Unfortunately, this incident will leave some innocent citizens who were at the bank dead some others injured while majority of the others will suffer varying degrees of trauma. It so sad that we lie to ourselves that we practice democracy. Truth is that we are in total anarchy in this country. |
Unfortunately not true |

Like you received a different training or orientation other than the ones your predecessors had ![]() Tueeh!! |
It is obvious that Buhari doesn’t care about the havoc caused by these ‘herders’ (there may even be a grand scheme who knows maybe a form of guerilla war fare who knows ) even more sad is that Makinde seems to have been bought over by the Fulanis. Either ways, Yoruba ronu. No one has the monopoly of violence. Defend yourselves. Farmers should unite, arm themselves too and be ready to defend each other. IF NEED BE, attack first! Going to report to the police often times have yielded no results. Even they too fear their Fulani pay masters. Use dem as manure for the farmlands they seek to destroy. Na who Dey alive fit farm o! Yoruba ronu o. |
Yes Remove it. Try for a baby when you are ready. |
We always only so slow to come to terms with reality. Legalizing marijuana is good thing. It does not mean that every one will begin to smoke it. It however means you can regulate it. As alcohol legal reach, no be every body Dey drink am...but it is taxable, every body benefits. |
oz4real83:Seconded |
Who are we fooling? All these lawmakers just use us as them like ni |
Damn it Mehn. What’s the point of being a Nigerian when foreigners can’t come in and at least give us respect on our land. They come in and don’t follow laws, destroy things, plunder is and repatriate every penny back to their home countries. Who we offend as a people? Local communities that should be benefiting from these oil companies are suffering daily. ‘Unemployment rate is high, turn to farming’ yet no one is safe on their farms. If it’s not killer herdsmen or bandits, it’s killer oil spillage. It is extremely sad that we claim to be giant of Africa. Yet multinationals behave better when they are in countries like South Africa, Botswana or Angola than they behave in Nigeria. Utter disregard for our laws and our people. Yet we remain a toothless giant. A ‘cloutless’ Nation. Na part of why north Dey do shakara with food be this. Nonsense and Buhari ![]() |
I am not surprised any more. Sowore wey go court yesterday with him babalawo, e get why Any loseguarding for this country, na gone too soon remain. |

Sadly true. |
Those I do feel sad for in all of these charade I are the everyday soldiers who are out there in the jungle being betrayed by their own superiors, set up by the local communities they are trying to defend, ambushed and killed by supposed bandits and terrorists armed with government money. Who no go no know. We thought with Jonathan we had seen the worse, especially with the Chibok girl propaganda and all of the corruption scandals. Yet here we are holding Buhari’s beer. We can blame PDP for a 16year supposed failure, Buhari has managed to outdo that record in 6years. To call Him a colossal failure would merely be stating the obvious. So sad for the kidnapped victims. Unfortunate pawns I dare say. We can only hope you get back to your parents soon. Unfortunate that many of you would be raped before then. But we will always keep hope alive, a lamp is on in hopes you return soon. |

On one hand, I feel for the SUG president. But there’s much to be desired on his part. I don’t blame those who accuse them of being used by the management...that is usually the case. The SUG as a body (NANS) is supposed to be a strong pressure group pursuing the interests of students and indeed youths in the country. What we have however found over the years is that NANS is a political tool in the hands of the school management, state government (state owned unis) the federal government and of course the highest paying politicians. At a time like this, the SUG ought to have spoken up. At least let’s know your stand. Make demands and back it up by actions. To the students, organize yourselves, clean your hostels(though mostly impossible without water) clean your classes too (afterall na una dirty the place). Where all of these is not possible, pressure the SUG declare a suspension of academic activities until school becomes habitable. Until all warring parties have been settled and normalcy has returned to the campuses. Here is my 5cents. Will be expecting 3 cents in change. ![]() |

Pot calling kettle black. Who is he investigating? You should be investigated mr commissioner!!! |
Nigerians should wake up. No responsible government will negotiate with criminals (terrorists, Kidnappers). What we have here is a set of criminals (Nigerian government) creating job opportunities for themselves and their fellow colleagues in the streets ( killer herdsmen, bandits, Kidnappers) and sharing money amongst themselves. Nigerians wake up, you are your own government!!! |
