I'm at a loss as to how things happen so fast these days. I had a crazy s é x on cool night with a young man for just about ten minutes and the next thing I see myself pregnant. How can this happen to me? Why should I find myself in such a shameful situation? Am I the first woman to have s é x with a young boy? The thing that bothers me most is this s é x machine (he's very good) is my daughter's boyfriend. Right now I wish to have him all to myself. But how am going to handle my daughter is the problem. She claims they are in love with with each other but herlover couldn't say no when I ask him to sleep with me. It was as ifhe wanted me more than I wanted him. My daughter is just 21 and my age is double of hers cos I was almost 21 when I gave birth to her. Her father is gone and the responsibility of taking care of her was all mine. I gave her a good life as much as my income could carry and she's ok. My headache is this pregnancy. Her boyfriend didn't know am pregnant for him and my daughter has no idea we are seeing each other. The only man in my life right now is married with wife and three kids. I know I've made mistakes but I've read other people's stories on NL and I felt I could get some help here that's why am asking for help. What is the best option for me cos abortion is not an option? Should I take this sweet boy from my daughter and ask her to let go since am her mother? After all she can get another young guy todate. Or I should give the pregnancy to the married man am dating? But I don't think I want to leave this sweet boy for my small girl. |

I want u to knw dat as u don't want to make mistake, so also she doesn't want. It is nt dat she doesn't love u, but wen it comes to marriage, wise ladies don't rush to choose because they don't want to enter into wrong home. I wil suggest u give her time to pray, don't rush her to make decision. If she belongs to u, u can't miss her. I wil also advice u to also pray about it so dat u wil nt carry d wrong rib. Cöncerning ur finance, I wil advice u nt to trust ur finance as a key to having a happy home but trust God and sees Him as ur source. If u are waiting 4 d tym dat u wil b financially buoyant, u may never marry. |

Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Wednesday overpowered the hard fighting Police Machine Football Club 2-0 in a friendly match at the FIFA Goal Project pitch in Abuja. The Police Machine team, currently the FCT Federation Cup champions, failed to ‘arrest’ the better coordinated Eagles, who used the tie to continue their buildup for next week’s friendly against Niger Republic, and next month’s Nations Cup qualifier against Liberia. Enyimba’s Uche Kalu scored the curtain raiser with a perfectly taken free kick in the 31st minute, while Sanusi Sanni of Gombe United netted the second goal in the 89th minute to seal victory for the senior national team. Eagles’ goals did not come that easy, as the FCT side made up of entirely serving policemen took an early fight to the national team. But, they were repelled by the back four of Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwueke, Papa Idris and Juwon Oshaniwa. After five minutes into the tune up encounter, the Eagles midfield, anchored by Gabriel Reuben and Solomon Jabason seized the initiative and attacked their opponents with short and crisp passes. Early chances fell on Kalu’s laps inthe 5th, 7th and 20th minutes, but he wasted them, while Reuben equally blasted wide from 40yards in the 15th minute. Newcomer, Benjamin Francis’ clever chip narrowly veered off target in the 24th minute and leftthe scanty crowd animated. Eagles’ goalkeeper for the first half, Daniel Akpeyi was practicallyon holiday for greater part of the stanza. An opening goal was imminent in the 30th minute, when Oshaniwa’s overlapping run fromthe left flank was harshly halted, and referee Aniete wasted no time in awarding a direct free-kick from about 20 yards. Kalu stepped forward to blast home the kick for the Nigerian team. Sunday Mba and Ejike Uzoenyi took time to waste more scoring opportunities after the goal, before the Police team forced a goal-line clearance from Oboabona in the last minute of the half, which ended 1-0. Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi, featured an entirely fresh team inthe second half, as goalkeeper Moses Ocheje made an early save from Kabiru Ismail, while Abdul Garba and Godwin John all of Police Machine also caused some moments of tension on the Eagles’ bench. However, 3SC’s midfielder, Philip Asuquo and Sanni of Gombe United were the heroes of the second stanza. Nigeria Premier League, NPL top scorer, Sibi Gwar, was pulled out midway into the half by Keshi, while Asuquo’s command of the midfield and Sanni’s deft touchesin the attack troubled the police team. It was no surprise when Asuquo and Sanni, aided by the experience of Izu Azuka combined beautifully for Sanni toblast home the second goal moments before the referee’s final whistle in the 89th minute. Keshi said he has observed some problems in the squad, and will make the necessary corrections before the friendly against Niger Republic next Wednesday in Niamey. |

By Okey Ndiribe ABUJA — Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, has described Christians and Muslims as people with common values and beliefs as contained in their holy books. Maku in Abuja, yesterday, at a dinner hosted by Ufuk Dialogue Foundation to promote peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the country, identified respect for human life as one of the shared value for both religions, adding that those who truly believe in God must not willfully harm others. He urged adherents of both religions and African traditional religion to learn to live together in peace andharmony. He said with inter-religious harmony, Nigeria could become a testimony to the rest of the world on how people of different faiths could live together peacefully. He said if the Northern part of the country lags behind as a result of the current insecurity plaguing the region, the rest of the country would be negatively affected. He advocated dialogue as the only way forward for leaders at different levels of the nation to promote peaceand understanding. In his remarks on the occasion, Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State identified suspicion between adherents of the two major religious groups as a major factor fueling insecurity in the country. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/08/islam-christianity-share-common-tenets/ |
