And wit immense gratitude to the most high, I hereby announce the birth of my princess at 6:22am this morning through vaginal delivery with minimal tears.

I got to the hospital at 5am and had my daughter at 6:22am with less drama. 2.6kg

Isn't God great?

If it's your first time, your hospital will ask for it to see if your pelvis is adequate for vaginal delivery. I was asked to do it when I was pregnant with my son in 2011 at 40 weeks when the labour wasn't progressing as it should. It's harmless.

I just passed my edd which was july 4,7th
ive been going for weekly checkups since one month now(every Saturday)
.
last week I went for antenal and BP was 150/90 so I was given drugs and asked to return on Monday for inducement, I didn't go because I wanted it to come down well.
.
Today I went for antenatal again and the BP went down (thank God)

The Bp today is 140/90.
So after the MD check me he say base on

1.) my previous history of pre- emclampsia( still birth)

2.) Edd has passed so he said he's booking me for CS

please I need opinion or suggestion from Sabi mama's.
please advice your girl

Mama, please go for the CS quickly. Your doctor knows what's best for you now.

Everything is fine from what I see, except for the placenta in front of the cervix, suggesting placenta previa. If it is, it's quite dangerous and your doctor will tell you it's CS straight.
It's better you show this to your doctor and he/she will explain better.

Hello beautiful belleful mamas,

I'm having lower abdominal pain especially when sitting down or trying to get up from laying down. I don't stress myself just normal house chores which are not that much as it's only Bobo and I are at home. But this boy is always hitting me with his legs and head on my belly though I wedge it with pillow but when I forget or least expect it , I get the hit.
My next appointment is on Thursday and I would be going for scan on Monday. We are 25 weeks gone. Is there anything I can take to before then?

I don't think we should discourage people from pouring Out their mind online. This could be the only Plateform where she might be able to discuss such. Do you know if she has meet others like friends and family and they tell her to keep pushing? People will always judge you even people you tell your matter to physically..... So many women keep mute scared of judgment and they end up dead. abeg if coming online will ease your burden and to get the necessary help please don't hesitate to ask. the world is now a global village, help can come from anywhere. First of all I am experiencing this itching down there
I complained during my last antenatal and I was told to properly sun dry my undies and if the weather isn’t so sunny I should iron my undies before wearing.

I have been doing that and I must say it has reduced but not totally? Any better, safer and quicker way I can go about this?

Secondly I am experiencing a kind of shock like feeling in my right palm. It’s as though there isn’t enough blood getting to that palm. My doctor said it’s nothing to worry about. Is any mama experiencing or has experienced such before?

Gd day nlders, my little son picked interest in snails during this circumstantial holiday but d problem is I don't know how to go about it for him oh. from feeding to habitat. I need practical real life experience of people who have done it before or are into it currently. ur inputs are highly welcome.

My son is eight and has this same interest too. We picked over 30 snails and put up a space for them filled with sand or soil which we wet every morning. Snails eat lots of leaves. We give pawpaw leaves, fruits, grinded egg shells, but nothing salty. And constantly ensure the soil is wet for them to thrive.

Cleaning of the nipples during pregnancy.

During pregnancy, the nipples may become dry and pigmented and develop cracks, therefore , it is important to retain moisture around the nipple area. The areola, which is that circular and dark patches that surround the nipples undergoes a lot of skin changes as a result of hormonal operations in the body during pregnancy, making the areola change in colour, usually growing darker than usual

How to clean the nipples during pregnancy

Cleaning of the nipples should start from 36weeks up and should be done once a week to avoid falling into labor since the nipple is a very sensitive part of the body and twingling it can lead to contraction.

Materials needed
* Cotton wool
* Methylated spirit (optional)
* olive oil/coconut oil

How to clean the nipples

* Dip cotton wool inside a methylated spirit/olive oil/coconut oil, use it to clean around the aerola
* Finally use a cotton wool dipped with olive oil to clean it off so as to avoid dry and flaky around the aerola if methylated spirit was used.
* Clean nipple using a warm hand towel when bathing.
* After cleaning, gently pull out your nipples for like five minutes. Repeat this process as many times as possible during the day. The effect of this is that the nipples are being trained and exercised to stand out well enough for the baby to easily suck, after delivery.


Remember every woman, every baby, every pregnancy is different. Don’t listen to anyone, just enjoy the ride! Take everyone’s advice but only use what feels right for you.

I have bn having headache, i checked my bp its normal, i have bn taking paracetamol and drinking enough water but nothing is working. I don't really no what 2 do, I went 4 scan my baby doesn't want 2 open leg so as 2 kw d gender, plancenta is still anterior, i don't know what 2 do 2 change d plancenta position

I was in this situation a few weeks back. I complained to my friend who forced me to call my nurse. She asked me to do a widal test. Lo and behold, I had typhoid. Moral of my story, please go to your hospital and complain
For the placenta, it is okay. There's nothing you can do about that. Just relax.

Went to the clinic today, having made complains earlier.
I was asked to do a widal test (guess that's what it's called) because she suspected malaria.
Test done. This is the result. Please who can help me analyse?

Mamas please I need your advice and input concerning my son.

Am worried that he cannot make a complete sentence at 2years 6month.
He can only say Daddy, mummy, call people by their names. And mention names of food like golden morn, biscuit , rice, egg etc.

But he cannot say anything three words like mummy give me. Or I want to pee.


Am so so worried.

Also do girls talk earlier than boys?

I felt really bad within when some mamas here were talking about how their 2years plus can count one to thirty.

He can only count 1 - 10 even that no so smoothly.
He is supposed to begin school in September.

But when you ask him to do anything he understands and goes to do it. But he doesn't really talk. He can operate my phone very well, go to YouTube himself and play cocomelon videos.

But why doesn't he talk. We cant even have a discussion

Is he your first child? If yes, he probably is not seeing anyone to talk at his own pace. Leave him so long as he's making progress. When he starts school and interacts with his peers, he'll talk better.
