Hi,
You need a transit visa if your layover is in two European countries.
When will you be traveling with Air France?

MrBammy:
Hello fam, pls do I need a transit visa if I’m flying with Air France? What flight is safest without any headache? Thank you
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by TITILOLA88: 3:03pm On Mar 09
Hi,

I paid in USD. There is somewhere on the website that asks for your currency preference i.e. you can pay in any currency (I don't know if Naira is there).
At the point you want to pay, there is an option to pay in other currencies.

I hope this helps.

ICONEB:
Hi, please did you pay in USD or Naira? The prices on their site are quoted in USD. Is there a way to change it to Naira?

Good day,
Awwwww .......no worries then. I am looking for someone traveling with Air France on 22nd of May.
All the best and congratulations 🎉

Chilexeve:
I've not booked my flight yet. Tentatively, I'll be traveling by middle of April.

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by TITILOLA88: 1:35am On Mar 06
Hi Chilexeve,

When are you traveling to Winnipeg and what airline, please?

Chilexeve:
Please, is there any whatsapp group for people traveling to or already in Winnipeg, Manitoba? If there is, I need to join.

Thank you.

Thank so much for your advice and recommendations.

My mum will vehemently refuse to be wheeled around (she believes it is only for the disabled) and that service does not come cheap. sad

She will not need assistance with her bags or any assistance with lifting things. The only assistance she will or may need is locating her gates. As she will be in more than one airport, it maybe confusing. Remember I said she has never travelled long distance across multiple airports before.

So that being said, who is traveling to Winnipeg with Air France on the 22nd of May and is willing to assist my mum?

Thanks so much to the earlier contributors on my post. God bless you.

Hi,
First of thanks. It is for my mum who will be traveling to the first time to Canada and I want a travel buddy for her
I need someone that will assist her in locating her gates since she has never travelled to Canada before.
If your cousin is willing, please let me know. Again, thank you.

Eriokanmi:
Hello, my cousin is, but on the condition that:

You don't have excess luggage to carry
You don't have any suspicious (not necessarily contraband) item you're carrying

That you're the only one travelling.

The reason I asked those questions are simple. Someone was introduced to me sometime ago. She was going for her master's degree. She had relations in Canada but had never travelled before so I was asked to help out since we're traveling along same route. I accepted cos of her aunt's kindness to us at home.

We met at the airport. Come and see luggage like someone running away from home. She also had 2 kids, lots of orishirishi packed in luggage. I started becoming a courier assistant right from the airport, yanking off my suit to help out. We landed safely and I was still same person who assisted her in taking her luggage off the carousel one after the other. I wheeled them out for her to take a cab to her location.

If you're not in that lady's description, fine. I'd ask him and revert

Hi, i totally understand you and your statement is true, the companion is not for me but my mum.
It is the first time she will be traveling such a distance and she and I will rest easy knowing someone is assisting her with reading the signs and locating her gates.
Now, back to my question, are you traveling on the 22nd of May to Winnipeg with Air France? Thanks.
Taal17:

The plane will not be empty na, why do need companion.? What are you concerned about best to share that here so others can share

Anyone you ask here is a stranger just like everyone in the plane would be

Hi, please schedule yours for the 22nd please 🥺. I need a travel buddy/companion for my mum. It is her first time traveling such a long distance.
biggybanking:

I can schedule mine to same time. I was planning 17th may though.

Correct, but you have to get membership.
You can't buy there without membership.

@ daks02,
May the land of Canada favour you and yours, in Jesus'name. Please did you get the yellow fever card to fly with Lufthansa? If yes, where did you get it?
Anybody who has flown with Lufthansa could also answer because, we travel in a few days and we don't have enough time, please.
Thank you!

Good morning people of God, does anyone have any idea how I can travel with a bucket of Shea butter?
If I travel with it as it is (in the bucket), will it not break and become messy by the time I reach Canada? Any suggestions?
As for palm and coconut oil, all I need to do is transfer it into smaller bottles and seal the mouth with cellophane, right?
Thanks!

Thank you very much! This helps a whole lot.

I live in Winnipeg. There are many good areas here generally, Pembina highway, St Mary, St Vital, St Nobert, Transcona, Bridge water, Charleswood etc. I will say the rule is the farther you are from downtown, the better.

I have been living here close to 2 years and not 1 crime heard in my area.

Most areas have school and daycare close to them. You may also need to consider proximity to shopping as well.

I hope this helps

Good afternoon landed seniors,

We are looking to land by October in Winnipeg. My main concern is, which area is good to raise a child.
I know Canada is a safe and secured place, but I really need your inputs about where I can raise my child with peace of mind, after all, it's the little Miss and her siblings we are doing this for.
Please, don't ignore a concerned mother's question.
Thank you!

Welcome to Canada! I hope everyone is okay now, I guess it's the change of environment.

Please, how did secure accommodation from Nigeria?

I pray the Lord will make a way for you!

Landing gist
One week old in Calgary today
Family of 5
We flew Lufthansa from ph to Abj,weather was so bad and we experienced turbulence all the way to Abj.flight from abj to frankfurt wasn’t bad, they kids slept all through,we had 8hrs layover at frankfurt,it wasn’t funny at all,we finally left for YYC,inflight was just there, didn’t eat any of the meal, they kids too rejected, thank God i packed their cereals
We finally landed and went through immigration,no agricultural check, came out and a friend was there to pick us up,my hubby had to follow the car carrying our luggage,we went straight to our apartment,we were able to get a 3 bedroom before arrival, best decision ever..
After 2 days the kids fell ill, cough, catarrh, fever and vomiting,it has been really tough for us,thank God for the few medications i brought from naija, fever is gone now but they are still coughing, last night i came down with serious fever up until this morning,i hope we pull through this phase asap

That's the alpha or alphanumeric characters you get when you do a reservation. Book as though you want to reserve the ticket and not online payment or choose hold your fare option, if available. Then copy out the code and proceed to their office
