sheunfemix: Please dnt try vaseline @ all. It will clog the pores in the baby's head leading to hair loss. I didn't have anyone to advise me on that. My baby got serious hair damage. Untill a Doc told me to simply use coconut oil and castor oil. Google them and u will see. The works of coconut oil in the hair is superb. Twill be shiny and bouncy. Thank me later cheesy
I didn't say petroleum jelly but the oil.
You're right though about the coconut oil.Natural products are better.

Jesus already said,....I will say unto them,I never knew you, depart from Me ye workers of iniquity'.

Vaseline baby oil is just ok.The kind of soap you use also matters.

Babies really don't need all the products overzealous parents want to use.

Afam4eva,otijah,sunshinelady and all those saying why her, what about the others?

She was not just a doctor, she was a consultant. She was the head of the medical team and was in charge of the patient. Her expertise and experience was the reason why they found out the patient had ebola virus disease. When he presented at the hospital,he was being treated for malaria until Dr Adadevoh took over and made further investigations. She also ensured he did not leave the hospital. The other doctors might have discharged him.She made calls to other institutions, other consultants and Lagos state officials to ensure the best outcome.

I'm not saying the others should not be recognised but she was the one who gave others instructions on management. She was their boss.
You can't compare a consultant to a nurse.

Ladies feel that it is easier for a man to accept her with a girl than with a boy when going into a new relationship.

atbu1983: God is d same yesterday, today and tomorrow. What you are calling light is actually darkness. When d focus of our christianity shift from both spiritual and physical righteousness to just an assumption of spiritual righteousness as long as we meet our greeed. That is not a light shining brighter. it is a mirage. d true light is getting dimer.
The gospel is what I call the Light. You being the Judge of the universe has decided it is darkness. Please further explain to me how the true light is getting dimmer(if the true light can ever get dimmer)?

You've got it twisted.Your argument is from a position of your impression of some pastor's doctrines.
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Says Christianity Is Not A Religion? by thorpido(m): 7:22pm On Sep 23, 2014
hifaif: But generally, Christianity is still a religion.
As seen by you and many others.
Like i said,it depends on what you use to view the Light.
The bible talks about '....shining brighter and brighter until the perfect day'.That means the way it is seen now is not the way it will be seen tomorrow because it would have appeared brighter.
It's all about the level of knowledge.

LMAO.You are not harsh. You have a responsibility as the head of your house to lead your family right most especially your daughter.
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Says Christianity Is Not A Religion? by thorpido(m): 6:58pm On Sep 23, 2014
hifaif: So what is Christianity?
Christianity is a relationship with God.Jesus brought us into that relationship through His sacrifice that brought us into oneness with God and gives us the right to call Him Father.
No religion has God as Father(and rightly so because no religion can).

A simple way i can explain this is to look at what exists between an earthly father and his son.The son does some things for the father like greeting him every morning(if yoruba, going to prostrate),sometimes go and sit to chat with him, make requests from him etc.Is this kind of relationship called religion? The fact that some of these activities are cultural, routine and predictable, does it make them religious?

I can understand where you are coming from. You have issues with some pastors especially Pastor Chris as you mentioned.I want you to know that the gospel is bigger than pastor Chris or any pastor. It's about the light of the gospel. That light shines but everyone does not see it in it's true brightness. Some see it as dim while others see it as a bright light and yet some see it as a burning light. We do not all see it the same way.
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Says Christianity Is Not A Religion? by thorpido(m): 5:11pm On Sep 23, 2014
atbu1983: All u said is just academic argument. I am a christian. Christianity is a religion. Because d decision to accept Jesus christ as our lord and savior is an active individual decision. That is y every believer is referred to in d bible as brother and sister. Which means as christian you are in a fraternity led by christ. You are separated from d world. You belong to a group. thus makes christianity a religion. What do u want to achieve by saying christianity is not a religion. What does it change apart from self serving gradiosity of superiority complex which is not of God but mere rhetorics
Many go to church, yet do not understand what they believe.
The disciples of Jesus were with him but did not even understand his doctrines and what he stood for for the greater part of His earthly ministry until Jesus told them the Holy Spirit will make many things clearer after He departs.
It is not about a superiority complex,it is about the truth that it is.
Christianity is not a religion.
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Says Christianity Is Not A Religion? by thorpido(m): 4:59pm On Sep 23, 2014
Christianity is not a religion. Those who understand it know it is not, those who don't think it is.
No prophet ever said,'I give eternal life'.Jesus brought 'something'no prophet had.

Mstik's words further buttress the point.

Some men should be reading this and thinking of how to live right.

How can you not make love to your wife for months, leave the house for days and impregnate another girl somewhere and if your wife raises hell, she gets a slap and you expect to be mourned by this same woman?(True story).

Strong strong......una dey body build?
You have been with this guy for more than a year, what strength do you need to build in your relationship again?
You are 32yrs and it wouldn't be good for this guy to be stringing you along only to change his mind later and go for a younger girl.
Give him an ultimatum of 3mths to fix a date.If by December,he can't make up his mind,I don't think you should go into a new year with this.
A MAN sets a time to marry and does so.You are dating a boy who is unsure.

I can't blame a woman who doesn't mourn her cheating spouse when he dies.I know a guy who treats his wife terribly.I wouldn't bat an eye if tomorrow I see her painting the town red if her husband passes.

...as long as she has no hand in his death.
