Try Zenith any day. They did a bankwide stafff promotion December ending (an evidence of good performance in the bank) and the bank is not involved in any question of instabilty or system crisis. The staff maintain a culture of 5 minutes max turn-around time for general transactions. We hate queues in our banking halls. Its in your best interest. |
Hi Bizzbooks. Appreciate the job you are doing. Kindly send me a copy of the mail to contactnnaemeka@yahoo.com. Thanks. |

There are movies you'd watch and never forget about them till old age. I really enjoyed: 1. Nneka the Pretty Serpent (I don't know how she vanished off the acting scene ever since) 2. Rattlesnake Part 1, 2 and 3. (The 3rd part is my favourite) ![]() 3. Glamour Girls (Starred Liz Benson, Sola Fosudo, e.t.c) 4. Living in Bondage 5. Mission to Nowhere (A relatively recent movie that is different from the normal Nollywood movies in that it had a complex plot so you couldn't predict the movie till the very end). 6. Osuofiason (Igbo comedy sha but it was subtitled in English) Nollywood was better in the olden days. These days we rather sacrifice quality for quantity. Wasting a whole lot of time in lengthening the films so that it can be split into part 1 and 2 (or 3 sef), when the story in itself is just washed-up, dry and recycled. I wont blame them since the whole story-writing thing is completely unregulated and anybody can just cook up anything and sell it off to the producer. ![]() |
I've been on Glo Infinito (*103*1*1#) for the past 2 months plus and I haven't been disappointed. I even prefer using my Glo line to call other networks. Glo to MTN is even cheaper than calling MTN to MTN. I wonder how come? And Glo calls hardly disappoint (clarity and it hardly drops). I prefer Glo sha (15kobo/sec or N9/min Glo to Glo or 25kobo/sec Glo to other networks). ![]() |
We cant just simply print new money and force it into the system like that. That is what the CBN is always trying to prevent when it is said they are mopping up excess liquidity in the system by issue new bonds. When there is excess money in the system, consumers tend to spend and extravagantly leading gradually to a general increase in the price of goods and services (inflation). It sounds bookish but it is true. Like it or not, when there is excess money in the system, everything becomes expensive. That is what happened to Germany during WW2. The Reich govt was printing money indiscriminately to support their war effort till the economy got soo inflated and German Mark so worthless. It is said that a woman then once went out to buy a loaf of bread. It was so expensive that she had to carry the money to buy the bread in a wheel-barrow. At the bakery, she momentarily left the money and barrow to go inside. Somebody then came and stole the barrow and left the pile of money there. Cos it was of no use to him. By the way, don't you think that if some people are allowed to print money as they like, wont they be tempted to also print their own personal share abi allocation. And after printing this money, how will it be introduced into the economy? As what? By whose authority? |
I'm from Ezinihitte-Mbaise, Imo state. A lot of talented people have their roots in Mba5: Genevive Nnaji, Eucharia Anunobi, Okey Bakassi, Dauda, Rita Dominic, Jegede Sokoya ( of New masquerade), Frank Nnaji (Founder ABC transport), e.t.c. The much I can remember for now. Plus our reputation for seeking advanced education. We dey try small sha. ![]() |
BookFace, what do you stand to gain from all these? Honestly, what is it? ![]() |
The first time I didn't personally use the net. That was in 2002 around March, when I had to send an E-mail to an Uncle of ours residing in the US who had extended some financial assistance to us. Then people the doing the E-mail business would charge you around N50 to send one E-mail and I thought it'll rather be cheaper than making the international call I later followed a friend to all-night browsing and then opened my first E-mail addy on mail.com Everbody don dey use Yahoo then I no wan join d crowd. My serious browsing came came in a funny way. We were in class 2nd Yr (around March 2003). People where making noise in the class when d lecturer (one First class material like that Dr. Iyke Okoli) got angry and there and then gave us four wicked sounding micro-organisms to go and do research on (Acanthamoeba castellani, Naegleria fowleri and two others I can't remember now). I had to do all-nite for about 1 week non-stop. Na there my hand come strong for browsing. I never looked back since then. I still d hail d lecturer as d person that introduced me to the net proper. ![]() |
I thank God that finally, my country Nigeria is to be feautured in the Guinness Book of records in a good way. Thank God that finally at least something like electricity supply has finally improved tremendously in my area, such that anytime I come home from work in the evening, there is always power supply. I thank God for providing a visionary leader who knows how to do things without making too much noise; who takes time out to even chat wih his people on Facebook. I thank God for all the many things He has been doing for our country, too numerous to mention and pray that he continues to bless the country in many more ways. Father, I pray that you continue to bless us, and for those who can never see anything good about my country, may they continue to never see anything good about the country and may the country never see anything good about them. As they sit down in their armchairs and post nothing but blind senseless criticisms about my country, may the country also turn a blind eye to them. Father bless those who bless Nigeria and CURSE THOSE WHO CURSE NIGERIA. As they stay from afar and see only the good things in other countries, may the blessings which you would have reserved for them be passed on to us here who try the best we can to move our Nation foward. Bless us now and always. This and many more we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. |
If you have a Zenith savings account, simply tell the Customer Service person that you wish to upgrade ur Savings account, get two references from any two Current account holders from any bank and you are good to go. However dividend warrants can only be paid into accounts that have been running for at least 6 months. CBN policy. |
