Richdad50:

Very shameful commissioning. A filling station is not a developmental project in a state considering the number of fuel stations in the state and country. The governors in the north ride too much on the ignorance of its people.
Richdad Lol. Shows you the kind of people that are at the helm of affairs. Do you know that the governor genuinely believes he has done something great for his state. |

Sensational headline. Read in between the lines. I must say though that he's a bit obsessed with Leo. He could have just parried the question. He's also hell bent on pushing the narrative that he and Leo push each other. This is not necessarily true. Messi would have been great with or without him. It is he who is driven by Messi. |

TRIGITIS: So when will they protest against prostitution in ph?
Protest all you want, if you can't caution your daughters against hanging out with strangers, the trend remains as this is not by any means the fault of the govt.
If police stop a car at night to make some enquiries, it is those oloshos that will be first shouting intruding into privacy, so that's the free society you so much desired, live with it. No wonder you support Buhari. It is difficult to see a Buhari supporter who is not stupid. |

Will Smith also played the role of an Igbo doctor in the movie concussion. Could not get the Nigerian accent at all. |

Romance › Re: I Have Been "Ubunjanise" God Bless You Ubunja Read My Story by ThothHermes: 8:45pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
Aunty wa Ishilove: These boys will date immature drama queens, and when the girls start acting up, they come online to start painting all womenfolk with the same brush. Hmmm... It is known that no generalization is hundred percent correct. But if it meets a certain threshold then it is valid. The statement "Nigerians are corrupt" is very true but it does not mean there are no honest Nigerians. Common sense should teach you not to tolerate disrespect and too much drama from your partner. Common sense should teach you to recognise emotional manipulation (manipulation is not gender specific). Common sense should teach you that love is reciprocal- give and it shall be given into you. If your love is not reciprocated then you're in a one-sided relationship. You don't need to read epistles to learn common sense, but since a lot of these boys think they are smart but are actually lacking in common sense, they end up used and abused. But they are learning no? Plenty road dey lead to market. Y'all are praising ubunja because so many of you lack common sense, so even when he mixes a little bit of conventional wisdom with a truckload of misogyny, that lack of sense kicks in and blinds you so that you cannot differentiate between the rantings of an egoistic misogynist with mummy issues and common sense. I like to think I know what misogyny is. I don't think pointing out your observations on issues regarding women qualify as misogyny unless they are shown to be false. I agree that a lot of it is conventional wisdom. I would take it a notch higher and say it's just understanding human psychology. PS: So that's your picture I finally know what you look like. I have saved it for posterity. And for anytime I need to remind myself of what a good woman looks like. |

bukatyne: Ideally, your dad.
And it is not a question and answer situation. It is training her with the right values over time so she can recognize original.
For instance, telling her that a husband should respect his wife is not as effective or impactful as raising her to have great self-esteem and self-respect. In the second scenario, she would naturally pick a respectful man.
If she is also trained on the difference between healthy self-esteem and arrogance, she would also know how to relate with the respectful man respectably. Too much sense. One thing I have discovered is that the best way way to riase a child is by being that thing that you want them to be. Your character and actions are more potent than any other thing I can think of. |

Soldier go, soldier come. Barracks remain. The most enlightened person I have met on Nairaland, probably in my life left the forum without warning. Just deactivated leaving a lot of people perplexed. Wayward irresponsible non-virgins.
From afar, I can sure tell that 99.9‰ of female viewers of this thread and in pains but pretending to be proud that they can't boast of their hymen.
Irresponsible creatures.
Lol, God bless all the virgin ladies out there. See provocation on top small question. No matter how degenerates of today try to frame it, virginity is still something of worth. It is worth aspiring to. From the ancient times to the modern day, there has always been a demand for undefiled women. For marriage, sacred rites, ceremonies etc. There is something special, mystical even about a chaste woman. I say a big Amen to your prayer. Degenerates can go to hell. It's one thing to not be a virgin, but to come use am dey make mouth unto wokeness. Ends shall never wonder. PS: It applies to women only. Who no like am fit go hug transformer. Very irresponsible set of people. |

You honestly should have taken that job as a sales representative. As an extrovert, you most likely would have done well at it. One of the fastest ways to grow a career is via sales/business development. You would have had that experience in the bag. Aren't there commissions in addition to the basic salary?
You should have taken it... given it your best... then started sending applications to other companies.
Now you're going to the village. 25k and you're still complaining. 9 months at home and you haven't learnt anything? Imagine you had been working for that 9 months. Do you think you would have still been at this stage? But you no go tell woman wey dey this condition to leave man ooo |

Lmfao! Literally!
Why should you miss him. Am I not enough!?
Dear OP, you're not ready for life yet, trust me... if this is how you intend to be policing your significant other about.
These things aren't always that serious. Yes, you're overreacting! I talk to my both exes.
One is always sending pictures of us from way back whenever he stumbles on it. Just two weeks ago, I found one inbetween my books... from 4 years ago and I sent it to him. We laughed over it and all.
But trust me, there's nothing there. Perhaps, if I had a boyfriend like you and he had seen our conversations, he would have been jealous or upset. But really, there's nothing between us. I blocked him on Whatsapp but when either of us calls, we can stay on the phone talking for a decent amount of time.
But then again, I don't think I've ever told either of my exes that I miss them. No wonder you have two exes. It will soon be three. |
