SH has an alglorithm used in calculating your performance/activities. my guess will probably be the number of names you have submitted & your increased acceptance rate.

You should note that lots of names fail the radio but end up getting sold. those are exceptions. SH is filled such names

It will be hard to advise because i dont know the name, going by the bolded & your colorful words of description such name shouldnt be available for hand reg or it is for a reason.

Have you checked for trademark?

Is the name in dot com?

Have you CAREFULLY & PROPERLY CHECKED that it is not a misspelling?

All those names are names rejected on SH.

On a more serious note: They both cater for a different cadre of endusers. BB is high end premuim marketplace. SH is low to moderate.

Most startup companies will use BB or go through a broker who will likely use BB & other highly curated marketplaces.

Its mostly individuals & one man companies that uses SH

It means 4 reviewers have seen the name, this does not show whether the name was voted YES by the 4reviewer or rejected.

If the name doesnt get a particular number of YES, it will be rejected.

when rejected, you will see the number of reviews it had & number of yes.

The screenshot shows 15 reviewers saw the name, only 2 voted YES.

I dont see any cons. You have to be good in brainstorming & coming up with names that matches what the contest holder wants.

Personally I look for contest whoose brief my names will be a match for.

sometimes the contest holder will list keywords they will like to see in the name, you take those keywords & head to expireddomains to search based on those keywords.

You can also get your premuim names sold in the process if the contest holder chooses your name as winner

Submitting names shouldnt be your 1st port of call, You should get an answer to your question of what makes a premuim domain.

If you dont know, going through any marketplace wont help because you wont know what to look for

There is a new development for previously rejected names on SH

Rejected registered names can be resubmitted after 2months

Rejected unregistered names can be resubmitted after 3months

If you submit a name that is currently on queue by another seller, you will get this "this domain has been submitted to the marketplace"

If you submit a name that was either rejected by SH or the submitter, you will get this "Sorry, it looks like this name was submitted less than 3months ago"

Unfortunately you wont be able to tell which of the names were rejected by SH or the seller, maybe the seller wasn't ok with the price or commission or had a change of heart.

You could save a list of those names and resubmit them or you register and list them in other marketplace.

This might be discouraging, I submitted 5names this morning and I got the "sorry, it looks like the names was submitted......."

Dont be discouraged, keep submitting names

You want to learn all about brandable, Dnacademy is a one bus stop. Though its expensive. my subscription elapsed in Febuary. I intend to do a lifetime subscription. The good news is that there is 50% for students. So if you are a student, submit the required documents and see if you qualify for the discount.

Please how do you determine your price for unregistered domain accepted by SH. I am thinking of changing my price from 1699 to 2999 so that my commission will be high but I don't know if the price is going to affect sales.

Regardless of the price you put there, SH has the final say for SH registered domain. Its in their T&C.

You can set an SH name for 2049 but SH can close the deal at any price without contacting you. You are only entitled to your commision of the final sale price.

You can increase the BIN price for your names or SH owned name because some end users will not bargain, they just hit the buy now button But when increasing remember SH is a low-moderate priced marketplace & you have plenty competing names. So dont drive your buyers to other names

Price your names moderately except Names that you know are worth the increase. A look through the revently sold names shows the average price is around 1199-1699.

Got this mail, today. I have 21names that will be expiring this month.

21 X $8=$168(N67,200) This is the amount i would have spent in renewing these names this month. Excluding the renewal amount for my other names that are on BB and other marketplace.

I choose the option of SH renewing the name and in turn I will accept a lower commission (22.5%) when the name sells

There is no exact time to give, it varies. when I joined last year, if I submit a name today, review will be ready the next day. Now it takes a longer time with some occasional speedy review time.

Experience has shown me that names submitted on Monday and Tuesday,will definitely get reviewed that week.

Thursday and Friday will get result Monday next week.

Wednesday can be that week or monday next week.

Sometimes Wednesday,Thursday,Friday will get reviewed that weekend but rare. Grant did say that they might stop weekend reviews.

This has been my experience, it might be different from others.

you only get a mail if your name is accepted, if rejected you dont get a mail. I usually advice people to always check their marketplace listing dashboard because there are times my name was accepted but I got no mail and that is dangerous for unregistered names because someone else might register it.

From the above, you see you might not need to lock your names in SH or BB. Sometimes the names might not be a fit for SH and BB because most of such names are Exact match domain.

You can list such names on non exclusive marketplace and outbound.

In all of this, due diligence must be performed by checking for trademarks.

Assuming the first one is already a working website, you can pinch the later to them through outbounding cause they know the second domain is already a competitor.

The fact is, sometimes you don't need to stress yourself with Brandable outbounding cause most of the domains are similar to each other. They are just different with keywords placements and Synonyms..

Example of brandables that are "outboundable"?

I wont give specific example but will give you an Idea.

There are 2keywords that can be an upgrade to existing 3keywords eg BlueOga in king
This can be an upgrade to

Blue-oga
myblueoga
theblueoga

Then there are times that Blueoga in king will be available for registration and a simple search will show that it is registered in other extensions. you can then outbound to those existing companies with other extensions.

The Big Question ?
Why will Blueoga in king be available for registration when it is existing in order extensions? Several reasons, The owner probably forgot to renew or the name was allowed to drop. sometimes the previous owner set a very high amount and Endusers lost interest. so the owner had to let the name go after holding it for long.

Sometimes when you outbound with a very high price, it can be a turn off for endusers and they will never respond again even if you offer the name for $100.

PS: For Newbies, in king means dotcom.

My experience with SH, I have submitted many names which they usually rejected and I still keep submitting it. My first name that was accepted like last week which is my first name on SH is "OrderReserve". The method I used to get this name is on SH. Am just checking the accepted names and I saw "ReserveOrder" and I changed it and it was accepted. And I even think my name is more okay than the person with the original.

Just came back from a ban. I really have to figure out what triggers it.

What you did here doesnt always work this way. This was an exception and it is not a good practice to be rearranging keywords like this but it is a start. Dont settle here

I am yet to make sales, 139 X $8=$1112(N400,000 using N360 as exchange value)

I would have spent a whooping N400,000 as renewal fees but because it is Squadhelp registered, zero registration fee for me but nice profit of a minimum of $299(107,000) per name, when it sells
