Another Cr7 fan bororo way of thinking. Please tell me the record Maradona set 30-40 years ago that made Fifa and the world recognize him as the best player alongside Pele. When you are good you are good and no number of years that pass will diminish your legacy. And Op is even making it look like Messi doesnt have records when the most significant records are held by Messi. -Most world player of the year awards. -Most number of goals in a season. -Most goals in a calendar year. The above records show concentrated brilliance and not a record that can be just amassed through the passage of time like most international goals. OP thinks Man Utd fans represent the whole world. Majority of ex-players outside Man Utd and Barca and sports journalists already recognize Messi as better than CR. All Barca ex-players and fans consider Messi as better while there quite a considerable number of Manutd ex-players and even fans that see Messi as better. Same applies to Real madrid. What does the above tell you? that Messi has a wider base globally that recognize him as GOAT than CR. Those touting CR as better are the anomaly. |
Lol, problem of several English (esp ex-Man utd) pundits is that they are too quick to talk without deep reasoning. Shey Ronaldo did not make Man U weaker abi after being beaten by young boys, same team that Man Utd demolished previous season if we are to go by his logic? Messi that was the most threatening of all the front three players yesterday even though I agree that PSG's performance was subpar as a whole. But I remember that this same Club Brugge beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu last season. Experience should tell Owen that you can't assess the full impact of a new player after a single game. But he must sha do cho-cho-cho like his Man U counterpart Gary Neville. Only Ferdinand seems to be a reasonable pundit amongst those guys. No wonder Marca had to call them out. |
Saskay (acting like Wmoney): "Jaypaul, you see this Saskay girl ehn, hold am tight o, just continue doing what you are doing. No let them distrrract you from your goal, Chai if you guys born pikin eh, e go be macbook" ![]() This girl don see Mazi finish.. |
Saskay is really cracking me up with this WM persona she's playing.Maziskay! |

Op your smart TV should have a warranty nau if you bought it new. So take it to the place you bought it to claim repairs under the warranty. During the claim process, they will first assess whether it was damaged by an external factor e.g your friend, power surge etc, or whether the damage was follow-come. If they reject your warranty claim because of external impact, that means you have a solid case against your friend. |
Doesnt make sense. Equal pay huh? Tell me why a teacher or factory worker that works 7am to 7pm should not earn the same as a 9am to 5pm oil worker? It's simply because revenue generated in the oil industry outweighs other sectors. These feminists are now just forcing things. No one would say the female ballers shouldn't receive equal pay as their male counterparts if they generate as much revenue. I believe the principle is about equal pay under the same conditions. I believe in tennis, the pay gap between the male and female players isnt much at all due to similar public interest and revenues derived in both categories. |
jaxxy:They were not bringing Ronaldo down, they were only calling out Sky and other English media for going beyond the ethics of sound journalism to ass-lick a player. Marca did not lie in its article, it was Sky & co that lied and went over their heads. You yourself think about it. We know it's indisputable that CR is one of the best players of all time, but why would English tabloids be denigrating other Man U players as if they are trash just because CR is now there? Isnt this the same players that demolished Leeds United 6-0 or so without CR? and won a difficult game away against Wolves without him? Why throw all professional objectivity out of the window all because they are in love with CR? The only point you can pin on Marca here is that the style of expression was a bit all over the place rather than professionally concise, but despite that everything said there rings true. |
jaxxy:Marca is a Spanish tabloid long known for supporting Ronaldo and everything connected with Real Madrid. And they raised valid points. Why would a highly reputable media like Skysports outrightly lie or misrepresent statistics a whopping 3 times! just to project a particular player? That smacks of extreme unprofessionalism and I'm sure their management will be red-faced over the backlash from the PR debacle. |
Buhahaha, so the circus has been exposed by Marca, a tabloid that is known to support CR and everything associated with Real Madrid. Lewandowski has 10 goals in his last 6 games. Halaand has over 6 goals in his last 3 games, Mbappe has 4 goals in last 3 games, Benzema has 4 goals in last 2 games, Lukaku has the same 3 goals in last 2 games as CR, yet Man Utd fans and Gary Dumbville were doing as if Ronaldo's exploits were a never seen before phenomenon with pundits throwing objectivity out of the window and projecting outright lies!. Excuse me, at 36 years of age Quadrigella scored 36 goals in Serie A in 2019 to trump the younger Ronaldo, yet there was no hype. CR's impact at Man U will be judged at the end of the season and not after 3 goals against sub-par opponents. For now, he isnt even among the top 5 strikers in Europe. Pendumbos in the mud ![]() |
FirstbornWds:I wanted us to score sha to compensate the Camp Nou fans. Let whatever will happen happen, at least no be new thing. As it is now, we and Arsenal dey same WhatsApp group and who knows for how long? |
Neimar:More like teenage farmers |
FirstbornWds: , Finally, I saw something to make me laugh on a very pitiable night!Bayern f*ck up I swear ![]() |
