Commendable. But really they should also flood the system with forex to address the supply issues and reduce pressure on the naira. And while at it, the CBN should also remember to regulate itself, the banks and engagements with politicians as they are the biggest culprits putting pressure on the naira through the same BDC racketeering. |
The only part of this post I don't agree with is involvement of traditionalists (1925 - 1945) in the workplace. We are talking of people 80yrs and above. These would have long retired. Even Baby boomers (1946 - 60) are mostly no longer part of contemporary corporate workforce as they've entered retirement age. Corporate workforce nowadays is mostly Gen X, Millenials and Gen Zs. Baby boomers are mostly into management of their post-retirement investments or store ownership. Traditionalists are waiting for final exit call. Gen Z's mostly lack the rigor that drive achievement of quality results. If previous generations were superficial like that then the level of global development in all sectors would not have reached current levels. |

Lol, this in fact shows the economy affects him very well. He's buying those foodstuff in bulk now before naira plunge destroys his purchasing power completely. What is he doing with over 10 bottles of morning fresh at a go? Na plate washing factory? Imagine showing off over an economical decision. |
The mansion looks more like a Californian Beverly Hills styled property. Doesnt appear like the typical ostentatious Nigerian mansion. Pardon my superstitiousness, but is it a coincidence he frequents Cali a lot and eventually died there? |
Tallesty1:Konjified Trespassing |
franchasofficia:Wrong. Aina was culpable only for the second goal. The first goal was from a corner kick and it was Nwabali who was mainly at fault for coming out of his line half-heartedly and exposing his near post as a result. Then he also should still have saved the header but the ball squirmed through his palms. Zaidu was also partly liable for the first goal as he left Kessie free to head the corner. We mainly lost because our midfield was non-existent, thereby putting undue pressure on the full-backs and goal keeper. The tactics employed by Peseiro was wrong, hence I'll put the loss on him. |
Chai |
Poor passing from Aina. Our boys are looking tired and leggy already. What happend na |
ThierryJay:I just said it. Zaidu was supposed to mark Kessie but left him free. He's been a calamity joor. Our boys now need to react. They need to show the energy they gave all through the knockouts. |
I just pray Zaidu makes it through this match without a major blunder. He's been almost caught out couple of occasions. |
Oh boy. It's not over o. The night is still long. Our defenders are a bit shaky tonight. Bassey, Zaidu & Aina have shown lapses. Bring in Simon & change formation to 5 - 3 -2 or 3 - 4 -3. |
killsmith:Yeah. Good for Mourinho, Chelsea & the Super Eagles, but: ...the Barca way of winning remains the best. |
affable4:I hope so. Nigeria's tally let's be exact. |
Numerouno94:Omo I get stand for here gidigba. We go celebrate this trophy together ![]() |
Angelfrost:As in ehn, I now understand how Chelsea fans dey feel playing under Mourinho those years. Na just to close eye sleep while Barcelona and Bayern play their lives scatter and na Chelsea go dey count goal. As a Chelsea fan, you no even need to watch match na result sure to collect. Chai, so na una enjoyment be dis all those years. Monkey dey work na baboon go dey chop ![]() |
mrwilliams9:I agree. Our midfield has collapsed and Osimhen, Lookman and Chukwueze are suffering for it. |
I don't understand this our BOOM the ball to Osimhen football style o. Surely we can do better than this. |
EKONGOOOOALLL!! First shot on goal, First goal! Player of the tournament for me In Nwabali's voice: "We'll f^ck them up here" By the way, starting Chukwueze over Simon has been a blunder. Chukwueze lacks that thrust and energy that Moses Simon brings. |
Easily Argentina vs France WC final 2022. The swap in emotions from joy to anguish to relief then disbelief and finally ecstasy was incredible! Liverpool vs Barca 2019 was a very bad one for me. But it was more of sadness than tension cos firstly I didnt believe we could allow lightning strike twice in less than a year and then Liverpool struck quickly in succession in the second half to wipe off Barca's advantage so the tension was brief but replaced by hopelessness. |
Messi owns the streets of the Middle East even though he doesn't play there. Imagine Al Nassr fans were chanting Messi Messi after he was brought on late in their game against Inter Miami even when winning 6 -0. Most of them came to watch Messi during the tournament. Ronaldo no dey attract pass 40 - 80 fans during Al Nassr's regular games. E sure me say if Pendu wasnt in this game, Al Nassr would have probably gotten something from the game. He makes them worse based on their match vs Inter Miami. But arrogance no go allow am see road. Ronaldo? Airport that way........ ![]() |
matify83:Actually, the incidence occurred before the elections. Video was first shared during the campaigns. So, at the time, they were not denigrating the office of the President.
