I doubt this story for the following reasons
1. The discoloration around the eyes appear symmetrical
2. I assume heavy blows to the eyes will leave anyone with red eyes (blood stains in the eyeball)
3. No burst lip or broken nose
4. The attack was on Christmas day and post was on 31st, yet painted nails are still intact
5. She was beaten on 25th, locked up for 2 days- till 27th- the man ran off on sighting her mother (when was he arrested and charged to court? Friday was 30th Dec)
6. How come, after heavy beating and being locked up for 2 days, she's already fit to be home under 4 days of treatment?
But if the story is true, I hope her kids would not be like their parents.

The panel and battery are small, what determines your need is amount of appliances and run time not size of apartment as you are hammering on you setting it up for a single room.
You should note also that the runtime listed for those devices was when connected individually and it was from 100% charge to about 10% charge, whereas for longevity of your battery you shouldnt go below 50% charge except on very rare occasions. That is why the least advisable battery size is 200ah and over 200w solar panel if you will be using as much as 50% of d battery between sunset and sunrise.

I believe you have confirmed it didn't trip off due to overload, find out what could cause the early damage and prevent such from happening to ur inverter

According to what I read, if the Watt rating of panels are the same thing then they have the same outputs, therefore a poly crystalline panel will be bigger than the monocrystalline panel of the same Watt rating because the mono cells are more efficient than the poly. But the bigger size of poly makes up. What matters is the actual rated output being what the sticker says.

thanks for the response guys,but i was actually given the batteries,they are fairly used telecomms batteries...secondly i was thinking of getting a smart charger of at least 30amps or 50amp to charge the batteries...truth b told dont have much on me at the moment to acquirer an inverter,thats y i want to go for a UPS first...but i need advices concerning whether the ups will work or not and what range of ups is ideal,remember i plan to get a smart charger for the charging..

Okay, the smart charger should do, but research well on best choice before going to the market, the load you are planning is too much for ups, I don't think the ups can provide enough power to start a fridge no how small it is, with time u will move to more energy saving appliances (fans) and remember to unplug laptops when fully charged, it will help conserve battery.

The bitter truth is that you have put the cart before the horse.
Since you spent so much on batteries, endeavour to get a good inverter that has setting for gel, flooded, VRLA battery with charging capacity as high as 50a, note the wattage of each device and multiply by hours each should run and then sum all up. Multiply 500ah by 12 to know total energy stored, sum of energy your appliances need should be less than half of what your battery bank can give out, check the link in my signature for clearer explanation. I got the UPS, connected it to LifePo4 battery, used it for 30mins then next thing I saw was smoke coming from the wire that connected the battery to the UPS I touched d wire, wire, thing burnt me. I quickly disconnected and checked if any wire was bridging inside the UPS but everything was fine.
I connect just my laptop to the UPS, and FYI, the wires still get hot when nothing Is connected to the UPS.
AND also there are two customised fans inside the UPS(its the wire that gets Hot not the UPS)
PLS HELP!

Replace the wire with thicker one made of pure copper.

let me give you my experience.
I bought a second hand 100aH battery, a 1000watt car inverter and the 20ah smart charger.
we only get electricity between the hours of 1.30am and 5am every day. during that time I charger my battery nonstop.
by 5pm I put on the inverter. it carries
1. 5 energy saving bulbs
2. two rechargeable fans
3. a Gotv decorder.
4. a portable DVD player with large TV screen.

of the bulbs at least 2 is on all the time as well as the rechargeable fans though not at full speed; the battery drains faster on that. the recorder and TV is on all the time. there is a plethora of phone and other chargers that are on as well.
I switch off everything by midnight when I'm about to go to sleep. thus I get 7 hours of electricity from my setup. I have two big generators I have not used in two weeks.
the moral of the story is the setup works and I also save on fuel.

I have an extra 20ah charger I want to sell when I find where I packed it; being looking for it for a while.

It's better to base your recommendation on number of appliances than house size. I may have a 500w washing machine or want to power an AC in my single bedroom apartment.

Charge controller should be rated in Ampere (A) and not Amphour (AH).

System is now over 6 months old, average of 4 hours supply every night... Calculate the cost buying 4 liters of fuel daily for that period and a great bulk of the system is paid for.

If possible don't use the car battery to power anything at night or just very few LED bulbs, because car batteries are designed to provide high energy in short time, deep cycle is steady energy for extended period. Moreover even a deep cycle battery of 75ah will easily get stressed out not to talk of a car battery.
And make sure get a deep cycle battery ASAP.

It depends on ur runtime sha, but I will advice you do an evaluation of your consumption to be sure you dont have some redundant load wasting ur energy.

Questions to ask are the exact power consumption and run time (energy consumption) of all devices, what time of the day you want to use the heaviest devices (fridge and pumping machine) and how frequently- for pumping machine. You should be ready shed some devices at certain times of the day to save cost...
