Please what is the way forward with regards to the new regulation by CBN that only cash deposits into dorm account can be withdrawn across the counter and funds transferred to dorm account can only be transferred and cant be withdrawn across the counter.

so how do we withdraw funds transferred to our dorm account from skrill/payoneer?

Can someone confirm if there is a way of transfering funds from dorm to naira savings account?

Some BB sales reported Jan/Feb 2020 on BB slack channel. These names have been listed since 2015, 2016,2017. Domaining is investment coupled with patience. Imagine waiting for 5years for a name to sell. mind you, there will still be fantastic ROI

The problem I think is low self esteem. Even if you're not making up to that yet, you shouldn't because of that regard it as a huge amount. You should realize that you are too way below average.
You wouldn't understand until you lay your hands on that amount at once and see that it can hardly solve anything. How much will 70k do for you in a whole month? If you're eating good food, it might be enough for feeding alone. If you start including rent, maintenance, light bill, t-fare, etc., you would probably have to be drinking only garri everyday in order to cope. And, in this case, you would be far from being a "typical Nigerian'' or, put better, the average Nigerian.

Did you just ask how much will 70k do in a month? pls ask Npower beneficiary what 30k does for them?

Reputable service givers stick to their refund promise especially when you meet their T&C, some will even tell you "you can ask for a refund, if you aren't HAPPY with the training/program" with no questions asked.

He will then ask the girl to go withdraw cash and keep maybe the 3k or 30k for herself. it has happened several times. Alot of persons have found themselves in such problem.

There was a time, folks will beg to transfer money to your account on ATM queue (especially when the queue is hellish and long) so that you will withdraw your money once and give them their own. it is still happening till date.

Secondly, My goal/objective in this business is different from yours. Some folks buy names and hold it for years for it to appreciate before selling, you cant compare them with people that are in for quick flip. Some dont sell, they lease. So sales is not an indication of your skill/knowledge or how necessarily good you are.

What do you want? Find out what works for you and stick to it. make adjustments as you learn.

There was a month I made close to 200k on Slack channel selling accepted BB unregistered names. my point, There are so many road that leads to Rome.

It's 3days as earlier answered, it takes additional 3-5days for the transfer to be complete.

so for all my network solution names, I request for all codes & store them. I know they will write in the mail that, it's valid for 15days or so. but I have used 6months Auth code.

Still on Transfers, when you get a mail that a transfer request has been made & if they don't hear from you the domain will be transferred in a particular date(usually 5days after), To fast track it click on the link, it takes you to your registrar, confirm it & for some registrar, the transfer will be completed that day.

But Network solution will still take 3-5days

To buttress this point, take out time to go through SH contest, check the names that won and the description the contest holder put up.

Some of the names makes absolute no sense but it does to the contest holder. Thats why some domainers will never subscribe to SH because it doesnt fit the norm.

I think, GTBank is most efficient in my experience. I have recieved funds from Afternic with no issues. Its only the wait time for payment to be processed and scheduled that takes time. I usually use my Dorm Account. Payoneer to my Gt Dorm is very easy.

Zenith has too many protocols, they once withheld my funds sent by a friend, had to write a letter explaining my relationship to him, why he sent the funds. etc

Folks thinks appraising names is just from the top of your head. Appraisal is work!!! It invlolves search for past comparable sales record, search end user potentials, previous history of the name, meaning of name in common languages or in other languages, number of available TLD of the names etc

Excerpt you want someone to just give you guess work!! There is nothing wrong in seeking appraisal but it shouldnt be too frequent neither should it be requested with an attitude.

If it is unregistered, it will give you an error message when you want to submit it.

If you can't list at Godaddy how on earth would you now be able to know what's right to buy.

you type on google: inurl:*pay.com OR inurl:*courier.com OR inurl:paycourier.com

Any website with pay or courier or paycourier as a word in its address will appear in your search, this can point you in the direction of endusers, either websites with singular/plural versions of your name or hyphenated names etc you can then narrow which is applicable to you. Though the results can be enormous at times. An equivalent alternative is a paid service is Zfbot.com

Another is intitle:*pay.com OR intitle:*courier
This time it searches for the word pay or courier in the title of websites

Then there is crunchbase.com

Simply type in your keyword, DONT hit/click the search button, If your browser is compatible and your connection is fast, it will list a number of companies using that keyword name.

Guys, please what do you think might be wrong with Squadhelp? This week has been crazy for me on SH. SH had been aggressively and maliciously wicked. I have submitted over 30 unregistered names on SH but, all were rejected.
I am not much of a novice on SH, I have over 40 names, but names I expected approval from SH were rejected.


Is anyone experiencing anything similar?
Could it be that they don't want unregistered names again or I my getting something wrong now than before?
I even planned registering 500 names on SH this year, but now, 100 looks impossible?

Go thru your names, those that really stand out to you. Appeal them

Lastly that your names were rejected does not necessarily mean they are bad. Sometimes names are rejected because too many similar names are already in the marketplace

For those who have had decent sales experience with both brandables and geo domains, do you know that STEADY sales do not necessarily tell you everything about the quality of names you sold?

How, you may ask.

Well, how many times have you gone back to check up your sold names to see what their current owners are using them for?

1. Are they hosting completely new sites on them?

2. Are they redirecting them to existing sites?

3. Did they entirely replace existing sites that were hosted on less superior TLD with your names (.net to .com)?

4. Are they simply there without even a change in nameserver (No more interest, or fellow domainer)?

1-3 will give you a clearer picture about the type of names you should register more, and a better pricing system to adopt.

While IMHO, 4 reveals the type of names you shouldn't spend so much energy on (even if you sold them in the $200-$400 range). Remember the Pareto Principle.

This is the age of data. Let's start collecting and analysing these sets of data more closely.

Smart work WILL ALWAYS trump hard work, anytime, any day.

Ok after submitting my names about 10 of them to Brandbucket for review. I had to wait for 5weeks 4 days (39 days) to get a response from them and guess what all the names where rejected.
not recounting paying $1/each for the review.

it can be annoying considering the wait times, I submit more of unregistered names(sometimes while on queue, it gets registered by someone else)

My other strategy for BB is to comb through their barter sales channel on Slack. There are quality names there starting from $20-$1000.

Names that are already listed with long or short renewal date.

Then there are those selling accepted unregistered names too from $8-$50

This second option will save you the wait time.

Most SH accepted names get rejected by BB & vice versa. once To submit a name, I usually search BB, if there are no similar keyword or pattern, I dont submit.
