Just a few hours back u said Mali were having a revolution with their football
.

Where is the revolution??

Francophone African countries are serial underachievers in football.. Always churning out good players with no end benefit for their national team...
Yea that's true. They always somehow manage to have a lot of players in big clubs all over Europe.

and to think that one NFF boss is the chairman of AFCON organising committee shows an hypocrite.

I am ashamed of our leaders...to be honest.
no shame at all.....
They are all the same. Both CAF and NFF . Corrupt and useless. Do you think Amaju could have Rose to that kind of position in CAF, if he doesn't know how to play their game?

I knew this will happen after wydad walked out of a caf champions league match final due to poor officiating.

U can't take away poor officiating from football. Walking or refusing to play due to poor officiating is terrible..

Caf also needs to do something before other teams learn this.. Very bad.. Also poor officiating referees should be dealt with badly..
Baba don't water down one offence just to whitewash the other.

Bad officiating is as bad as Walking away from a match. Let Fifa keep the same energy in dealing with both

I'm very sure you didn't watch that match, and most importantly the various angles from the VAR replay. If you did, you will not say there was no contact
They showed Like 3-4 angles. Only one angle made it look as if there was a contact, and that is the angle that is litered everywhere online to justify that attricious penalty, the other angles showed no contact.

It was just like the Man City vs Tottenham champions league game , where llorente scored and only one angle is showing it was not an handball, where the other multiple angles showed there was a contact with the hand.

The referee just conveniently went for a her own choice. And coupled with the fact that the lady dived as well

Big teams will always be favored over small teams when the issue is controversial or not a clear goal or win. We just have to face it and work at being exceptionally good to get ahead in such major competitions.
That is the pure truth bro. I saw this happen live when Spain played USA yesterday.

When I saw the penalty that gave USA the winning goal against Spain, I just open my mouth. Cos that thing was not a penalty, cos there was no contact.

Spain was gaining the upper hand, and might score at any moment. They just awarded a kangaroo penalty, few moments later , so that USA will win.

A USA elimination very early from the tournament will reduce the followership of the world cup. So they had to keep them in.

Its obvious. African Nations were robbed in this World Cup, benefits of doubt were given to the other teams but African teams were penalized for the most innocuous infringements....I guess the fat cats in Fifa never realized that the African girls were up for the fight in this tournament. Nobody come look uche face.
They thought it was business as usual where anything goes. But they didn't know that the Cameroonian ladies came to compete, and not to add up numbers

I think female footballers and even coaches have gotten better but female officials have not improved.
I recall a particular premiership game where a female linesman made a mess of many decisions. Not that we don't have incompetent male officials, but the are much more in number among the female folks.
Yea you are right. The incompetent and clueless Female referee are overwhelmingly much than the competent ones. That is why the German Bundesliga are trying to train a lot of them by even allowing them to officiate some Men's game.
.FIFA has surprisingly not be doing enough for the female referees in terms of Improving them. I hope this tournament serves as a reality check for FIFA concerning the female referees
SportsRe: FIFA To Investigate Cameroon Women Players' Behaviour Against England by timay(m): 11:48am On Jun 25, 2019
Las Las , the case will die down, nothing will happen.

The officiating in the tournament has been awful, and I'm sure FIFA knows it. Something like this was inevitable, as the teams will always protest against terrible officiating. It was just unfortunate that Cameroon was the culprit. If FIFA was that clean, why are they Changing rules in the middle of the tournament if those rules were not flawed.

Las Las the worst thing that Cameroon will get is just a warning letter to their FA.

Watching the USA/ Spain women match last night it is obvious that VAR is becoming a mess and needs a rethink of how and when to use it.
Over 5 minutes to sort out a penalty decision is way too long.( And they still came to the wrong decision).
I think say na only me notice am o.

USA second penalty wasn't a penalty, as there was no contact. Na just simulation by the USA player. The purpose of VAR is to prevent wrong calls by providing a video review. Yet the referee still blind and didn't see that the lady fell down easily after loosing the ball.

The officiating is just awful in this tournament. With all the hype in the women's world cup, the bad officiating is just taking away the shine
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by timay(m): 10:35am On Jun 25, 2019
forgiveness:
Why did the referee refuse to give us penalty against Germany when ball touched a German player's arm?

VAR?
That is where the problem is.

The concept of VAR is good. But its inconsistent applications , couple with bad officiating is the issue.
And that is why most of the African countries are angry, cos they are the worst it by this unfortunate situation at the women world cup.

FIFA was busy doing massive PR to promote the Women world cup and they entirely ignored the officiating aspect which has been historically bad, even before VAR came in.

The men's world cup had its own VAR issue, but it wasn't as worse as this.

I think the problem here generally is bad officiating and the inconsistent applications of the rules, and wrong interpretation of the rule sometimes.

An example was the indirect freekick in the box against Cameroon that resulted into the first of England. That was clearly not a back pass, and in a men's game, the referee won't even rule that as a foul. It was Cameroon overall behavior in that game, that made people to forget that aspect in that match, and allow the referee to somehow get a pass at the bad job she did , in that game.

So if FIFA wants us to take women's game serious, they should also work on the officiating, the way the do for the men's game, cos that is the only aspect that refuse to improve

When I saw those goals I remembered Samu. I think he can score like that with his left foot.
Another question you should be asking is that, will he be giving that kind of acres of space the other guy had to shoot?

FIFA will come down hard on them, FIFA doesn't joke with ref but that's poor sportmanship from Cameroon
Nothing will happen to them bro. Is not as if the officiating was great. And the fact that the black community are good at playing racism victim card, they will just turn it on FIFA head. The least FIFA will do is to fine their FA with some money. But banning them is unlikely. FIFA itself is politics, so they will use their head, especially when people are divided on the issue

Going by the Highway robbery and Kidnapping that is plaguing that road, Traveling by Train is the surest and safest alternative. That is why I'm happy that the govt is giving the sector a massive face-lift. It will go a long way in boosting commerce and industry in the country.

Exactly. Nigerians have forgotten we have also been a beneificiary of a VAR penalty call.
The guy is wrong.

The referee in the Argentina game made the penalty call without VAR though.
