He should understand this: "The beautiful ones aren't yet born while the ugly ones refuse to die" ![]() |
I've not been around here for a while but seems like I'm back now. You didn't wish me a happy birthday but it's OK How's your weekend? |
Yes, everything about looks and Amaka jumps into the front seat to make comments. |
I don't believe in juju. If juju exists, let them multiply food and roads for us here in Nigeria with it.
Unfortunately, we Africans aren't progressive but retrogressive; we're not constructive but destructive. |
r231:There is ooooo!!!! See where you'll walk from California to Pennsylvania by feet and you'll get there in less than 10 minutes but you'll walk the rest in your dreams sha ![]() |
Posakosa, it's not brutal. April fool was the dealie. |
sweetpie23:You really wish you were that natural. . . but wait a minute you're mistaking crude for natural because I know for sure you're crude. Well, you get lots of compliments because they've seen your insecurity about your looks and you're being done a favor to refrain from committing suicide For f.uck's sake, I wasn't the one that rated you ugly, people called you ugly on the same thread your bored and lame a$$ created |
Have you witnessed these things before apart from hearsay?
100% witnessed!
Hmmmmmmmm. . . . .The shika ( seeker) Se omo odo agba ni e ni ? o ti ba gba je,o ti ba wo mu . . . . how do you know all these things ?
Omo oba ni iya mi, se o ti ye e nisin? |
I know who to bring to you to finish you off because you're not in my range, but well, a pro can give an underdog an opportunity to contend with him sometime. A chance was given to Rocky Balboa, so I don't mind giving you a chance to trade words with a star. Arrow!!! |
sweetpie23:You really don't want me to start with your ugly and petrifying picture, do you? I can understand why you're obsessed with other people's looks but you don't really have to hate, just shut up and try working on looking good for yourself. Only losers hate winners. |
^^^ Rita, you don kolomental. I did an April fool on my ex-girlfriend and told her I was sick in a hospital. She was living like 7 hours drive from where I lived then. She had to come all the way immediately to see me and when she got to my friend's house to ask my whereabouts, he brought her over to my house and met me playing scrabble game. It wasn't a funny scene to witness. |
And it is 'sweetpie23' again always trying to start controversy to form some sort of leverage of importance for herself, when will you leave picking on people alone? Leave the boy alone let him do his thing. Do you want me to remind you of that foolish thread you created about ugly people on Nairaland? |
r231:Yes, Yoruba holds rain for ceremonies if they want to, all they have to do is make some small pot filled with water, covered with a sort of roof and they chant their incantations and some have a relatively advanced method of stopping it. |
Where and how? Care to share?
The first one was in Ile-Ife. The woman had obviously been laced with the charm but didn't know (usually these women don't know). Soon as the man enters and came out, he started laughing, according to her, and he began to make acrobatic movies -- now this is a type of magun. The acrobatic move is supposed to be seven times and after the last one, the victim dies instantly. However, the acrobatic flipping occurred at short intervals from the other, say about two minutes between each move. The woman knew what was going on and rushed out to call people's help. Some elders right there came to rescue the guy but he had done five acrobats earlier. They asked the woman how many he's done but she didn't know since she had to run out to get help. The elderly men asked some other able-bodied men to hold him down so as to prevent him from doing further theatrics, before they could do anything he had done one more, but then everybody was scared to move any closer to him because he became very strong and uncontrollable. When they eventually moved to grab him after he had done one more in everybody's presence, he became very fierce and did the last one and died instantly! Do you also know that they have charms that you can place on your wife such that if any man sleeps with her, his cock will stick there and won't come out unless he comes with the antidote? I have seen that couple of times and heard it too from confirmed sources. But also I have to add that some people can sleep with magun-laced women without getting hurt because they have the immunity to detect where there is one and they can readily deactivate it but they MUST replace it when they are done. |
r231:Have you witnessed where thunderstorm was sent to kill someone before? You go fear juju! I just laugh in tagalog at those who think juju doesn't exist -- goes to show what dark side of life they live in. |
didnt you say you're not Yoruba? ![]() The taboos are in a book written by mabel Segun.