|
1nice:The video is truly real but an old one. It took place before the elections. I remember the video was first circulated during campaigns, balablu, townhall and all that. Bringing it up now is just propaganda.
|
ddippset:You re right Couz. I remember Sampdoria terminated their player Ahn Jung Wan's contract because he scored the winning goal that eliminated Italy from the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Guy could not return to Italy after the WC. |
Jokerman:Lol you've shifted from what CR7 cant do to opposition round of applause. Well to burst your bubble several players have received appreciation from opposing fans including Messi (Betis & national opponents), Iniesta (RMadrid), Modric, Henry (Fulham) & De Lima (Man utd). In fact, Al Nassr fans were still chanting Messi, Messi and hurraying at every touch of his on the ball despite the 6 - 0 scoreline and much to Pendu's chagrin. He couldnt understand how Messi owned the Arabian streets even on his own territory. Henry's solo goals vs Liverpool & R Madrid. Ronaldo has never done such single handed artistry vs that level of opposition. His best high profile goal was the Bicycle kick vs Juventus which is a finishing goal and replicated in same campaign by Bale, and several others before and after. |
AImiron:Peter Crouch don tell them before. Once you say Pendu is better, him go immediately downgrade your IQ. |
Jokerman:Hmm. Ronaldinho vs Chelsea UCL 2nd round 2005/06. Bamboozled a solid wall of Chelsea defenders Terry, Carvalho & co through sheer force of will and scored a great solo goal. Same Dinho vs Chelsea 04/05. Befuddled the Chelsea parked bus defence with Samba dance moves before chipping an hypnotized Petr Cech from 20 yards. Dinho vs Madrid 05/06 solo goal, Dinho vs Gattuso leg over spin and outrageous assist to Giuly in UCL semi final. Pendu has never and cannot replicate these levels of magical artistic moments against such high profile opponents. He doesnt have that level of talent to pull it off. You really overrate this guy. |
AImiron:Lol you gat no chill with Pendulums. Me I just dey happy as they are triggered. Next time they compare Pendu to Messi, I'll remind them to settle with Hazard first. That's their level ![]() |
Jokerman:I agree with your list and would only add Cryuff and Di Stefano. But Hazard did admit that Pendu is greater than he is na. Why are you ignoring that part. He is only claiming the pure football aspect you know .Just like Giroud can wake up one day and claim he is better than Messi in heading football. Leave pure football for Hazard abeg ![]() |
Jokerman:Lol am I Hazard? On a serious note, whenever they say a player is talented, the number one and most common metric is dribbling esp the effective one. Then comes technique, the flicks and tricks/exceptional ball control, then pace, then passing, shooting, judgement/ball sense and so on in that order. Most of the young early prodigious talents in football were mostly picked out because of their effective dribbling e.g De Lima, Maradona, Robben, Messi, Dinho, Neymar, George Best and even young Pendu himself. My personal opinion: In effective dribbling Hazard was better than Ronaldo. While in flicks and tricks and all the other parameters, the pre-30 yrs Pendu was better. But I suspect that in Hazard's dictionary, the pure football he referred to was dribbling ![]() |
Jokerman:Oh oh You see the same way you and your ilk are triggered about Hazard's claim is the same way we feel when you guys start to compare Pendu with the GOAT.And oh, there really is a case to be made that Hazard was more talented than Pendu. At least he was a better dribbler than even Prime Pendu. His solo goals were better than Pendu's. So, some facts do support his claims even if he was shit at Madrid. Don't cry o ![]() |
AImiron:And your cooking bad gan. Dem go roast well I'm good bro. Happy new year too. |
