DeNoble001:OK |
meetme01:Only 20. lol I have 144 SH names now my total submission should be close to 900names. Do the maths & see how many names have been rejected. Dont get discouraged, keep firing I agree its frustrating but keep pushing |
Prazo1:Yes you have accepted, its waiting for it to be registered, i guess its SH registered When you start out, someone has to approve your name to be registered even though they have accepted the name. When your acceptance rate increases, I dont know the exact figure, Your names will be instantly registered once you hit the accept & publish button. You will get the notification when you are qualified for instant registration of names. If its taking too long, you can reach out to support, that the name is yet to be registered & you dont want to loose the name. That is if its an SH name |
Itimkpataka:when I coin a name, submit to SH & They register it, what will you call it? See why rudimentary knowledge is important? |
fasa199:Not really mood but off course in every line of work, some workers will be more skilled than others, this might come into play. SH can be frustrating, read my screenshots some pages back, that was my interaction with g Grant, I pointed out that their article on the kind of names they accept doesnt tally with how their accept or reject names. One sure thing is that we dont have the metrics they use in vetting names but i know for sure that, the kind of names that have been selling & the type of names that contest holders have been liking plays a role into their acceptance matrix. |
Prazo1:I dont get you fully but I hope you have accepted terms & clicked to publised. I have lost names because i didnt accept terms on time. someone else registered the name. |
Geofavor:It is not about deep pockets, its about our mindset on spending money on improving ourselves. It is few folks that have broken through that barrier. Some of us can sell a name for $1000 but will find it difficult to put $300 aside for a training program. I am aware that fake training might have contributed to this. On issue of names, Gems abound everywhere & not just on Auction houses. Some reported a sale of $8k on afternic, a name he bought for $100 or so. It is the skill to recognize such Gem that counts and that is what Dnacademy is all about. The platform also has a robust forum. If you want to subscribe you must be dedicated to learn & use the platform to its maximum potential. I couldnt achieve this because of work activities & that is why i want to do lifetime subscription, that way i can always make reference to it anytime. PS Checkout their videos on youtube channel, |
OYENIYIJK:This na your question naim you be dey speak spanish. 1.The person running justdropped has a similar service to ED, he gets his names, registers them and offer them at reseller price from $69-$500. 2. They probably listed it on Godaddy, just like SH, a name is available on premuim marketplace for end user and wholesale market for domainers. So before someone will buy for $69, maybe an end user might pick it up from Godaddy 3.Buying from justdropped takes you to their paypal processing page so there is no escrow. I havent bought from them, neither have i researched them, Due diligence should be performed before you buy from them. A good start is to search for justdropped reviews on namepros |
schullten:Its in your rejected tab, check very well. if you are using a PC, use Ctrl+ F search function and if using phone, use "find in page" Most likely, the name was submitted before by someone else and the name was rejected, it will appear on your rejected tab for the date it was previously rejected. eg I submitted a name on May 4th 2020, It was rejected and I saw it in my rejected tab, the added date was April 02 2019. |
OYENIYIJK:Please can you repeat this question in English? |
alawi5k:Real word domain names are single words, they are not hybrid, nor invented. eg mandotcom, lotiondotcom, bookdotcom etc Compound domain names can also be referred as 2 keyword domain names, they are two words brought together to form a compound name eg YouTubedotcom, FaceBook.com DropBoxdotcom etc |
justmykel:After 3yrs, SH will not renew the name, that means it will drop and become available for registration when grace period has elapsed EDIT After 3years you will be asked to change the renewal settings, if you dont then they will delist the domain name. The renewal settings will be you pay $10 and maintain the same 25% commision(this makes no economic sense) or pay $5 and use 500 points, same 25% (this makes no sense too). 3yrs is a long way to go, when we get to that bridge we will cross it. I will allow it drop and delisted, then register the ones I choose to register, that is if someone does not beat you to the name on ED |
