obowo69:It most have really pained your bigoted soul? I mean the recently released statistics conducted by the NBS Igbos themselves. You will wail until the next year records are released, then you wail some more. Arrogance flattened! |
I remember he was derisively called Baba Go Slow by civil servants in Abuja and Nigerians in general. I remember he was more Democratic and civil than any president we have had since 1999 till date. I remember he returned the local government funds of Lagos state that was seized by OBJ. Many would not remember that even Yar'Adau as Katsina state Governor, was one of a handful of governors who created new Local Development Areas like Tinubu of Lagos, as a prelude to constitutional recognition and approval as new LGAs, but all the other Governors had to back track when OBJ threatened them, except Tinubu who refused to surrender. I remember vividly how Patience Jonathan complained that Turai Yar'Adua has directed her husband Goodluck to be reading newspapers because he wasn't mentally bright enough and could not play any useful role in the government he was Vice President. I remember that Yar'Adua was also insular and only trusting of fellow Northern Muslims. In fact, Northern politicians complained bitterly that Yar'Adua's government was only for Katsina, Kano and Kaduna. That's because most government agencies, departments and paramilitary corps were mostly headed by those from the 3K states. In fact, Yar'Adua regime introduced the Northern cabal vocabulary into our current 4th republic. I remember that Yar'Adua abandoned the plan by Charles Soludo to eliminate inflationary zeros from the Naira, like Ghana had done by eliminating 1000th number places from their currency. With the 100th zero elimination planned by Soludo, N500 was to become N5, and N1000 was to become N10. I remember Yar'Adua provided a safe haven for the corrupt and wanted James Ibori. However, I remember Yar'Adua forced his Vice, Jonathan to also publicly declare his assets like he had done. Yar'Adua also forced Jonathan to enter the creeks and negotiate a government proposed amnesty with the militants. Only MEND rebuffed Jonathan's entreaties, and when Jonathan became President, he remembered to pay the Okah brothers of MEND in kind with the aftermath of the October 1st bombing. I also remember that Yar'Adua brought down the price of Petrol after OBJ had increased it some days before his own departure from government. It could have been a gimmick by the PDP regime of OBJ to make Nigerians fall in love with the Yar'Adua regime. Turai Yar'Adua also ensured she pimped her daughters to the highest bidder, by marrying them off as 3rd wife to prominent Northern Governors and politician. |
If it requires begging Goodluck Ebele Johnathan every day for forgiveness, let's start.Has Jonathan begged we the citizenry to be forgiven? Or what kind of zombie citizen are you when all cronies and family of Jonathan ensured they enriched themselves during his regime, and you want us to beg him for forgiveness? Forgiveness that the current regime did not jail him, or forgiveness that not enough people died during the immigration recruitment, or forgiveness that he should have taken more than 3weeks to admit that defenseless girls were kidnapped in Chibok? |
Juliusmalema:As long as I do not donate death, my community is alright. |
Juliusmalema:That he donated, does not mean his shady dealings that has proven to be deadly, should not be questioned or investigated. Or are you insinuating that such massacre is acceptable collateral damage as long as he donates from his shady blood money? |
Juliusmalema:Ozubulu massacre must not be swept under the carpet. His shady dealings in South Africa brought calamity to his village, and took the lives of 12 people besides his own father. |
Because he let a criminal like you become a cabal in his government, instead of prosecuting you? |
May his soul rest in peace. If he had been working from home since March, does not mean he did not become infected at work before the homework started. He could have contracted it from anywhere, even on the bus home from work, or at his favourite restaurant during lunch break. The only link to the bank should be if a known positive case had visited the bank while he was still working, and he had contact with that known positive case. Lastly, COVID-19 is a bastard, else he would still have been working fully, commuting to work, eating lunch at his favourite restaurant, while still full of life and anticipating the start of the Olympics. |
Same Aloysius of the Ozobulu Catholic Church massacre? |
Zooposki:That you believe your own incredulous conspiracy, should make you doubt your sanity. |
SciLab:An Igboman is only self assure with his fellow Igboman at the helm of every affair. You are not different from the power hungry core North you love to condemn. In fact, the Northerners learnt from you by your 1960's attempt to covet everything that was federal. |
The agony of the East is so loud over this statistic that is buttressed by similar international statistics. If only Ipob Bureau of Statistics can be allowed to release its own revised version. |
mrvitalis:You finally show gratitude that you came to Lagos as refugees, where you have been able to acquire wealth to alleviate the poverty back home. You finally agree that you were developed in Lagos and not that you developed Lagos, as many of you have falsely claimed. If you return to your region, where would the source of wealth to sustain your savings come from? From the same region you fled in your youth without a penny? |
I wanted to insult the old professor, until I calmed down to read the news content, and realised he was actually sane in his opinion. No foreign government should trust the current crop of Nigerian leaders, for even if the head is not corrupt, the rest of the greedy gang are only waiting to devour. What is sovereign about a nation where the citizenry are daily queued up at the embassy of other countries, and the successive government is perpetually begging for debt forgiveness while unable to fix refineries, provide constant power supply, or complete the steel milling plant in Ajaokuta for decades? |
Horus:What is the usefulness of the fellow in the video to the sustenance of this world and its inhabitants? Has that person solved any problem that has made the world a better place or provided the temporal comfort so needed by the many who are afflicted? |
NwaNimo1:Peter Obi of Anambra set the precedent. He relocated beggars, the homeless and the destitute to Ebonyi and Akwa-Ibom in 2011, before Fashola did his own in Lagos in 2013. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/142192-throwback-anambra-govt-arrests-repatriates-beggars-to-akwa-ibom-ebonyi.html https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/anambra-obis-deportation-story-igbokwe/amp/ Yet, same Peter Obi wailed the most when he received the Igbo contingent that were sent from Lagos, despite other Yoruba states and Northern states receiving their own contingent from Lagos quietly. |
Cjrane2:Go back and read what you wrote that I quoted. Again, show appreciation for what a Yoruba Governor has done for Igbos. So Ifeanyi Ubah showed he was detribalized by sharing food to "our people" who are his Igbo tribesmen in Lagos? Are you sure you are not mentally impaired? |
I feel sorry for Vitalis that lacks vitality. |
Cjrane2:An arrogant ingrate can never change his ways. Is Tinubu the Governor of Rivers State? Why didn't you mention Wike who is a Governor like Sanwo-Olu? We will continue feeding our enemies until they choke with shame. |
adadike:Are you not ashamed of yourself? Always learn to read before commenting. |
Cjrane2:But he did it for Igbos in Lagos, using food provided by the Lagos State Government, while adding his own relief materials. |
Sylraph1:This is your gratitude for the generousity of the Lagos state Governor? During the lockdown, I reached out to the Governor of Lagos; His Excellency; Babajide Sanwo-Olu who magnanimously gave me; |