Hi Dammiedex. I'm just starting, what neat vehicle can I get for N200,000 - 240,000. Thanks. |
Hi Layonz. I'm seriously interested in the CPQ PRE CQ61 but what I can afford is N75,000. If its Ok, I'm willing to pay today. Kindly give me ur reply ASAP. 07065385462 |
Because of the limit placed by CBN on deposit rates, you can't get above 0.5% for sums below N10M for now. But hopefully the rates are likely to increase in the near future. |
Kobo I see u enjoy watching urself speak in d name of making contributions. However before u begin ranting away pause and think over what u wish to say before u end up contradicting urself. E dey vex. |
This Kobojunkie & Co. sef. You people should get your acts right and make meaningful comments rather than spouting off hot air that is neither here nor there and doesn't hold water. You said one should go to the Ministry of Information website and see that she has failed as a Minister. You. You tell me: what are those duties assigned to her or which fell under her purview as a minister that she failed to do? You go and copy crap posted by another biased poster (not even an independent publishing) and come to tender it as evidence that she has lost face in d eyes of d Nigerian public? She hasn't in d least bit. Her ministry introduced the re-branding project (Good People, Great Nation; I am a great person that I know) to see that at least we change the perception other parts of the world have about us, yet it is comments such as yours which work very hard night and day to see that our image redemption do not see the light of the day. I was yet to see ur bigger untruth till u said that she 1. Worked to ensure that Yar' Adua remain in power. 2. Ensure that constitution is followed bla bla bla 3. Project herself as the voice of Nigerians e.t.c. Tell me: Dora Akunyili as Information minister comes out to issue a memo requesting the President (her boss) to clarify once and for all his state of health so that everyone'd know if to appoint an acting president in d meantime or expect the president Yar'Adua to come and resume duties in d nearest future if he says he is well enough. If u must know, all those FEC meetings d ministers had been holding before Jonathan took over were all exercises in futility because there was no President to ratify whatever contracts or recommendations they made. Now tell me for goodness sake how she was working to ensure that Yar'Adua remained in power. That Senator who quoted the part of the constitution stating Nigeria's motto Unity and Faith, said that Dora by her actions was causing a threat to d Unity of this nation. Well he failed to complete that quote. We also have Peace and Progress. How do we progress when we do not know who actually is running this country and when everybody is kept in d dark on d state of their president's health? Very embarrassing. And Mrs Akunyili was right by her actions. Kobojunkie & co, you should get ur facts and analysis right when u say d things u say. If actually u reside where u state ur location to be, Nigeria wasn't good enough for u abi? Then continue staying there. Leave this small place for us to manage abeg. For all the Dora haters, Thank God ur prayers were not answered. The woman is an achiever. Just get used to d fact, and try to sit down and think properly before u begin to type. |
Jamace I agree with u on the ignoble role being perpetrated by the petroleum marketers. Which is why I feel we may need such unconventional and avant-garde operators as Dora Akunyili who are not afraid to risk life or limb in the pursuit of their duties. She can sanitize the Petroleum industry in much the same way she did the drugs market when she headed NAFDAC, although her administration should now come through the Petroleum ministry rather than NNPC. She will still make an impact all the same. Dora is a radical achiever and should be assigned to any of those strategic non-performing ministries such as Petroleum or Power. |

Larger-20 whats d prospect of securing a job of ur salary range : ) over there, having gained 3 yrs banking experience + ACCA qualification in Naija. Can one take d risk and come over? How can d transition be achieved? Besides I thought Yankee guys were supposed to be screaming about economic meltdown now. |
Which course? Try FUTO Owerri. If u r eligible for the course, u dont have to write entry exams for ur M.Sc and the school doesn't delay in completing its session. Chin up. |
It would have been more engaging and interesting if d comments posted were objective as those of Aragbesola, rather than making blanket statements that Nigeria is useless, bad e.t.c. Could be infuriating which may explain my guy's verbal attack of Beaf. One challenge I've noticed among some of us however, is the serious negative attitude being adopted by some of us here. What stops us from being happy with the fact that we've at least made some progress based on the ratings of ppl who always give bad news or create negative impressions about Nigeria and Nigerians. Quit grovelling in d mud whenever u have anything to say about Nigeria but always adopt that POSITIVE ATTITUDE and look on the brighter side of life. Nigeria is too big for u to confidently say u've experienced everything & found out that there is nothing good that can come out of Nigeria. Else why is it that we have the 2nd highest level of FDIs in SubSaharan Africa. Surely those foreign investors must have studied and confirmed that there was something to gain by coming to Nigeria. Let me tell u: ppl who always look on the downside in everything find it difficult to summon the motivation needed to set and achieve their objectives. They'd eventually turn out to be under-achievers. Be proud of where you come from and work towards upholding that pride. Never be ashamed of being a Nigerian. |
All these noise sef. 190 abi na 230, what is d evidence of ya proprietary claim to d subject in question? Pally just dey form boyfriend block everywhere. If I if I if I like now I will I will I will just approach Googles now. Abi Googles cant I chyke u again? ![]() |
