Malone122: This is strange, same dates should be available for everyone to pick. I haven't seen anyone who has experienced this before so I can't give a sure answer on what you can do but maybe you should mail the US consulate and let them know what you're going through |

omofolajomi: They probably sent a message to your mail when your appointment was cancelled, maybe you didn't see it on time. A lot of people got their appointment cancelled late last month and dates in March and April were released. The only thing you can do is apply for an emergency appointment and hope you get approved. |

Malone122: No, it can't be paid online. It's either you mail a check/money order of $350 to Sevis address or you pay at any western union branch. |

Malone122: My friend's brother who lives in UK made the payment for him with a debit card. I'm sure it should be possible in Canada also. The person should go to any western union branch and make the payment there once you've sent him your payment coupon |

GentlSummrbreez: Like I said earlier, not all school requires an English test(TOEFL) from Nigerian students because they see Nigeria as an English speaking country so most schools waive it so it depends on the school you're applying to. It means you'll write just SAT and if you perform well in it and you also have a good CGPA after evaluating your WAEC result, I don't see any reason you shouldn't be given a scholarship, you also have to check the school's requirement about getting scholarship because not all schools offer scholarship. And about the cost, I don't have an idea but since you're trying not to spend much, look for schools that don't require an English test from Nigerian students so you'll be left with only SAT to write. 1 Like |

GentlSummrbreez: Stop fooling around and change the oil in your head. So you think the email popped up without the applicant doing the necessary things? If you are going for a Bsc program, you'll take TOEFL and SAT.. If MBA, you'll take GMAT.. if going for MSc, GRE and TOEFL (some schools sees Nigeria as an anglophone country so the English test is always waived) Study each school requirements and make sure to adhere to it. You can also call them or send a mail if there are more questions, you'll surely be assisted You can also ask for funding opportunities that is financial aid that range from full ride to partial scholarship, Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Graduate Assistant. These comes with some stipend, which you have to work for of course and not hope an unusual email pop up on your timeline. 5 Likes |

Novartis: False information. The earliest available date for student visa interview in Lagos is June and I know someone who got approved for an emergency appointment on Thursday for March. Lastly, you can't got for a fall 2021 interview on November because the fall semester resumes around August/September. 3 Likes |
