thesicilian:Does Peter Obi even know what is going on or does he understand what is at stake? As for Atiku that went to arrange for Master's degree in international relations, he has suddenly become a local relations expert that is not allowed to speak on international matters. |
raskymonojendor:Na so we see am ooo. God raised the lowly and scattered the proud hearted. |
Ok Where is the cenotaph? Ogundipe should have stayed and rallied the loyal troops however difficult it was then. But he opted to run and hide at the port when his orders were disregarded by the Northern NCOs. But what he should have never done was to agree to leave Nigeria so that a junior Gowon could take over as the most senior Northerner when many more officers like Emeka Ojukwu and Adeyinka Adebayo were around and still in service. He had no excuse for that failure. But even Fajuyi who stood like a man to die with Ironsi, he is never valued by the revisionists who want to prove he did not do anything gallant or noble. At least, Ogundipe lived longer to the benefit of his family when he later appeared in the UK to become Nigeria's ambassador to the UK. He did not need any glory, and his family did not suffer over what would have been an avoidable death like the case of Fajuyi. |
festacman:Certainly! |
Let them go and meet Obi. Tinubu only owes them the constitutional requirement of 1 minister per state, and he has met that requirement. No SouthEast state should compare themselves to Kano that Tinubu lost to Kwankwaso but still had over 500K votes. Or should they compare themselves to Ogun that gave Tinubu courage to declare that it was his turn to lead APC his own party to the elections having worked for same party for many years and enabled the ambition of others. Igbos managed the cash scarcity in the hopes that Obi will use the hardship to defeat Tinubu. Let them manage this 1 minister per state in the hopes that Obi will find the mandate he wants to steal in the wilderness, then he can settle them. Igbos told us in 2012 that we should stop disturbing Jonathan despite that he won 5 out of 6 SouthWest states and Kwara and Kogi with significant Yorubas, that we should go meet Tinubu. We went to meet Tinubu and helped him sack Jonathan from office, and then made Tinubu President after Buhari. Now, same Igbos are begging Tinubu for more political appointments? Is God not a miracle worker? |
IhateYouMan:You do not support military coup but have refused to condemn the actions of the illegal military junta and support the actions of the Nigerian government and ECOWAS leadership. You seek to weaken both Nigeria and ECOWAS, just because your own supported candidate lost the presidential election. Yet same candidate you supported has been shamefully obscure over this raging national and international matter, underscoring his lack of capacity for the role he was pursuing and even his current role as a significant opposition leader in Nigeria. You only toned down your anti-government and anti-Nigeria/ECOWAS bile when I illustrated to you that what you fail to condemn now can very well happen to a future Peter Obi democratic government in Nigeria, especially when many more West African countries go the military route when they see that ECOWAS and Nigeria are too weak to punish them for their usurpation of democracy. Remember that we are legion and when we storm the streets to celebrate the military regime that would topple such democratic government of your supported candidate, do not become a rabid democracy activist then that would be appealing to US, EU, UN, and CAF/FIFA for positive intervention. The CAF/FIFA ban we suffered during the Abacha regime is enough for a lifetime. |
slivertongue:I should be bothered because he could have become President and offered very weak leadership to Nigeria and ECOWAS. And since his ambition is that he must oneday become President as he affirmed, he needs to brush himself up and attend to that shortcoming. |
Psalmistproject:Can you please help Obi with an idea on this matter. It is too late to air his opinion, but better late than never. Abi the recovered missing phones never charge since that time? |
jmoore:By the time PMC cancel PMC, na Wagner vs Dokubo go remain. How Oyinbo wey never survive malaria go face Dokubo wey dey sleep naked inside creek? ![]() |
Beremx:My sister no go there ooo. GCE is still relevant ooo. Na wetin Peter Obi present to INEC be that ooo as he no pass school WAEC. |
Bluntguy:Peter Obi sef no pass WAEC. Na GCE make bros enter university, yet he still mess up there. |
Your apology is accepted. But you should know you are now past your prime and should be considering retirement. Abi no be the same Oparanozie we don dey hear about since 2010 when she shine for under 20 womens world cup? 32 or 33 years for man no be joke, not to talk of woman wey dey age faster than men. |
First Lady in action. A classy lady that can be taken to the Ball. Nigeria is blessed to have this active mother. Her New Era foundation really helped many students in Lagos back in the days.

