That is because our defensive line became higher this season. We have played majority of our games this season with a high defensive line compared to last season. It's the reason why our loss to Totenham was scandalous with a high margin. We started the game with a high line, after the red card, they still continue with the high line. Meanwhile, Maguire and lindelof are slow as fvck for a high defensive line.

If you watch most of our games, most we are always getting caught on the counter attack, compared to last season.

My conclusion is that, Ole needs a McFred combo to successfully play a high line, as most if the games we've won majorly involves the two.
If ole had stopped his useless experiment trying to give everyone game time and had stick with those two in midfield our goal concerned would reduce a bit.

Cavani rather than taking a touch and turning or taking a touch and making an accurate pass decided to give make a hasty and faulty pass.

He actually turned a potential goal scoring opportunity for us into a goal for them. If you watch the goal again the pass to Cavani broke their press and our attackers were in open space against their defenders.
