Tell me, would you have typed this if it were the bride who was caught cheating with a stranger? Would you let the bride off the hook to concentrate on the stranger who couldn't care less about the marriage? The fact is, if the lady in question was single, then she wasn't answerable to anyone. While she was wrong to have slept with the groom, the moral obligation was on the man to respect his relationship.

A fellow man messed up, let's accept it and criticize him. This attempt to blame women for everything while treating men with kid gloves is embarrassing. You'd end up presenting men as brainless entities that just go in any direction they're pulled. Just saying.

I only chose to address the other woman in this case because of the peculiar situation. She went to a groom's wedding to sleep with the groom! I would not even have bothered with the other lady if he had gone to meet her at a hotel.
I already called the groom a fool because his own case is a case of insanity.

@second bold,yes I would have addressed the strange man more if he had come to meet the bride at her wedding.

I'm careful to use 'some women' or 'you' when I address situations.I deal with each situation on its own merit.

Ignore many comments on Nairaland deriding women.Many of them are from kids.

I've seen some men state they do not want to marry highly educated women because they feel she'll butt heads with them and be too opinionated. So instead they feel lowly educated women make better spouses and opt for them instead.

Now when these men have daughters, they wouldn't want her to have little to no academic education, they'd want her to make the most she can of herself. They might even call her lazy or unambitious if she decides not to pursue further or higher education.

Well,the men who don't want highly educated women either have an inferiority complex or a fear of not getting it right in their marriage based on what they have seen in other marriages.
Of course no sensible man will not want his daughter to attain the greatest height of education.He will also try to raise her with virtues of humility, selflessness and love.What she does with her life in the future is in her hands.

My brothers have left home to learn trade before I was born. I never ever lived with them pass two weeks that they spend at home whenever they come home for any reason.

I don't have any memories shared with them. The age difference is pretty much.

So, you see that it's not necessarily because we have bad blood within ourselves, it's just that there was never any bond and they are more like uncles to me than brothers.

I am just thinking why some mothers are so bold and domineering in their daughters' marital homes. Their decisions tend to be stronger and more forceful as they are more influential than the mothers of their sons-in-law. What should be responsible for this? They can easily pack into their daughters' homes without prior information unlike the men's mothers.
