For her to visit Aso Rock, Madam Patience has truly moved on from the loss of 2015.

Now, she will understand that she can enjoy her peace of mind and still be stinking rich.

Now, every Tom, Dick and Harry will no longer blame her husband for their hopelessness. grin
Strange comment...it is Patience that had moved on.....but we never let her be with plenty useless embarrassment of corruption and all those cooked up stories.

I am happy that the President has decided to tow a new path of collaboration and rapport with the former president who handed over to him peacefully and did not even bother to go to court

Shame on you and your ilks.

Supporters of criminals and looters.

We know the real critics who want a good and better Nigeria truthfully, we respect them when they criticize this government (which we do when we see the wrongs too),
Those are the ones that voted for the likes of Fela Durotoye, Hashim, Kingsley Moghalu, Sowore (and those keeping their votes for Madam Oby
, before she stepped down) etc, not the fraudsters that voted for a world renown thief, shouting and wailing in hypocrisy cos their father of looters lost an election,
those are the ones we address as children of frustration, perdition and hate.
To the true critics out there, who voted for the men they believe can truly move the nation forward, and not a recognized THIEF,
we respect, salute and stand together with you guys in criticizing some things that are not going right in our nation.
A new and better Nigeria is all we want.

Straight from wikipedia

A PBS NewsHour segment quoted American and British officials saying that former Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke might personally have organized a diversion of $6 billion (N1. 2 trillion) from the Nigerian treasury. She has been charged with responsibility for $20 billion missing from the Petroleum agency.

Imagine if the thief had won the election, this frog-eyed fellow thief would have flown back to the country claiming she has been miraculously healed from the imaginary cancer eating her opolo eyes out...
THIEVES!!
Today after 5years of the so called change Nigeria is worse off.

Strongmercy123:
Good evenin everyone. Pls I need a word of wisdom and advice from matured minds here. I’m 28 yrs I will be 29 in 2days.

I feel I’m about to make a life mistake. I have been dating my bf for 10yrs now, yes I was young and independent as at that time, the love was so sweet that we could do anything for each other. My bf left the country 5yrs ago and since then it has been long distance relationships, our communication was good.

He visited Nigeria December last yr and left the first week of January. He Begged me to wait for him again and I agreed. I’m currently pregnant and I’m scared to keep the baby, I spoke to him about it and he was happy.

Recently he is complaining of not having money and all. he has suddenly change with the way he talk to me and he doesn’t even have plans for me. He hardly calls and hardly pick my calls. I have tried to talk to him about his recent attitude and he will always end up calling me nag.

I’m thinking about going for abortion but I don’t know if it’s a great choice. He is 34yrs, pls I need advice.
First consideration...Give birth to your baby......sometimes children are difficult to get when you are married. It is better to not have married but have children than to marry and not have children. Your child will always be a source of joy to you.

No bro, no one is deceiving or paying me... Let's put this thread aside.
I have friends from Bayelsa and some people who have served in Bayelsa state. Two years ago I also watched a documentary on the poor state of primary health facilities and secondary schools in the state.. Some of the corp members posted in some of the secondary schools were lamenting of their plight in the state.

Jonathan no try at all. I know it's not possible to change everything and turn the state to paradise but at least ensure they get some of the basic amenities.
He should've used his office to ensure that the governors and other stakeholders in the state put the allocations into good use.
It is so easy to predict that someone would soon tell you that GEJ did not do this or that which makes me wonder whether stories like these are mainly designed for propaganda purposes.

GEJ attempted to do a lot STRATEGIC projects for his region amidst one of the one opposed and vilified Presidency in Nigeria...but the same factors that have held the region down prevailed. I give a few instances below;

GEJ approved Onne as the official seaport for all oil related equipment and materials which PMB changed back to Lagos.

Also GEJ approved the multi billion Naira logistic handling Port at Agge and some preliminary works were commenced .....but PMB again changed it back to Lagos which is the LADOL you hear about. It is raking in Billions in revenue and income presently. Some major vessels are doing their drydocking there.

