What would an Ogene-Dance Group be doing in any political gathering in IBADAN,, OR SOKOTO.?? Even if the gathering was for Peter-Obi, Peter should be speaking to the People in Ibadan or Sokoto (as much as possible) in their own predominant languages and cultures.. Any Ogene group there is definitely imported, because an Ogene Performer who based there would definitely go hungry. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: An Employer Can Sue An Employee Or Former Employee In Nigeria. by tk4radi: 3:01pm On Jan 10, 2023 |
Rubyjade: An employer can sue an employee or former employee in Nigeria.
Instituting an action in court is not special or divine rights of employees or former employees.
The employer can sue an employee or former employee for the same rights and reasons an employee or former employee can sue an employer.
Sidmach Technologies Nigeria Limited vs. Onuorah Chinwe, is an example of a case where the employer sued a former employee, Onurah Chinwe
In the case, it showed that
1. an employer can sue a former employee. where the former employer acts contrary to the provision of the contract of employment.
2. where a former employee fragrantly acted outside the ambit of her right under the law.
3. an employer can sue to ask the court to affirm the actions i.e voluntary resignation of a former employee.
4. an employer can sue a former employee to stop a former employee from parading herself as a staff or employee.
5. an employer can sue to recover properties if the former employee keeps holding on to the employer's properties. i.e Car, Laptop, Identity Card, Company issued Mobile Phone etc
6. an employer can sue where a former employee is asking for more than what such former employee is entitled to as disengagement entitlements, or engaging in acts that would cause harm to the employer in making her demands. etc
7. an employer can sue former employees for harms caused or debts owned the employer or for acts or actions of the former employee upon resignation that would cause harm to the employer.
Infact in that case, the court granted all the employer's prayers and awarded costs and damages against the employee.
Happy New Year and have great week. Ok na |

The texts below (and the attached photos too), are what the Nigerian “E-Participation” Portal Used to be like, until it was shut down, and it never worked again after that. It never worked for the people, and it never worked for the government too. But funny enough... Any government that doesn't like criticisms cannot involve itself successfully in E-participation. Thus, no wonder the “E-participation Portal” didn't work in this autocratic administration, and they shut the portal down...
As seen and copied from the e-participation website before it was shut down: https://eparticipation.gov.ng/index.html“GOVERNMENT IS LISTENING”
“E-Participation allows you to play an integral role in Government services from submitting an idea you have to Government, Requesting for information from Government, Making a complain to Government through to routing neighborhood issues to the right official, and then receiving a response.” ... “Why is it important? Citizen engagement is at the core of democracy and a representative government. A world without citizen engagement is one in which government officials remain in the dark about the will of the people. That's why expanding citizen engagement through digital channels which can be accessed anytime, anywhere is vitally important. Today's citizens have high expectations about the way they interact with public sector institutions that support them. .. Whether it's to access information, share an opinion, or get updates about what's happening at a particular public sector organization, citizen engagement is all about interacting with government.”

Citizens E-Participation in Governance, (full meaning: “Electronic-Participation”), is a method of Governance where the Government engages and interact directly with the people, so frequently, and very often through a lot of varied electronic means (including social media, and SMS text messages too), and at the same time, be getting direct feedbacks from the people, rather than from Government institutions. On Monday, the 21st of May 2018, the FG officially launched the redesigned and upgraded website of the “Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), and part of the main features of the new website “was” the “E-Participation”-button which was working at that time it was launched, but the E-Participation Portal stopped working after just ONE YEAR.As at then -- just before the portal stopped working -- there were only 982 Participants on the Portal (out of the over 200million Nigerians) Nobody knew the exact reason why the E-Participation Portal was shut down, even though the “E-Participation”-button is still currently there present in the official website of the OSGF.
READ MORE ABOUT THE E-PARTICIPATION BELOW.SGF LAUNCHES CITIZEN TO GOVERNMENT PLATFORM
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on Monday 21st May 2018 officially launched the redesigned and upgraded OSGF website, http://www.osgf.gov.ng/ with a charge to web managers of Government websites to ensure that the contents are continually updated and kept up to date.
He reiterated the commitment of the Federal Government to the full operation of the Freedom of Information Act to engender transparency, openness, engagement, and popular participation of the citizens in the governance process.
He emphasised that a major achievement in the redesign project was the introduction of the e-Participation platform for citizen’s participation and engagement in governance, which has been integrated with the website. The portal will allow citizens carry out the following:
1. Request for information from Government;
2. Submit an idea to Government;
3. Lodge complaints to Government;
4. Respond to Government;
5. Report issues to Government; and
6. Give compliments to Government.
He stated that the new website was in keeping with the need to lead Ministries Departments and Agencies’ (MDAs) compliance with the dictates of Executive Order 001 on the Ease of doing Business, particularly relating to the directive for MDAs to host a functional website. He stressed that the functions and responsibilities of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation made it imperative for it to have a functional website that would deliver information about the structure, policy thrust and activities of the administration on a daily basis. QUESTIONS-AND-ANSWERS ON E-PARTICIPATION
Q: What is e-Participation. The Nigerian Government, in recognition of the need to evolve itself through reforms and modernization of its processes using information and communication technology, otherwise known as electronic government has designed an e-Participation system which will provide a platform for Government to interface with the Nigerian public through SMS using GSM phones for the purpose of monitoring or tracking the implementation of government projects.
Q: Objective of the E-Participation System The e-Participation System provides a platform for government to interface with the people through SMS on GSM phones and through internet facilities. 5. Get to know list of all Federal government projects located within a locality, and

At this point he should be looking for the best person for the job regardless of gender.
Promising to not discriminate along gender lines is way better than promising positions to women If he mentioned 50% or any percentage,, then I would have supported your stand on this. People are fed up with APC but the way this nonsense Obidient movement is going I think APC can win with less effort. This obi need matured people to lead his campaign. Also bringing tribalism is an instant suicide politically because it's not going to work. His people votes will take him nowhere. Oga,, you're still in the far past. Relax. Something has to give and we must be ready for that compromise Obi is even saying that the Subsidy is a scam. That they are not even doing Subsidy with the money they are mapping out for Subsidy. Therefore, if he removes it, Nigerians won't even feel the removal. |
