maestroferddi:You mean lack of foresight due to unbridled ambition is class? Awolowo used his position in Gowon's government to ensure the East Central state got all of its allocations that accrued during the war, and ensured that loan schemes were available to the Easterners in their own region after the war. You should be happy that a liberal mind like Awolowo was in that government, else we would have been going to the museum to see the remainder population of an endangered tribe. Once Awolowo's patriotic mission was over, he resigned from the Gowon government to lead a demand for an end to military rule. Yorubas have no complaint about his role in the affairs of the tribe, and Nigeria that he served only have commendations and praise for his service. As for the conquered rebels who had no choice but to make an unconditional surrender, they continue to lick their wounds. Don't ask me not to go there when I was born there. |
mannyiyke:It is obvious you are a chronic illiterate. The fraudster was the 3rd Igbo to hold such office in immediate succession because that was the domination agenda of Azikiwe. Even Kenneth Dike that was made Principal was chosen by an Igbo led board of Louis Mbanefo, ahead of the more senior and more qualified Prof Oladele Ajose, who was the most senior Nigerian and African on the Academic Board, and the first African to be tenured as a professor in the University, and one of the first African professors on the whole continent. But in that era, merit only meant to be Igbo. Azikiwe as Visitor to the University, ensured he persisted with both a Igbo principal and an Igbo led School Council. You are quoting wikipedia bio tales when we are discussing a fraud that was well reported then and can still be found online. It has never been well with Igbo dominators like you who long for such nepotistic days, but now have to make do with wailings of marginalization. |
maestroferddi:Yet the Ikenne man sent him packing back to his village in Onitsha, and killed his fanatical dream of Igbo domination? So much for Africa. Any man can glory in his own delusional self worth. |
maestroferddi:Tribalism for aspiring and winning the Premiership of his own region, and democratically defeating an Igbo upstart in the process? |
maestroferddi:It only serves as a good historical and factual reminder that nepotism was the order of the day, instead of merit, in the era of Azikiwe. |
Ykc2:Chairman of University council is not same as Principal or Vice-Chancellor. The dude was a medical doctor who falsely held a doctorate degree from a foreign university, and when the truth was revealed, Azikiwe as Visitor to the school who had already appointed 2 Igbos previously, insisted he must have a 3rd Igbo Chairman of the School Council. |
Amotolongbo:I was already thinking of making this very comment. It is good to know that many others know the history of political corruption in Nigeria. The case of the convicted Nwafor Orizu who later became Senate President in 1960, is one of the hallmarks of Azikiwe's many folly. |
Ikinternational:Really! Is it a weakness to just coexist with others? Must there be a desire to dominate? I fear this trait will be evident even in an Igbo only Biafra. Anambra will boast of domination of the others, and then the cycle begins even in a homogenous nation. |
BrownLondon:I also looked up the thread after you posted the link. I just felt pity for an arrogant tribe that has been cursed by nature and karma to live as refugees and make a living in the midst of those they hate so much. They have to venture to the West and North to make a living and alleviate the poverty that envelopes their region. It is very humbling. Kettykings has been lamenting on this forum for years that Igbos should return home, only for him to inadvertently disclose years later that he was still a tenant in Lagos, paying N1.5m to his Yoruba landlord whom he considered undeserving of such rent. They make boasts online that Igbos live in Mansions in Lagos while Yorubas live in slums, yet Ajegunle that is the biggest slum is majorly populated by Igbos. The majority who live in mansions live in estates built by Yorubas and will forever pay service charges to Yorubas. while those on rent like the hypocrite Kettykings continue to pay yearly. |
Adaibeku:Shameless thing that already lives in fear of 2023. When we win, we will give you gutter to clean. Abia must be clean by the grace of God. |
Adaibeku:So it is now a competition and you even have to lie to your own self just because you want to measure up to a Yoruba who told barbarians to leave her group. Imagine tribal happiness at achieving with lies what a Yoruba woman already achieved and had the effrontery to give quit notice to the barbarians that constituted nuisance value. When will this clansmen tire to catch-up with Yorubas on everything? Yorubas have really inspired you to be better and ambitious. |
