@timifakay. Have for a scan tool. Would do that so e other time. But bear in mind that this misfiring stuff occurred at 149F FFD.
But still remember, operating temperature is approx 100°C.

The misfiring doesn't just happen and stop at a time... It's usually continuous till rectified
Operating temperature is a range not a single temperature value.

Sir, please look for a car that that still has factory specs cooling system and run a live scan, monitor the coolant temperature to understand what everyone has been saying. Thank you.

Once I get to Ibadan toll gate anytime I'm coming in from Lagos or Osun I have to change my orientation and be more careful because they start popping out from every corner.
Micra is an interesting car to drive and I get tempted to make those maneuvers when I'm driving it too. grin

Please set your trip counter to zero or note the current odometer reading before the next time you go to work and note the value when you park at home at the end of the day, after the return journey; to know what your daily commute distance is.
Try and notice your average and top speed while on the highway is too.
With this we can calculate what your daily fuel consumption is.
#10,000/145= 68liters.
If you travel to work 5 days a week,
68liters/5days = 13.8liters per day
This (13.8liters) should be enough for over 100km as the online report says the car should consume 12.2liters per 100km.

I have tried to understand the real difference between driving in Sport (S), Economy (E) or Over Drive (O/D). I have read about it but it just seems to confuse as I have not gotten the tangible difference between in all those gear selection.

Which is more economical when it comes to fuel consumption ?
S, E or O/D

Which ensure smoother gear transmission and speed?

Sport mode is meant for driving conditions when fuel economy is not as important as speed, i.e when you want to accelerate and attain top speed rapidly.
Economy is when you are more concerned about using the minimum amount of fuel, therefore you want even acceleration to prevent sharp braking. This way the car accelerates and drives without demanding for too much power from engine in order to achieve best fuel consumption rate.
Overdrive is when want to achieve highest gear ratio thereby allowing car move as fast as possible without engine being overworked.
Cruise control is what allows driver set a minimum speed for the car, therefore when engaged the car would automatically compensate to move at that speed except brake is applied to reduce speed.

Therefore Sport and Economy are drive modes while overdrive is maximum gear and cruise control is driver assist.

Well, they did not use any tool at all. It was just the 'Kazeem' approach.

Unfortunately, I went to quite a few of them and they provided several 'solutions' which eventually failed.

And lots of money wasted.

For peace of mind and long term solution go to a workshop with the right tools and skill set within your state or city before spending more money.

I was told there is no leakage. That the compressor I bought is totally bad now. That I need to get a new system; compressor, condenser, filter, etc, etc.

Someone quoted 70k and another is saying 50k.

What diagnostic tools were used to test and arrive at these conclusions?

Request for Uv dye to be put into your system. This will help detect point of leakage(s).
Use of guage when filling up with refrigerant is important too this will help confirm the right amount is filled...

Greetings gurus. Pls recently my car (toyota camry pencil light automatic) broke down and refused to move. On putting it on drive or reverse, it makes a clanking sound. my mechanic said it was the gearbox, which I changed immediately. But after changing the gearbox, I have noticed the car refuses to accelerate beyond 80km /hr. I was told to clean d gearbox filter which I have done bt no improvement. Wat could be the problem? Ur advice really needed.

Here is my observation from your post:
1. You have a car, one it broke down and stopped moving. When put in reverse or drive it would make a sound but won't move.
2. This made you replace the transmission and it started moving but won't go beyond 80kmph.
3. You then changed the transmission oil and filter in the new gearbox but there was no improvement.

Since the car started moving after gearbox replacement it is safe to assume the old gearbox got spoilt. (Were there any signs it was dying such as jerking or delay while changing gears?).
I will assume the replacement is a used/ Tokunbo and two things are involved it is either not a perfect fit for the engine or faulty and dying out as well.
So I think you still need to replace your transmission if that's the case.

Yea, I have used it before.
It's synthetic: prevents build up of sludge in the engine.
7000miles max, depending on condition / total distance covered by the engine.

Nairalanders have done more than enough for me bro. The good advice I got from NL has guided me appropriately to take the right steps. The lawyer advised that I demand for a replacement. The Driver/Police are currently begging me to take the option of repair.

Get a claim assessor/ loss adjuster or a registered automobile repair company to inspect and write a report on the state of the car for you to back up why replacement is the only option.

Does the fan work atm?

i'm a DIYer at heart and i always keep looking for easier, cost friendly means of solving issues...i dropped an idea some days back for a very cheap and energy efficient light source for the house.

i'm back again.

This time it's a solution for really expensive batteries. bottom line is how to get battery at a very cheap rate... although this may need some level of electrical circuitry knowledg and maybe importing some parts...but its cheaper eventually and scale-able. I am talking about the TESLA POWER WALL!!! ( IF YOU CAN GOOGLE OR YOUTUBE, CHECK "DIY TESLA POWER WALL WITH 18650" this battery uses li-ion cells.

iv watched people assemble batteries up to 30Kwh!! For comparison, a 200ahr battery is nominally around 2.2Kwh. and there is a premium product sold using this idea clled tesla power wall

Old phone battery works well for that your set up. It lasts for like forever and you dont have to condemn any USB cord because you continue charging like it has the battery that came in it from factory.
In other news my 200w solar, 30a cc, 1000w inverter and 200ah battery set up is over a year and waxing strong...

Bikes have the LGA ### Q* number plate i.e for a bike the 2 letter part is usually Q*, it can be anything else for private cars except X* which is for commercial vehicles which is usually colour red.

LGA- 3 letter Local Government Area Headquarters abbreviation
