This practice is unsustainable. Their time will soon be up |
You know that mechanic, the one they told you was a whizkid that could repair brainbox, that would save you so much money and stress, the one who three months down the line, your car is still at his workshop, disemboweled, engineless, the one whose number you have on speed dial because of the incessant breakdowns, once at Ore, another on third mainland, the one that causes your wife to think you're having an affair due to the unending calls, the one who they call 'Kazeem'? Yeah, that guy, that's Babatunde Raji Fashola |
mayoor15:The current constitution is defective in many respects and prone to abuse. It needs to be fixed urgently. BUT Local Governments are mandated with waste disposal |
mandategroup:What is observed in the image is flotsam and jetsam, this implies that the items were carried here by the water or flood. Unless one is able to track the items there is no confirmation that they are from Akobi Crescent, Bishop & Owokoniran Streets. It is unfair to make this assertion. |
Dysfunctional MAGA city On the one hand you can blame the residents for poor sanitary habits, on the other hand what was the government looking at when the residents were putting the rubish in the drains? This is what governments exist for. To lead the people to higher levels of existence. Do you know that an inefficient refuse system makes money FOR some people? It also provides an excuse to PRIVATISE and charge EXORBITANT rates for a service that should almost be free of charge (Local Governements are mandated by the constitution to handle waste disposal) |
bakila:Thanks for highlighting that |
QueenFusa16:WE make them count! It's either we're strategically hopeful or we're not. |
OP That's not a correspondent na! Meanwhile, the youths who claim that staying home and not voting is in protest are only showing stark naivete and immaturity. If you want to be a factor in politics, you need to be a bloc. If not you're as good as unknown. The Social Media influencers on twitter know this, which is why they leveraged 'followers' to buy THEMSELVES seats at the table. They could have made a case for their followers but followers wey be like sheep, wetin dem know. Na make d person wey arrange d format jollof alone na. If you guys are as many as you claim you are, you will go out and deliberately void votes. That way when votes are tallied and void votes count more than some candidates, the politicians will take you serious next time around. As it is now una jus' dey deceive una sef, dey play footbal for road. |
That El-Rufai or Atiku would still be a factor in Nigerian Politics would be laughable Unfortunately, jokes are expensive. See Nigeria and Buhari. |
izzou:Go and protest at the polls! By deliberately voiding your vote. Void votes will be counted then at least you'll have an argument. |
Sad commentary on democracy but.... You know what's even sadder. Staying at home with your voters card and watching GOT. Like someone on twitter said, if you have a voters card and are refusing to use it, you're as useless to Nigeria as Buhari is now |
Hmm... There is very little one can do in 24 hours within the established powers of the president as outlined in the constitution that cannot be undone the very next day by the Judiciary or National Assembly. http://kubanni.abu.edu.ng:8080/jspui/bitstream/123456789/1645/1/A%20CRITICAL%20ANALYSIS%20OF%20PRESIDENTIAL%20POWERS%20UNDER%20THE%201999%20NIGERIAN%20CONSTITUTION.pdf |
27. You can find old tweets So people trying to delete tweets-good luck (you can find a tweet someone tried to delete - the internet never forgets). |
People fight political fights only for the people they are allegedly fighting for to be the ones suffering the fallout. What is education in SW today like? Meanwhile, so as dis Baba yarn, na rain wey fall allow Tinubu win Senator? Na Wah oh |
Hmmmmm..... These dudes Tolu & Co. REDMEDIA Chude & Debola are mercenaries. They are NOT HYPOCRITES! They know what they are playing at. This same Tolu Ogunlesi said "Buying cars you know for an airport that doesn't have power and doesn't have whatever is not for me, is not vision. So, I have not said it's fine to steal but we need to look at the issues one by one. I spoke quite vocally abut the cars because it offended me that 4 million dollars will go on a bunch of cars if that money went..., and that's the argument that Pius gave about Lagos, that you see development in Lagos and Edo and you're less likely to accuse the Governors of stealing because at least they're doing stuff with the money so for me it's just about a certain nuance to the issues of public expenditure and it's not about them saying it's fine to steal money." Tolu, Chude, Debola, Kola Oyeniyin, Ayourb, Gbenga Olorunpomi & Co have their eyes set on 2023. They are the New Nigeria

