This is not true. There's nothing northern about Benue. They share nothing similar with the north, they are all Christians, culturally they are unique as well. The Idoma's of Benue share more similarities in culture and tradition with the Igbos than any other ethnic group, they answer the same names and have the same market days with the Igbos.
