My mother has been threatening to commit suicide if I won't leave the house for her and her husband to be (my step-father to be). She gave me ultimatum of some days so I decided to call my uncle in the US and told him what was happening, he advised me to leave and get another house and he promised to pay my rent.

Two days ago he sent me 300, 000 Naira and I paid my rent 50, 000. I packed in today but my mother doesn't know my house and I'm planning to cut my mother off my life.

Popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has said she has adopted a new and younger child following her rift with her estranged adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia, IGBERETV reports.

In a video shared on her Instagram handle, the actress said she decided to adopt and train the daughter of her Hausa gateman.

This is coming after the actress lamented her relationship with Chinenye during an IG session. Etiko noted during the session that her former adopted daughter, Chinenye hurt her deeply despite all of the sacrifices she made for her to provide her with a good life. She said she bought her an iPhone 11 max, paid her school fees, bought her clothes and sheltered her.

Destiny has now come out to shade Chinenye by sharing a cute moment with the much younger girl she adopted. Etiko stated that her 'new daughter' "won’t be too wild, rude, disrespectful, ungrateful and a backbiter".

About five months to the expiration of his tenure as Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has apologised to those he might have offended while in office.

The Kaduna state governor said this in Kaduna at the commissioning ceremony of the head office of the Sultan Foundation for Peace and Development, Daily Trust reports.

LP party has never garner any tangible votes in a general election before, infact they don't have any elected person, I may be wrong ooo, ...na this party una dey do experiment with to win the presidency. Then the least voting block in Nigeria, the Igbos are promoting this party with insults and hatred. Indeed na experiment, if you know what it took APC to wrestle power from PDP, you will know that LP have not started at all. A lot is involved in presidential election beyond rhetorics and misplaced emotions.

OBI never formed alliance with any party, or politician, the party has no political structure, no history with lack of fund and people with the right political weight.
