You are even going too far.

A relative reached out to me the other day for help via WhatsApp saying his family was starving. I called him later on and he was at a bar drinking. I said haa, uncle you still see money to dey drink beer and he responded saying "I'm drinking to forget the too many problems in this country".

I was furious at that point. I respectfully told him, do you know if you had saved money you spent on two bottles of beer, that's dinner money right there.

The thing is that Nigerians hate to make adjustments. Small thing, they start begging for help when all they need is just little adjustment and everything will be fine.

What they don't realize is that their family members abroad work round the clock and deny themselves some good things of life just to make extra and send back home whereas they the recipients don't want to deny themselves anything.

They do owambe all the time and still expect you that don't have the liberty to do an owambe to sponsor their own owambe. No be juju be that?

You're very right

Sermwell:
It was back then in school. My girl was made assistant bible study secretary in the campus fellowship. They kept disturbing her that she can't date anyone because of the position she occupies. She asked me to hold on with the relationship till her tenure ends. I agreed.

After about 3 months, she came visiting and I checked her phone. What I saw was heart wrenching. grin grin

Another one was after graduation! I checked my girl's phone and saw how my landlord's first son was willing to transfer 25k to my girl if she will agree to sleep with him. She didn't agree tho

Was it the same girl?
Can you share what you saw after 3 months?

Everything Tinubu and his successors
achieved in Lagos was the taxing and
taxing of everything and everyone taxable.

That's why many companies and manufacturers left Lagos and moved to
other West African countries that had

I knew that Tinubu will bring same policy
on the national level by taxing everything
& everyone without giving anything back.

In less than a month, we are already suffering
this policies, right from us in urban areas
to our relations back in the villages❗️❗️❗️😕

Most developed countries tax their people
well, but also pay their people well and
provide shelter, security and public infrastructure, everything works.

Here in Nigeria, APC tax and tax, but you
provide your security, water, roads, electricity,
transportation and everything else.

A few years back, the Minister Of Defence
lambasted villagers in Katsina and Zamfara
for being unable to confront and fight
the bandits that were terrorizing, kidnapping
and killing them in hundreds, imagine❗️❗️ Same bandits our armed forces are unable to defeat. Every official was afraid of blaming
Buhari, the Commander In Chief of the Armed forces.

How you want us to pay for something that is not available is what is still giving me headache.

You cannot provide it,yet the little wey dey ground you want to do an increase. Why don't you fix that first and make the increase? People will pay joyfully.

I keep on referring to the telecommunications industry. The infrastructure was on ground. People paid through their noses to get a GSM line because they wanted to talk and they were able to talk not that after spending a fortune to get a line they still couldn't talk.

No,It was easy to talk because it wasn't a case of putting the cart before the horse.

We told you the Tinubu administration will be that of tears and sorrow economically for Nigerians, some people say I should not say otherwise. By the time he is done taxing Nigerians you won't even be able to have an erection because cost of things would have even spoilt your erection

Crime / Re: NDLEA Official, Umar Bala, Accused Of Raping His Colleague’s Fiancée In Lagos by TheMostComplex1: 8:35pm On Jun 18, 2023
I will not entirely blame the girl because she may have been going to Bala house before the incident & she may also have been coming around to clean Petet's house while he's not around.

Judging by an incident that happened at Apapa police station where a friend spiked his friend's girlfriend's juice he gave her & raped her . The girl he raped was having issues with her boy friend & she came to plead with the boy friend of his friend to mediate & the boy offered her spiked juice & raped her & she reported the matter to the police & the parents of the boy were begging the police not to take the matter to court.

Everything smells like a fiancee who was caught cheating and decided to say she was raped. That was how my then University babe who contracted Gonorrhea from a guy lied that he raped her. I "forgave" her, bleeped her well for the next three years and dumped her ass. Reconnected with her after she got married and gave birth, and still bleeped her multiple times including when she was pregnant with her second child.

Once a cheater, always a cheater. I hope "Mr Peter" learns. If you like, forgive a cheater. Okafor's Law will always come into play.

✓ Entered a room to greet and decided to take alcohol that you claim dull your senses.
✓ Took alcohol with the agreement that a man will take you to your fiance's room to sleep. I thought she was about to leave. Now she is talking about sleeping over after taking the alcohol.
✓ A supposed fiancee started dancing with another man in a locked room.

Interesting, you slept with a married woman as if that was not enough you also slept with her when she was pregnant with a baby for her husband and you are proud of it ? ooh I see that's the reason sometimes i don't blame married women who cheat on their husbands because it's karma that is at work

Unfortunately, corruption in the federal public service doesn’t know tribe. When there is corrupt money to be made, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Ijaw, Kanuri etc all come together in unity to milk the system. Once you’re in on the deal, you in and when you’re not in, you’re not in irrespective of ethnicities.

If the names of those involved in the salary padding are released, you will find almost all
major ethnicities fully represented.

You're absolutely correct

Religion / Re: Mercy Chinwo Now Charges N10m To Perform In Churches – Rev. Fr. Oluoma by TheMostComplex1: 2:49pm On Jun 08, 2023
pocohantas:
So?
Nigerians paid KimK thousands of dollars years ago to visit Nigeria for 10 minutes. Wizkid and Davido have been paid more than 10m. Even Portable gets paid to sing and dance like a retard.

This act of expecting gospel musicians to swim in poverty has to stop. I am pleased with how they are driving fine cars and living in fine houses. It is good motivation for talents to remain in the vineyard. Else we would keep seeing people like Chidinma and Praise that started off in the church,
but entered street to make ends meet.

You are lucky I am not her manager. You would use Gwagon to come pick us from the airport. Churches would make money, but to pay instrumentalist na problem. Person go come use frustration dey beat drum. Cook food for their occasions and they won't want to pay. Decorate for them, they won't pay. Pastor come your shop, he won't want to pay.

Pay her 10m Oga or focus on your inhouse choristers and grow them. Mercy Chinwo started out from a church. Same with Sinach and co!

I didn't miss any point. Since it is the same song, the pastor should listen to his church choir. She is an entertainer and has to pay bills and maintain her brand and team. He can contest the amount, but I will never advise anybody to do things free for Nigerians, they won't appreciate you. Right there in his church there is someone that sings better, but they don't rate him/her.

Mercy Chinwo would pull crowd. Offering would increase that Sunday. Some people would come just because of her. That is brand and it comes at a cost! He should take out of the offering and payyyy.

people are just shouting they should increase salary as if people working under government are up to 40% compare to people working under private sectors. If they increase salaries of government workers, what will be d faith of people working for private sectors that don't have anybody to fight for them for minimum wages. I think government should also have an organization that will be monitoring these private company. Some of them are wicked and heartless to pay peanut salaries to their staff, and still over used them. Some of them will even owe them salaries and if u report to police, they may turn the case on u if they bribe the police. Nigeria needs total reform on private sectors also.

I don't think a Nigerian govt can do that because most private companies are doing things that the government should do for them on their own

waow, when real price come, they buy high and sell high... is a win-win for them , nigerians are bearing the pain not them. this is just s dividend of agbado government

You didn't understand him. A case at hand was when the $ was going up almost everyday , the prices of goods were going up too. So if a trader buys like a bag of rice for 50k & sells at 55k , on getting to the market the next day to restock the product the price has risen to 55k. So it's as if he didn't make profit that's what he was trying to say. Because the trader cannot spend the 5k profit and if he does he would not be able to restock.