Again GEJ set off the maritime university at Okerenkoko Delta State.....the school as part of its facilities was to host the biggest dockyard in the African sub region which would have attracted large vessels for dry dock, many new skills and improved the economy of the area. PMB has now vetoed or cancelled the Maritime University in Delta.

Again the Lagos - Calabar Coastal Railway project was proposed as a PPP project with the Chinese, and all the paperwork had been completed for the take-off.....once again PMB cancelled despite the fact that the FG was not to pay much of the cost for the project. Today that project is on voice mail.

The East West Road witnessed the most accelerated construction during the GEJ era which brought it about 70% completion in spite of the terrible challenges of terrain, budget and detractors. Under PMB the East-West Road has been abandoned completely. No work for 4 years now!!!!!

The list goes on and on...the problem of the Niger Delta is not internal...it is externally induced....otherwise tell me why Tinapa cannot work as a free trade zone

GEJ didn't do it because he is not as stupid as the fools you are supporting.

Apapa wharf gridlock is a national disaster. What has your govt done about it?

Calabar port needs dredging so that bigger vessels can berth. What has your govt done about it?

Warri and Onne ports are reported to be battling obselete infrastructure and piracy. What has your govt done about?

Onitsha seaport needs dredging to start taking vessels. What has your govt done about it?

It is only fools of wanton stupidity that would start a whole new ports while having not fixed existing ones.

Do these people have brains at all?

Illiterates dont know. Moreover, building ports in other places is always celebrated negatively by some folks who think Yorubas are responsible for their underdevelopment. There are several airports in Nigeria, how has it impacted negatively on the airport in Ikeja? Clannish thinking! Before the unscrupulous elements truncated democracy in 1966, Western region was far ahead of the other regions despite being in opposition. All the industrial estates in Lagos today were established by the Western region (Ikeja, Ilupeju among others). Nigeria dragged Western region, the land of the Yorubas backward, before now despite not being part of the government at the centre, we were competing in Africa! If you doubt me go and check some of those first this, first that, it must be the great Yoruba people. Man pass man no be by size
Unfortunately....the West and Lagos is the chief benefactor of the marginalization of the South South.

PoliticsRe: FG Approves Two New Seaports In South-South by Titogbanski: 4:48pm On Feb 11, 2020
Fake news......approves two new seaport when there are already existing ports....another way to delay the development of the region. Before they will pass budget and start all project formalities and get bogged down in one funny community issue that would now be said to have made the new port not to take off.

Logical thing to do is to.

1. Dredge the channels to Warri Port, Onne and Port Harcourt Ports etc and get them active by reparing/improving facilities. Remove the monopolistic concessionair agreements which charge super exorbitant prices.

2. Unblock all the fake FG bottlenecks making it impossible for full operation of Tinapa - the free trade zone at Calabar. E.g the lack of approval to process imports and stamp entry visas etc.

3. Pass a law that would allocate a percentage of imports to al the ports...or a category of imports. For example we should have a law that makes it mandatory for 20% of imports to pass through Onne Ports for instance or for all textile products to pass through a specific ports.

4. Take back Sapele port from the Navy who are doing nothing with it and let it be a Port.

Item 1 - 4 above are easy to achieve...infact some can be achieved overnight and with little cost or effort.

Always easy to recognize a story whose true purpose is propaganda. This is one of such.

1. First proof of propaganda; the story could easily have been titled "N5.9b water project rots in Bayelsa"....but as usual Jonathan's name must have to be dragged in to sustain the falsehood that got us where we are today. The article does not even mention that it is Jonathan that even started the project.

2. The story is concocted to make the FG look good and Jonathan and ND governors look bad. When you investigate deeply you will discover there are underlying issue at play stalling the take-off........just as there are covert issues stalling the newly constructed airport at Yenogoa not to work i.e ncca certification; just like there are issue why TINAPA cannot work.

3. The nation newspapers hardly publish positive news about the area
