They have specific fees you'll be asked to pay when you want to start constructing, this will be sorted out through your agent or lawyer or whoever representing you.

Has any architect taken over your job? you've been making this allegations lately, unfortunately in Nigeria no professional is guilty of what you are talking of like the builders themselves, so i am wondering what your point is. Ask any builder around he will tell you he is an architect, an engineer and a builder all put in one. Really I am surprised at your accusations.
Nobody here really knows it but a tip here a tip there can always make a difference, so I'll advice you get yourself more useful to us by enlightening us more about things we need to know or whats the point of coming here if we can't get our questions treated.
But if an architect had taken over your job before accept your errors and learn to move forward.

I think all the places mentioned are ok but Lagos seems to have an edge over the rest.

Rates a high in abuja quite alright but the rich people that will rent them aren't as much, so except for the few well to do most of the people working in Abuja are in the outskirt where rents are relatively cheap.

These guys you don't want to spend money yet you want to always go for the costliest and best materials. It won't add up, for a 7 bedroom duplex with the kind of materials you have don't be surprised you will spend up to that amount.

It is laughable how Nigerians condemn people back home and instill unnecessary fear in those that are coming back to the country. Others are talking about their bad experiences but I think the issue of having a bad time in Nigeria when you come is been overblown most of the time, not every of your relatives will need your money before they can survive and don't be surprised some of them may be far well off. Your area depends on nearness to your office or where your business will be. There is no part of Lagos that you can't get fairly good environment you can stay.
Close to every area there are always good and well planned estates around so I'll advice to come for two weeks move around and decide where you'll stay and most convenient.

@ajileko, thanks so much for your observations, concern and willingness to help, you see just like every gullible internet entrepreneur newbie I fell for the scam common to webhosting company promising you free domain if you consult them, so when I wanted to open the site I had very limited knowledge on website and its administration so it was easy for me to fall for it, the host has the domain details and all stuffs hence they keep suspending my account at the slightest opportunity.
The day my registration expired the first year, I paid for the renewal on that very day, you know what I was suspended for waiting till the last day before I paid. I had to visit their office before it was restored, they don't give notifications for anything untill you open your site and find out your site was not on infact I discovered this one when I went through this thread. Their server crashed last year for one and half month no apologies, and the pains has continue but I have asked them to point the name to another server that has been done so it should be up before you read this.
Funny enough the webhost is very well knowned in Nigeria.
But plan on the for a permanent solution.

Hi want to find out this, do you have to pay a fine to a webhost you didn't send mails on their server, but got a complaint from a third party that you are spamvertising?
Can you be suspended that way without been informed ? even when is clear you aren't involve in any criminal activities.

In Nigeria most iron rods reseller will not even give you a rod as long as 12m so my resolve to use 11m that is the minimum lenght no matter how you're been shortchanged, I wrote something about this on the book you are to download on my site. The calculations aare based on 5 tonnes.