Babysawale19:Infact, she has been given free publicity by the babarians that she told to leave her group. |
Gandollar:More like those who have to chase her around do not have peace hence the state of distress. |
Igboid:Did Kanu learn any lesson from his bigotry? Did Nnana Ochereoma who is still serving as Vanguard editor learn any lesson from his bigotry? The many Igbos on facebook and twitter who are very much at ease to mouth tribal diatribe have not learnt any hard lesson? Has the active facebook group been closed or of what relevance is a website that has no connection to the outburst that was made on facebook? |
More publicity for the woman in question. |
YungMillionaire:How can you wonder when they boasted about killing the Northern Premier within the Markets of the North where they traded, and called attention of Northerners to the pictures they were selling showing the boot of a soldier on the head of a dead Premier? They even said he was begging for his life like a Sallah ram. Worse still, they played songs that depicted machine gun sounds to remind their Northern hosts about the Igbo military take over of government and the murder of Northern soldiers and politicians. So can you imagine the built up anger and hatred that powered the furious pogrom by the Northerners. The question remains as to how foolish, arrogant and self-destructive a tribe can be in the midst of their native hosts. |
YungMillionaire:They are ready to leave their jobs and go stage a protest if need be. Are you just knowing that their hate is unrelenting? Never show weakness or restraint when they are playing victim, when indeed they are very calculating predators. Never be caught off guard. |
humilitypays:What price did Nnana Ochereome of Vangaurd pay when he exposed his bigotry in the newspaper he serves as Editor, with his facebook history also showing similar bigotry that dated back many years? Was he not even defended by his Yoruba friends and kept his job? You Igbos never tire to show your true colours. If this was Yorubas lamenting or petitioning, you would claim it was driven by envy for a successful Igbowoman. If other Nigerian tribes were this clannish with your tribe, do you think you will ever thrive outside your own region? I will patiently watch how this your petition will play out, and the same template you have employed will be employed to put you where you belong. I never knew this woman until this Monday, no thanks to your emotional and effeminate tribesmen who were hyperventilating. |
Emmanuelhector:What has envy got to do with her outburst? Was her outburst not driven by the attitude of those she directed it to, as a result of their inability to appreciate the multicultural nature of the group? So how is such situation even closely related to envy, when you realise some barbarians will not respect others in the same group and you tell them to leave with their barbarism? Is barbarism something to be envied? |
Emmanuelhector:What has the website got to do with the facebook group where she made her outburst to her over 1 million members? What will she learn when Kanu and IPOB have not learnt? |
Gandollar:I have finally rehabilitated you. So you agree that Buhari is alive because you believe Kanu is still alive despite the same type of picture dissections that IPOB promoted and the many fake pictures of death or condolence just like IPOB propagated? You have been cured, go and embrace IPOB zombiism no more. |
humilitypays:So the summary is that your tribe constitute a terror and nuisance to others, while not willing to accept any nuisance from anyone else? Your victim dummy has never fooled my type. Thanks for clarifying it for others who have been fooled by your constant wailing and whimpering, when indeed you are a deadly predator. Just remember that members of other tribes have not taken it personal with Nnamdi kanu and the many IPOB hate mongers whose identities are not also hidden. |
manuelreports:But childish talk is not stale coming from IPOB and the late kanu that you insist is still alive? Or is this very topic not the same childish talk of impostor that you claim is stale already? |
It is good what IPOB has reduced their tribe to. Who would have thought the destruction of the tribe that wanted to catch-up will come about as an inside job? |
Maadoo:Very typical mentality. Why is domination a pathological obsession for this tribe? Can't you just exist to coexist with others? Must you desire domination like an uncontrollable bull? |
Afamed:When they fail to defeat you, they create an imaginary defeat to appease their bitter souls. We all know they are so touchy, emotional, and effeminate. I never even knew of the lady until they made her popular on Nairaland today. |
Ibadanpikin:Continue reporting, her facebook group still exist. The website being touted was never the medium of her outburst. |

She is too small for a whole tribe.