Despite that we were mostly playing within our half with a lot of bodies, there was still a hole between our defence and midfield and it was this hole that Muller exploited and he had all the time in the world to take aim, although lucky. But I can say Bayern made their luck happen. Our midfielders are being too slow and leggy to track back and assist the defence to mark Bayern players. I guess its same old same old. It's hard to be optimistic to be honest but slim chance still dey. First step to recover is to haul off that Luke de Jonzing and replace with Coutinho. |
And this Musiala guy is of Nigerian heritage o. Guy is a bomb and one of the hottest young prospects in Europe. |
FirstbornWds:Lol, true o. Looks like this Luke de Jong guy is already minus one. Never seen a player so slow and ponderous running in slow motion. |
How come this Luke de Jong is so slow! Like a snail! |
Barca is standing strong so far, matching Bayern toe to toe. Me likey the spirit!. |
Boys are impressive so far. Me likey the spirit. |
Sadio Mane is currently on 99 goals and will soon join Salah as the third African EPL Centurion! The "Big Yak" Aiyegbeni was so unlucky to end his career up at 99 EPL goals. He would have been the first African to reach 100 goals. |
Kingcalls, na Messi matter go kill u las las buhahahaha , jumping on every Messi thread to moan like a dog in perpetual heat. Isnt this the same thing you accuse Paulolee or Ojeemah of doing to CR, and yet hypocritical you can't do without Messi . Shame suppose catch you leave this thread. The conversation is for real Ballon D'or contenders and not over-hyped primadonnas. Pls wait for, or create a thread for your fave's category . |
Chai, WMoney don suffer o. Queen is stylishly saying he isn't attractive to her. It's obvious Cross has a better chance of f*cking queen before WM will get a deep kiss. |
tctrills:Let me chip in my own understanding. The verses you quoted are simply showing the unity of mind between God and Jesus while he was on earth. Every "work" Jesus did on earth was based on instruction/approval/insight/revelation from God his father. That is why he expressly stated "I and my Father are ONE". It is about Father and son sharing the same purpose of mind but the info flows from the father to the son which is why he referenced his father doing the works first in the spiritual realm. But to say God had also died first somewhere is a misinterpretation of those verses. There was a separation between God and Jesus on the cross when he cried my father why have you forsaken me, meaning he was left alone to carry the burden cos at that point he had become sin which the father could not connect to again (a verse says he was made sin). At that point, Jesus was in uncharted territory which is why he was elevated back to God's side upon his resurrection for achieving something so difficult. |
ALEXAPLAYME:Rest. Even if they beat us, I'd expect a much slimmer margin, not 7-1. So long as Dest and Semedo don't play sha . |
devvy44:By the way, hope you enjoyed that magical goal you watched. Glad that Messi could give you premium entertainment but unfortunately, I couldn't get similar value from watching Ronaldo's highlights over the past few games. |
devvy44:What Messi is already above cannot pain us. Are we pained that Lukaku scored 2 finer goals against Aston Villa, a much better team than Newcastle? If Lukaku's better game is not paining us, why would I be bothered about an opportunistic brace against a relegation team. Isnt CR a good striker again? Wo, deviant abi whatever your name is go and sit down. E get wetin go pain person wey we go admit but no fit be this one lai. Dont worry you'll know real pain when 7th Ballon D'or arrives. |
Raalsalghul:Lol, na so the standards of you pendumbos low reach? Because he scored a mundane brace against a relegation team like Newcastle, same team wey Westham beat 4-1 less than a month ago. If Messi scores a double against this Newcastle, I can't imagine myself dissing CR cos of that. No be this same Man U beat a better team like Leeds 6-0 couple of weeks ago? I even think that without CR, Man U could have won this match by a higher margin. |
Raalsalghul:When he plays na. Oga o, put on some thinking cap na. Person wey just come back from South America today wey no dey match na hin you wan make him score? |
My policy is to only lend out money to people/friends that I know are gainfully employed and have the capacity to repay. My friends/acquaintance who are hustling and come to me for loan of anything above 40k, I politely tell them I have pressing needs that has used up any idle cash I have. But I will still go ahead to assist them with not more than 20k as gift not loan. I tried to understand people's psychology of why they dont repay loans especially hustlers. I noticed that once they see that you are well off and have borrowed from you, even when they now have capacity to pay, they'd think that you dont really need the money since you are still having regular cashflows. So they start avoiding you. Another reason is that there are some people who had bad experience lending money to friends who didn't repay, when things go south, they also then start to borrow without having intention to repay cos they feel they've earned the right to default. So anyone who comes to me, I try to assess the psychology behind that person's need. Not 100% failproof but still effective for the most part. |
Zlatan wey no even good reach Thierry Henry, Lewandoski or Van Basten. Anyway his confidence is admirable. If to say na alien Messi get Zlatan's mouth lasan, omo this world no go rest at all, even CR will run for cover. |
Even Italian league players recognize Messi as the GOAT despite a pretender playing with them for 3 years. Na only ManUtd fans dey deceive themselves. Even Madrid fans don fall in line. More wailings to come by 7th Ballon D'or. |
OJEEMAH:I'm cool bro and looking forward to relaxing this weekend. Though not happy that GOAT wouldn't play for PSG tomorrow cos he'll arrive from national duties too late. |
