when I first went to my boss' shop for apprenticeship, he was kinda hostile to me at the beginning, it was later after discovering I'm a very simple person that he told me that when he first saw me he thought I was going to impregnate all his female apprentices.
When 100 lvl result came out, a girl actually had the guts to come and tell me that she didn't know I was this brilliant, that my looks deceived her, I was like WTF! so fine people no dey know book. I can relate to everything you stated man. There was a certain time I was in school, the school was renovating all the student hostels and that was during an holiday period, so hence, most students who had masonry and painting skills came to the different sites so they can earn some daily money. Me I knew how to paint, so I went there the first day, I came late when the contractor in charge had already assigned everyone a role in the site, fine boy like me I just came and met the man, he just look me, e nor even reason me, I guessed he must have said in his mind "wetin this one fit do? "... It was another contractor, who was visibly elderly that saw me and he was kinda shocked.. I could see it in his face. He called the contractor in charge and told him to assign me a role in the site, hours later, the same man came to meet me and was like he is proud of me, that other guys who were as handsome as me would be forming "fine boy" that they cannot even do this kind of job... Lol.. That just one of my many experiences as a painter (side hustle) and many other scenarios |

Programming › Re: Django Or Node? by TheManOfTheYear(op): 9:19am On Aug 20, 2020 |
ninety5: the first thing you should know is that these two things you are comparing are very different. Django js a framework for making web apps while nodejs is a runtime time environment which is used to run server side functionalities.
Though I am still relatively new to programming and have not laid my hands on either of the two, people often suggest Django (if you will move to backend) over other frameworks because it makes you understand good structural development practises.
I may be wrong anyway. Thanks for your input but you're a little wrong. Django is based on python while node is javascript for back-end. Perhaps I should have put it more explicitly because node is just the language. Express.js is the framework for node while Django is the framework for python |
Programming › Re: Django Or Node? by TheManOfTheYear(op): 9:14am On Aug 20, 2020 |
tensazangetsu20: Bros I am also in the same boat. I started learning nodejs. Dropped PHP for it since node is JavaScript and is want to spend more time mastering JavaScript but most job vacancies from big companies. Companies that can big salaries and sponsor work visas then to require c# as a language and angular as a framework. Na small startups wey no get money dey use node don't really agree with this, in back-end every language has its job niche.. You will be surprised that Ruby on rails even have more jobs than C# Some of those big companies use Java and C# because that's what they've been using since and they cannot just transition like that. They also use Angular because it is more suitable for large-scale web apps |
Romance › Re: Should I Marry Albino? by TheManOfTheYear: 10:54pm On Aug 19, 2020 |
maduxs: Admin please bring this post to light. I have an albino girlfriend, we have been dating for a while now but the fact remains that the stigmatization is too much. People discriminate against her so much.
Every time I'm walking with her people looks at us as if we came from another planets. All my close relations and friends I told about her discouraged me from getting married to her. Everybody is against me, they told me how can I introduce albinism to my lineage.
I understand that she has a very poor visual acuity, she is prone to skin cancer, she will depend on me to get some certain task done especially under sun.
She is a very good girl, what I'm looking at is what is inside her I mean her personality even though she is obese, she gives me peace of mind.
Finally she is also a petrochemical engineer, and very brilliant person though her albinism has been disadvantageous to her from getting a better job. I just proposed to her against all odds even though I'm all alone.
Should I go on to marry her? Please I need advice from people with mature minds. marrying her would mean bringing in an albino gene into your bloodline, one of your kids could turn out to be one. But if you're cool with that, then go ahead. It's character and love that truly matters. You are a good man |

Programming › Re: Django Or Node? by TheManOfTheYear(op): 4:00pm On Aug 19, 2020 |
PtBlank: Since you have already stated JavaScript, stick with Node, its JavaScript for the backend. When you're comfortable with that and have built some projects, you can decide to learn Python later I really don't buy this idea of learning Node because I'll love to continue in the same language.. My decision would be based on which is more functional |

Good day devs, I'm currently learning web development for about 8 months now. I've picked up React and of course I'm still learning vanilla JavaScript, but perhaps next year, I would start learning a back-end language and framework, but I'm undecided on which one to pick. Django or Nodejs, what do you think are the pros and cons of each? |
