Such countries are big enough in terms of size and population to sustain an isolation and an isolated economy. Such countries end up becoming sanction proof and learn to be self reliant and become even what they initially dont want them to be, which is become more powerful.

Sanctions only work on small population countries effectively.

We have good midfielders in the Under-21s but no quality wingers, strikers, or defenders. That is why you can have close to 60% possession in a game and still lose 6-1.

There's a reason why the Academy hasn't produced quality defenders for the first team in years.