Avast:Yes I have and it didnt lead to a sale. what it basically do is to move your domain to either the 1st page when that keyword is searched or category is searched. Imagine your name appears when searched around page 5. A boost will take it closer to page 1. In a nutshell, its meant to increase visibility of your name. its not every buyer that will have the patience to search for a name and browse to page 5 or 10. So if your name is on page 1 or page 2, it means more buyers will get to see it. There are 2 types of boost 1.Standard boost:This requires 500points or 1coin. This option will move your names by several pages but not to the 1st page. 2.Super boost:This requires 2000points or 4coins. This option will move your names to the 1st three pages. For both options, the boost will last for 7days. |
Prazo1:Brandnewname and Squadhelp opens your mind. Its an energy sapping exercise except you have a natural knack for puzzles. |
Prazo1:Yes you can |
SEYIKP:Maybe my opening lines was confusing, what I meant was I see people RUSHING to register names to make sales without learning the rudiments. Since you brought in bible, let me come in from that angle. I see people rushing for miracles without gettig to know the miracle giver & his ways. Is it clear enough? I am not a fan of "the end justify the means". I am no saint but i learnt how to apply brakes to names registration from the very begining. You will be amazed the total number of names in my portfolio. |
Eberechi24:LESSON 1:Never reveal an unregistered domain name unless you are willing to loose them. Always blur them out. LESSON 2: That SH rejected a name doesnt mean its a bad name, there are so many reasons. eg if SH has too many of such similar names, yours will be rejected, its no longer a matter of quality but quatity. This advice does not in any way validate the names you submitted. You were close with the 1st name.
|
Eberechi24:Explain further? SH cannot sell your name without you accepting to list it after approval. Did you click on accept in the "pending commision approval"? Have you checked "rejected" tab to see if the name is there? When you say status changed to sold, where did you see this? can you send a screenshot |
I see lots of folks rushing to make sales without laying the right foundation. Just like any craft, striving to be good should be the 1st way to go. I do hope some of them will not burn out. |
AnEsThAsIA:It appears you mistakenly clicked on the remove link. try submitting the name again and see or its a glitch on their part. I experienced this before and reached out to support, they had no clue what happened. |
Someone reached out to me for clarification on ACR column on EXpireddomains. wanted to know how to determine if the domain was previously parked or developed. I explained it in my book but let me throw more light. Picture 1 Shows my watchlist, the highlighted name shows that the Number of crawled results from archivedotorg is 123. when you click on that figure it takes you to picture 2. Picture 2 is the wayback machine:This is a digital archive of the world wide web. This column shows the number of saved pages that are available for a given name over a given period of time. This picture shows that 2011 and 2012 has lots of saved pages judging by the thick black lines as opposed to 2014,2015,2016 etc the latter dates will not have much results. For this illustration, April 16th 2012 was chosen to see what was on that page that day. Picture 3 shows the results and reveals that as at that date, this was a blog. sometimes you will see that the domain was parked, other times its a Chinese website even though the name has nothing to do with Chinese(His lordship Tranxo can shed more light on this). There are times you will discover that 2 or 3 different companies used the domain name at different times, until it was dropped, you can also find a name that shows a website of a functioning company or active facebook profile, this might indicate that they either let the name drop or forgot to renew. After due diligence is done, you can register and outbound to that company. Due Diligence entails but to not limited to Trademark, how many other potential companies can use the name as an upgrade etc
|
donsheva:That tells you the name was listed on that platform before, I cant tell if its premuim or basic/basic plus |
grandstar:Does year of 1st registration matter to an end user? A name registered 10years ago & dropped only to be registered last month will be a 1month old domain. The important question is how did the seller know the domain is aged? how did he know its 12years? The answer is what will determine the right reply |
Prazo1:I am confused, please help me out? Q1. Why did you submit Geodomain in a brandable marketplace? Q2.Why do you think .ca would have been better Q3.Have you seen any Geodomain listed on SH? |
DeNoble001:Yes, it is a mixture of both old and recently sold names. if you scroll down further, there is a dedicated Recently sold section |
Sakaslim:Average of 35days, It can be more. They are currently reviewing names submitted 13-14th of April. |
emkad:If you submit a name that is currently on queue by another seller, you will get this "this domain has been submitted to the marketplace" |