IhateYouMan:Self hating African, ponder on this. Would a future Peter Obi presidency be allowed to complete its tenure? Would the military that is more populated by Northerners not seize power claiming all manner of sophistry as excuse for why they had to interrupt a legitimate democratic government regardless of the local economic hardship or global economic recession that might be prevalent at that opportune time? Would Igbos then be surprised when the majority tribes like Hausas and Yorubas are jubilating about Nigeria that the military are welcome to take over? I repeat, would the many Obi supporters and Igbo clansmen on this forum applaud any military intervention that will terminate the legitimate democratic regime of an Igbo president? Unfortunately, you do not have the capacity to think, to be objective, or to stand for truth. You are only driven by hate as your name suggest. |
Is this the opinion of the legitimate democratic and constitutional government of Niger or the illegitimate military junta that has held democracy captive? President Bazoum must be returned to power to complete the remaining 3yrs of his 5yrs tenure. If you do not want him, then vote him out or impeach him as per the constitutional provisions for changing a democratic leadership. Every action of the military junta remains illegal, as such, all diplomatic delegates of Niger have refused to obey directives that did not come from the government of President Bazoum and have also refused to relinquish their control of the embassies in the different foreign countries where the illegal military regime is not recognised. The refined gentleman must be returned to power.
|
slivertongue:Yet he has no ideas on the role Nigeria should play in this matter? Is he scared his ideas would be mocked? Then he has no business seeking such a high office as Nigerian President. Do you not see President Tinubu's strong leadership in display? Maybe Tinubu should appoint Obi as an Assistant within the Presidency, so that he can be brushed up to measure up to his future political aspirations. |
ISLAMBAD:I have certainly advocated for the return of the presidential and democratic mandate of President Bazoum over many posts on this forum. Even this topic is still a campaign for such legitimate government in Niger Republic. The illegitimate military junta will never be recognised by Nigeria and ECOWAS. But even if Peter Obi is bereft of ideas on this matter, are his aides also empty headed and do not feel the need for him to contribute to this discourse that is germane to the stability of the sub-region? Then he will forever languish in the obscurity of Igbo nzobu-nzobu politics that cannot win national elections or lead the African school of thought. |
Blazebond:Atiku just wants title of President. He has nothing to offer besides making his friends rich as previously admitted by him. Is this not the time for Atiku to prove his 1st Class in International Relations that he just obtained before the last presidential campaign started? Is this not an International Relations and Political affair that needs his opinion and solutions. Alas, he is also empty. |
JealousCobra:But he is the one whose supporters have touted as the best President Nigeria will ever have. Yet has become lost in obscurity as a victim of his own ignorance of international politics. |
jconsulting:Hahahahaha! It is not an Igbo achievement, so he has not been informed by his aides. |
Burob:Certainly! And they must pay their tax and not be allowed to reside under any bridge. The ones returned to Anambra by Fashola after Peter Obi as a visionless Governor could not provide them any economic opportunities in their own state, are either back to Lagos or already in the prisons of Asia. |
jconsulting:You think they will not invade those places as they arrive by night bus and black polythene bag of luggage? |
Tntsi:After years of lying to themselves, Igbos are finally admitting that Buhari has a valid Cambridge O'level certificate. Wonders will never end. Igbos should fear God with their ungodly and unproductive propaganda. Truth can never stay hidden. That is the same way they will admit at the end of Tinubu's 8yr tenure that he truly went to the State University in Chicago. Hatred that has passed from Buhari to Tinubu, has made Igbos now begin to appreciate Buhari. Children of hate, sons of sorrow, and daughters of discord should change their ways, else they will keep crawling as their bile hold them down. |
President Tinubu is no longer their mate. |
See as Igbos are lamenting above as if their lamentations will remove Tinubu's votes and add to Obi. They spend their time online looking for negative news on Tinubu to bring to Nairaland, as if there is any election campaign ongoing. If they are not careful, even the 6million votes that Obi won to be 3rd, would be nullified since he was an illegitimate candidate. As for Atiku and PDP, they have no place in Aso-Rock ever again. Atiku should console himself that he was once Vice-President and presidential candidate many times. The Tinubu administration would benefit us all. |
IconicR:True that. But their pain is very deep, owing to their delusions that their image attack of Tinubu would scuttle his chances, but it did not. |
Watch how those praising Wagner PMC will start condemning Dokubo PMC. |
PDPdestroyer:Hahahahaha! |
slivertongue:You mean Obi should remain silent but oneday hopes to become the President of Nigeria that is a continental leader? It is obvious that office is too big for him. |
Burob:He is bereft of ideas. The matter is way above his league. |
limeta:You admit Peter Obi supports military government? Wonderful! Would same Peter Obi support a military government if it was his own democratic government that is toppled by the military? |
slimfit1:Will Obi have a mandate to steal if the military took over in all West African States, having been emboldened by a lack of strong punitive action against the junta in Mali, Burkina-Faso, and now Niger? You think with myopia. |
