If you are in dire need of a job, read this. � Don't let anyone tell you that there are no jobs. As a matter of fact, the opportunities are numerous and cannot be exhausted, yet you have been made to believe the otherwise. Sad Over the years, we have been raised in a setting where you go to school, graduate, and get a job. Who told them you needed a job? No one does � A job is only a vehicle to get you to a destination. What you want is to live life to the fullest and be financially secured Why don't they teach us that? Many, including me, studied courses that we didn't want, all to graduate and get a job So let me explain how this thing called money works because I know it's the money you desire, not the job itself. Money is a medium of exchange, you give something in return for money. If you don't want to retire at the age of 60 and live off a pension, then you need to learn this. There are several opportunities available in this era, but they require you to have a specific skill, you provide service based on the skill, and you get paid And the good thing is that with those skills, you can earn up to 300k monthly. How many conventional jobs in Nigeria pay this much? Not everyone would want to learn a skill, not after spending those long years in school, but do you want to keep sending your CVs for jobs that can't give you the life you want? The choice is yours, but in my opinion, I would advise you to start planning to learn a skill ASAP. And if you have a skill, start offering your service to people,(even though it's for free). The idea that there are no jobs is not absolutely correct, there are jobs everywhere including in companies with “no vacancies”. If you come into JOT's office today and decide to manage one of our products with a promise to make revenue that pays your salary at the end of every month. I won’t think twice before signing your offer letter. The problem we tag as scarcity of jobs is that most people want to earn a salary without necessarily creating value for the company. There are always jobs for people who can create value that helps companies generate tons of money. Steve Jobs was not welcomed back at Apple because they ran out of ideas to keep improving iPhones, IPads, iTunes, and other products. He was welcomed back because he knew how to generate billions for Apple. My inbox is open if you are looking for a job and you understand the message of this post. |

The call came in and a voice asked, am I unto Emmanuel Nduka? I responded affirmatively. This is the executive assistant to the chairman of Heirs Holdings, and the founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation, Tony Elumelu and you were invited by him for the next mentorship session. We would be flying you down to Lagos, sending your ticket and other information through your mail. OMG! I would be entering a plane for the first time in my life, I told my roommates and we were all happy. At the time, we still found it hard to believe. I got to the airport, and I discovered I wasn't with my Identity card, Omo! I was like the devil is a lair �. Immediately, I called one of my roommates, he quickly snapped it and sent it to me. Pheew! that was solved, thanks to technology. I got to the plane and we started moving for takeoff, it was like a mighty rush of adrenaline through me and within a few minutes, we were in the air. While in the air, the experience was on another level, at some point, it felt like we were going down, at another time, it would shake violently (turbulence). Some thoughts came to my mind, what if this plane crashes? I will die and go to heaven � but I was sure that can't happen. So we got to Lagos 1 hour later. This is a journey I use 10-12 hours, from Lagos to Owerri. Chai! At that moment, I knew having money is good and sweet.