No, I'm not fully yoruba ![]() |
POSAKOSA1:If you see what I said earlier, I said DELIBERATELY! If you don't know about it, I don't think there are consequences. |
I'm checking out some Yoruba taboos right now and there's one which says yam must not be peeled inside the house. Any Yoruba person here should tell me if they've never peeled yam inside the house. some others: a wife must never allow her husband to see her eating. a child must not eat gizzard salt must not be trodden underfoot
Never heard about these before and where did you get your taboos from?
I don't have to try it in order to know that its an urban legend. There are many stories like that in and out of Africa and I do not expect people to believe them in this age and time. Is magun not another yoruba myth?. Do you believe there is anything like magun?. Have you witnessed magun in action before?
Yes, I have witnessed magun's actions twice. Now go on and ask me questions about it and I'll gladly wow you. |
if Godmother wanted her pic on display, i think she would have done so herself. thats pretty rude if you ask me. just taking someone's pic and posting it on this thread. gosh! some people on NL sef.
Shut up! Don't interfere in people's business. What's your business with Godmother's pic being posted by someone else? I asked him to post it, so what? Shut and mind your lane before you get hit in the back! ![]() |
I think females are born-cheaters! |
And have you tried to break any of them if you're Yoruba? |
Aloy, answer him. Have you tried it? |
^^^ Are you yoruba? Because if you're not, don't expect it to get to you if you've tried it before. |
POSAKOSA1:You have access to internet, google it and see for yourself. I'm not just spewing stuff about yoruba culture that I don't know, matter of fact, I know a lot more about your culture than you supposedly think you do, so get over it already and stoop to learn from people who know more about your culture. I'm still waiting for someone who knows much more about yoruba culture to dispute this but definitely not you because you're not in that line of people who have enough facts. By the way, maybe in your books thunderbolt (maagun) doesn't exist. |
POSAKOSA1:If you say you're Yoruba and have never heard this, you either must be very far from your folks or they haven't shared with you the depth of your own very culture. Who says it's rubbish? What do you know about your culture anyway? Abeg, go and sit down if you don't know what your culture stipulates. I'm still saying it that if you have sex with a woman carrying another man's child DELIBERATELY, you're into some serious shit that you won't get out of. Stop deceiving yourself saying it's superstition. Aloy, as for OBJ sleeping with his daughter-in-law, as far as I know, there's no consequence on that - not in the slightest so he may as well ride on and there's nothing occultic about it, there are many cases of such everywhere. Recently I was watching a Larry King's show on CNN and a woman was proud enough to say she's had sexual relationship with her father for 17 years, so what's new? |
In Yoruba it's not superstition. Most times, it is like this: If you sleep with a pregnant woman deliberately and you're not responsible for that pregnancy, you'll never be successful until that child starts making money on their own. But there's an exception to it if you don't know. However, you can break the code to sleep with a pregnant woman by wearing shoes with socks and sleep with her -- if this is done, you're free and no consequence. |
Chic2pimp, na lie? |
If only you knew the implication of marrying a pregnant woman in my land, then you wouldn't have asked. But there's no harm with it if I won't sleep with her sha; and if I know I can't refrain from sleeping with her while she's pregnant, I'll pass please. |
Lexi, if you find Gators wahala I no dey there oo abeg! ![]() Steeze, don't pay any mind to these girls running you down. The truth is you look good, but as for some of these girls running their mouth, their boyfriends are almost sharing the same resemblance with OBJ or Seal, yet they come here and brag as if their boyfriends are going to make Leonardo Di Caprio, Brad Pitt or David Beckham take the back seat! Bunch of noisemakers! |
spikedcylinder: No wonder what? And yes, I was born in October ![]() |
Because girls are the worst pretentious vultures. They always pretend not to want what they actually want. |
