That was a very good one from Iwobi. Zaidu needs sense in crucial offensive moments. |
Amotolongbo:Irrelevancies. I have made my points based on the facts which seem to be above your head. Na you dey calculate 70%, 10 minutes and what have you not ![]() This is a friendly o lol. |
AImiron: I agree say the matter dey irrelevant. But they wan use am run agenda against Messi which is why I'm here to burst their mumulicious bubble. That fanbase has been so starved of bragging rights that they are now clutching at straws. Imagine them bragging with South Africa win over Morocco. |
Kenmatt:They smacked Man Utd home and away in UCL. They will destroy Norwich. An MLS team Minessota whipped Everton 4-0 in a friendly. Is MLS better than EPL?
|
Amotolongbo:All these your subjective shalayes cannot override the facts which are that: - with Messi on the pitch Al Hilal were playing 3-3 with Miami and could not win. He chipped in with a goal and assist. - with Messi brought on after 6-0 scoreline, Al Nassr could no longer increase their tally. Obviously Messi makes the difference in that shitty Miami team. By the way, an MLS team Minnesota beat Everton 4-0 in a friendly, so why dont you say MLS is better than the EPL?
|
Amotolongbo:Lol you wish. I'm not assuming. The fact remains that Messi was not on the pitch when Miami shipped in those 6 goals. Your screenshot proves that. Messi was only introduced for final few minutes to fulfill contractual reasons to their Saudi hosts cos he was still nursing a minor hamstring. Do you think it's a coincidence that Al Hilal also could only score their winning goal vs Miami after Messi was taken off the pitch. Fact remains with Messi on pitch, neither of Hilal or Nassr could win or score. Better stop masturbating over nothing. |
Amotolongbo:Saudi league remains a walai talaì league. Inter Miami is the worst club in MLS. They get beaten by four, five goals plus by good MLS teams. It's like the Norwich city of the MLS. Al Nassr is one of the top 3 in Saudi. That's like a Liverpool level. You cannot use Miami to test the strength of Saudi league. It's like matching up Norwich vs Galatasaray and saying Turkish league is better than EPL when Norwich gets whooped. If anything, the fact that Messi was able to drag such a shit team to a trophy is the 8th wonder of the world. It shows Messi's impact on a dead team. Messi came on for the last 7 minutes and suddenly Nassr could not threaten or score a goal again. Meanwhile Al Nassr was as impressive as ever without Ronaldo anyway. It's a meaningless match for Messi. Ronaldo and co can enjoy this win as their W cup trophy ![]() |
The first of many to come...at least a silver lining to look forward to. VR's future is bright. |
Did they swear for De Jong to not shoot even when great open opportunities present themselves? Kilode gan!! |
Lol okay. Ronaldo should go ahead and use South Africa mocking Morocco as his World Cup trophy. He now has a World cup! Idiotas |
MAYOWAAK:Really? I remember this was the tournament where Sinema Pongolle and Le Tallec of Liverpool first shone through with 9 and 7 goals respectively for the victorious French team. Unfortunately, their careers never really took off after then. On Nigeria side, there was Femi Opabunmi with 5 goals and his success in that tournament was why he made the 2002 World Cup team under Coach Onigbinde. |
If Victor chases your girlfriend, just forget it. ![]() |
Jeezuzpick:Pius Ndiefi, short and thick like an Iroko tree. He looked like a stocky wrestler turned footballer. He was also skillful. Very scary guy. |
Madeu:Well, Iwobi still had a hand in the second goal even though several of his plays were annoying. Cut the coach some slack please. |
Thinking of it, it's been a long long time since Nigeria has had a very good tactically sound defence as in this tournament. They restricted Cameroon to the extent that those ones did not have a single attempt towards goal. No scoring chance for the entire game. An excellent defence can win you a tournament. In the front Osimhen and Lookman high pressed and defended like mad men. When shaky Uzoho came in, the defensive unit came together and shielded him from exposure to Camerounian shots. Vincent Abubakar was rendered useless. Not sure he even touched the ball. Great work by the boys. Peseiro has done a wonderful job so far. |
