Kaduna State Governor, Sir Patrick Yakowa By John Shiklam The Kaduna State Government has announced a 24-hour curfew in the state following reprisal attacks which left a number of people dead. The curfew hours start with immediate effect and until further notice. The attacks were carried out by angry christian youths following suicide bomb attacks on three churches in Kaduna and Zaria on Sunday morning. The curfew was announced after an emergency security meeting presided over by the state governor, Sir Patrick Yakowa, which held at the Government House, Kaduna. In a statement announcing the curfew from the Special Adviser to the governor on media and publicity, Mr Reuben Buhari, the Governor condemned the unfortunate bombing of three churches in Wusasa in Zaria Local Government, Sabon Gari Local Government, and Trikania, Chikun Local Government, Kaduna State. The statement further said: "His Excellency, while regretting the unfortunate incident conveys his deepest condolence and sympathy to all those affected in the bombing." It added: "Government regrets the inconveniences this drastic measure will cause to all and sundry. But the state government considers this to be necessary in order to avert further loss of lives and properties in the state. "The State Government has directed security agencies to enforce compliance." Sunday's triple bombings in Kaduna is coming a wake after a similar attack in Jos and Biu, which left over 10 persons dead.

Literature › Re: 'my Names Are', Or 'my Name Is' by Timijo(m): 10:40pm On May 23, 2012
Wallie: My “name is" is the most correct form even if you want to list your alias because "name" is a collective noun for your person. Your "name" is whatever people call you even if it "Zebrudia Okonkwo 430." The only time I could see using "names" is if you're purposely trying to denote that you have a variety of names that different people know you by.

Fati99: This question has been plaguing me for months and I would kindly like the well versed in English Language help me out.

Ekaabo is welcome but please what is Ekujoko in English Language? Our cleaner at the office said "welldone" and that doesn't make sense, imagine sitting down for hours waiting to see a person and then someone/the secretary tells you "welldone", it is annoying while my funny brother says it is "welldone sitting", lol.

So, Esteemed Nairalanders, what is Ekujoko in plain English or how do I greet someone who's been sitting for hours probably at the office/party etc Ekujoko.

The correct answer (adjudged by all) gets a recharge card, =N=500 any network.

UPDATE:
Wow, so many attempts. Thanks everybody but in my opinion geosegun is the closest and quite a number of people agree. At least I can always say "Thanks for being patient or thanks for your patience, the MD will see you in a moment". He is deserving of the recharge card or what do you guys think? Please choose/like the best answer.
You can say sit back or sit tight. Any of the 2 is correct.

Finecat: Why Won't Boko Haram Bomb?? You have a president who is as Clueless as Dummy in office. BH knows they can get away with it, so why not do it?? Islamic Terrorist tried the same thing with George W Bush in 2001 when they flew planes inside the NY trade centers, Bush seriously dealt with them by taking the fight to where they came from (Afghanistan and Iraq). 11 years later, USA has not been attacked or Bombed and Osama Bin Dead! Can GEJ do the same thing?? Nope! The guy is a complete Dummy. The only language Islamic Terrorist understand is Violence! Top Govt. Officials knows the people behind these Bombs, Arrest them, try them and summarily execute them. And i bet you, we will not hear of anymore Bombs. But No, Nigerians are afraid of an inevitable civil war should these bombings continue.
Those saying that PDP is BH are not helping matter at all. Infact, they are objects of confusion. Why saying what you don't know? The looser of the 2011 election vowed to make the tenure of GEJ ungovernable and indeed he is doing what he said. But he has forgotten that God reigns and his days are numbered. If a northern man has emerged has president, there wouldn't have been any BH. What amaze me is that many christians that suppose to support GEJ and the nation with prayers have now b'com critics. This is what a hausa man will never do. You we hear them (hausas) saying "Namu ne" meaning, he is our own i.e. Our son. My complaints and yours cannot stop the act of terrorism, but God can. TheShopKeeper: Copy and paste condemnation statement. I guess there is a file in Dr Abati's folder where this kind of statement is stored for future and urgent use.
When will the president ever open his mouth and condemn these senseless acts by the those intend on causing terror in the country.
Now we know who is really in charge in this country. I have said it many times, GEJ hasn't got any leadership skills to govern this nation.
Do you think GEJ is happy with what is happening in the country?

recent developments has proven what peeps like me has always said that PDP=Boko Haram (courtesy NSA).
Since the retardeen is the leader of PDP, this also suggest that he is also the leader of Boko. No wonder he has the name of sponsors and yet none of them is yet to be arrested. lets pray that the June deadline he gave his blood-sucking members to stop this bloodshed will hold. PDP/Boko needs blood and that explains their viciousness of recent