Fraud everywhere in this 'Change' dispensation. Maybe because the President is missing so no more Body magic abi wetin dem dey call am.... Ashay they have been operating Treasure Double Account since |
El-Rufai took a beating in this article so its safe to say that he will not win an election. |
How will this work? Rent control in spite of market forces? Rent caps for certain neighbourhoods? |
NASS should do away with State funded religious pilgrimage in Nigeria. After 56 years as a Nation State Sponsored Pilgrimage has NOT helped us develop and is only a way of dispensing patronage and deflecting from governmental ineptitude We CANNOT & SHOULD NOT use a badly worded LAND USE decree to disenfrachise some by taking oil out of the ground under their feet only to feed SOME & make SOME people wealthy. Do you know it is almost the same people being sponsored for Pilgrimage every year? . |
It will be peaceful Come out & Vote Let's ignite a revolution that our children and children's children will be proud of. A revolution in Lagos will bring revolution to Nigeria |
olaniyisamuel:Hmm but Ogoni Cleanup nko? |
Goodluck Jonathan The way wey him dey chop blame person go tink say him follow dem do d work Yeye people |

So, following the post on FP concerning Architects and registration I did a little digging. In true design fashion I tried to provide an infographic. Hope the Architects in the house appreciate the effort. Lalalsticlala, Seun I need some help here These are the Accredited schols running a Masters program in Nigeria Abia State University Ahmadu Bello University Ambrose Alli University Anambra State Universty of Science and Technology Covenant University Cross River State University of Technology Enugu State University of Technology Federal University of Technology, Akure Imo State University Nnamdi Azikiwe University Obafemi Awolowo University University of Jos University of Lagos University of Nigeria University of Uyo Source http://www.arconigeria.org.ng/view-accredited-institutions Total number of Registered Architects in 2003 (15 years ago) = 1925 (2003 figures - Full Members & Fellows) Source https://web.archive.org/web/20031208162232/http://www.nigerianinstituteofarchitects.org:80/Members_/members_.html Current Number of Registered Architects in Nigeria (including Full Members & Fellows retired numbers) = 3438 source: http://www.arconigeria.org.ng http://arconigeria.org.ng/sites/default/files/downfiles/AccreditedArchitects2013.pdf ARCON/NIA has registered 1513 architects in a space of 15 YEARS!! that's approximately 100.8 architects every year for the last 15 Years! Each of the 15 schools above has graduated a conservative average of 50 student architects a year. That's 50 students x 15 schools = 750 students x 15 years (2003-2017) = 11,250 potential architects (not counting those from unacreddited schools) ARCON/NIA have registered a woeful 1,513 architects of 11,250 potential architects over the last 15 years. They've been admitting 100.8 a year over the last 15 years when they should have been registering approximately 750 a year! 100/750

Okay but.... hopefully Lagos Residents will vote APC out of the grassroots and vote in capable people regardless of party How can the State Assembly amend the electoral laws just four days to the polls!!! http://thenationonlineng.net/lagos-assembly-amends-lasiec-law-ahead-saturdays-election/ |
Authority Stealing Why should one hope in a country where a Fashola can appropriate Billions of Naira (as he did in Lagos) and no one complains yet if it's someone else the whole of Social Media in Nigeria will be agog? Why are we like this? We justify our man's stealing but attack another? If Fashola is a Saint then Ibori is a Hero. If Fashola is a super minister then Saraki is a Credible Senate President When we support 'our thief' do we not see that there is justification for others to support their's? Nigeria WILL NOT get better this way. Where some people think it can be good for only them and everyone else can go to blazes. |