Finally A nail to their f*cking Cameroonian coffin! Thanks Lookman for the brace. Only thing left is an Osimhen goal. By the way, Iwobi is blind. Nothing anyone can tell me otherwise. |
What did Iwobi just do? Can u imagine |
That cameroonian guy deliberately injured Wabali bobo because it was a G.K's ball and he had no business getting there. Chai so Uzobasket is coming in... Anyway the basket is closed for today. Nothing for the Camerounians. |
Osi bobo That's what I'm talking about. 200% commitment. He is a special kind of striker. |
sucess001:Ajayi was farther than the G.K when the shot was taken and only the Cameroonian player was further than him. Football rules require that at least 2 opposing players must be in front of the attacking player for him not to be offside. In this case, the Cameroon player on the line is like the G.K, while the G.K is like the last defender. It should be clearer this way. |
Gol Gol Gol ball Na oversabi kill the Cameroonian G.K jumping about like kangaroo. Modified: offside wow. |
Angelfrost:💯 bro. I can even overlook Arya Stars error because she has apologized which shows it was a momentary indiscretion on her part. But you see the ones who are still egging on and supporting her gaffe are the irredeemable dimwits. Numbskulls who project dumbness with confidence, thinking they make sense but not knowing they are a laughing spectacle. Imagine them asking who culture epp? Let them work in international teams and go and tell their Chinese and Japanese colleagues that their culture of respect is unimportant. Tell the English that their prim and proper dispositions and mannerisms are to be disposed of like a piece of trash and see how idiotic you'd look. Let a young guest insult their grandfather at home in their presence and they should not react or call out the nonsense because "dollar is now N1450". Bunch of airheads. |
She messed up. KSA even bowed for her in courtesy but she just stood upright and stretched her hand towards him like she was some Queen of England in utter disrespect of the legendary musician. Meanwhile Wizkid went on full prostration for KSA when they met. That's someone who acknowledges the importance of respect to legends African style. Many people here who cannot even attempt to stretch their hand to greet their grandfather at home will be supporting Ayra's disrespect towards a legendary grandfather KSA. If a young guest insults their grandfather at home in their presence, they should please not react or call out the nonsense because "dollar is now N1450". Rubbish. |
Moses Simon has zero confidence to shoot the ball even when in 6 yard box. Its shocking. All the other players except Osimhen shoot like ladies. In Osi's case, he shoots wayward. That's why we have been unable to score from open play. Chukwueze has been a massive let down. Cant dribble his marker, can't put in a decent cross, can't shoot, can't even pass well. What the hell is he doing there? There was some dodgy hesitant defending by Ajayi and our right back. Iwobi was just disappointing. I expected him to impose himself in midfield connecting with the strikers once he was brought in. He did nada. Nwabili was surprisingly shaky with his shot stopping today. What a disheartening victory. |
raumdeuter:Daniel Akpeyi former G.K. |
Our G.K has not been convincing with his shot stopping in this match at all. |
Why are our players unable to strike the ball well? See that Guinea Bissau striker the way he lashed the ball emphatically now. |
Angelfrost:Nah that's not terrorism. I agree about the security lapses part though and to be candid na God's hand we just dey. Terrorism is a deliberate act, not accidental like in this Ibadan case. |
Jovi10:Salah may have more G/A this season but Kudus isnt far behind in stats and when you watch Kudus goals quality and overall impact at Westham you'd see he's been more electric than Salah. This game is another example. Salah's G/A has been glossing over his dwindling form and core Liverpool fans will tell you this. |
Jovi10:Forget, Kudus is hotter than Salah atm. Salah is riding on experience and pedigree. But on pure raw form, Kudus is Him. |
This Kudus guy is currently Africa's best player on form in the past 4 months. He is unstoppable at the moment. |
Flows001:I felt the same way too lol It's all good |
