BusinessGTB Is Now Opening Unsolicited Accounts For Unsuspecting Customers Unawares by tk4rd(op): 6:40am On Jul 31, 2019
The latest trick now coming from the GTBank is that they are opening GTB accounts for people unawares.
It happened to me, and I am not happy...
Take my case for instance, I didn't fill any GTB form whether at office or at home or anywhere, I have never dialled their *739# or whatever code which they shared on hand-fans to people, I didn't even collect the hand-fan immediately I noticed it belonged to GTB.
I have never been to any of the GTB branches for anything for more than three years now, not even to pay into another person's account, nor even to use their ATM., yet GTBank went ahead and created an account for me, and sent the account number to my phone, and requested that I supply my BVN to them.
I got alerted in my sixth-sense, that some scammers have remembered my phone number and wanted to scam me in the guise of GTB.. I laughed it off.
But on a second thought, I started wondering if the account number was scam, or whether it was actually real.
I decided to transfer money into it using my bank's mobile app, so as to see the name that will come out on it.
Lo and behold, it was my name there on the account.. And it means that GTB already has my name and some other information about me in their database, even when I have practically nothing to do with them.
That means, for real,, GTBank actually opened the account for me. But how did they get my name.?
I am really wondering how information about me got to them in the first place.
In fact, who are the people that breached their privacy policy and shared information about me, including my phone number to GTB?? How many other firms and groups and individuals (whether good or bad) had these same people shared information about me to apart from GTB?
My fellow Nairalanders, believe me, I feel so unsecured and electronically raped right now at this very moment.
As it is now,, Whichever firm is it that sold (or shared, or gifted) information about unsuspecting innocent citizens of this country to GTB (and to any other unknown firms yet), had committed a grave atrocity by going against the privacy of their clients/customers.
Funny enough, it wasn't only me they opened such accounts for. They did it to so many people, and a greater percentage of them had been ranting on their social media handles and timelines. Other people kept mute and ignored it altogether, thinking that it is nothing.
But to me, it is a big “Something”. I see something very huge and very very bad about it.
This just means that, very soon all the other banks and Insurance Firms and many other firms we know nothing about, both in Nigeria and beyond, would also get information about unsuspecting citizens from whichever sources that had decided not to protect the privacy of their trusted customers and clients, and then open unsolicited accounts in their names and forward the new account details to their phones, and start expecting them to come and be using the new accounts just like that.
That is not just Fair.
Something needs to be done about this, and it must be done quickly.

Lalasticlala pls push this post to the front.
Most of our fellow Nigerians are not aware that GTB and their “Customer Information Suppliers” had entered into big trouble with them by virtue of sharing information about them without their prior notice...

I went to the bank after-all..
And I met with their customer care too..
And yes, they accepted that they opened the account for me in my name, and that they intended it to be my account, and for me to use it as my account.
But then, they couldn't explain to me how they got my phone number and my name. They also couldn't explain to me why they opened the account, and what purpose the account should serve to me.
All they were just busy doing was,, trying to preach to me so that I can accept the account.. That's All

And this part too:
“....As well as list of Polling Units where re-run elections were held in respect of National Assembly that originally held together with the presidential poll on February 23, and Form EC8D, which is the summary of results from State and Collation at the National Level, used in the presidential poll....”
These are the only parts that got my attention in the whole nonsense above..
Did INEC just said that there was no National Assembly re-run election any where in Nigeria?? Or were they referring to Zamfara State alone?

PoliticsRe: Court To Decide Certificate Case Against Buhari Today by tk4rd: 5:23pm On Jul 12, 2019
TheTrueSeeker2:
The court had held that date for its judgment would be communicated to parties.

The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal is to deliver judgment a suit challenging the qualification of President Muhammadu Buhari to contest the 2019 Presidential Election.

A three-member panel of the court presided over by Justice Atinuke Akomolafe-Wilson had on Monday reserved judgment in the suit after listening to the argument canvassed by counsel to parties in the matter.

The court had held that date for its judgment would be communicated to parties.

But as the 60-day time frame provided by the law for the hearing of the matter expires July 12, the court communicated to parties of its readiness to deliver its judgment.

Kalu Kalu, Labaran Ismail and Hassy El-Kuris had approached the appellate court to nullify and set aside the judgment of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court which declined to hear their suit instituted to challenge the educational qualification of President Buhari before the conduct of the 2019 General Elections.

Among the reliefs sought was a declaration that Buhari submitted false information regarding his qualification and certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for the purpose of contesting the election and thus, he should be disqualified.

They also prayed for an order of the court directing INEC to remove the President’s name as a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and another order restraining him from parading himself as a candidate in the presidential election, as well as APC from recognising Buhari as a candidate.

At the last sitting, counsel to the appellant, Ukpai Ukairo, insisted that President Buhari was not educationally qualified to have stood for the presidential poll on the grounds that the required certificates were not attached to his form CF001, submitted to INEC for clearance to contest the presidential poll.

He denied the claim that the suit of the appellants was statute barred, adding that the case was instituted on November 5, 2018, within the 14 days allowed by law.

Ukairo said the cause of action started with the announcement and publication by INEC of successful candidates for the 2019 General Elections on October 25, 2018.

He, therefore, urged the court of appeal to allow the appeal and set aside the decision of the Federal High Court on grounds of miscarriage of justice.

The lawyer asked the court to nullify Buhari’s participation in the February 23 Presidential Election because he was not educational qualified for the poll at the time he did.

However, lawyers to the first and second respondents, the President and the All Progressive Congress (APC), urged the court to dismiss the appeal for being incompetent and lacking merit.

Counsel to the President, Mr Abdullahi Abubakar, specifically told the appeal court that the case of the appellant was statute barred having not been filed within the mandatory period stipulated by the law.

He urged the court to uphold the decision of the Federal High Court to the effect that the suit was not filed in line with the position of the law.

Counsel to the APC, Mr Babatunde Ogala, aligned himself with the President’s submission and urged the court to dismiss the appeal, while counsel to INEC, Onyeri Anthony, said the commission was neutral and would abide by the decision of the court.

The appellants, in their appeal, asked the court to reverse the judgment of Justice Ahmed Mohammed on the grounds that the processes filed by President Buhari and used to strike out their suit were not competent.

They claimed that the Federal High Court erred in law and in its decision because they did not challenge the primary election that produced the President as the candidate of the APC.

When this dad is so scared.
I became scared too.
It really wasn't easy.
The pushing became intense, and the baby wasn't coming.
One of the midwives (the fattest of the three ladies in the room) had to climb on her tommy and was pressing her tommy. My eyes nearly tore to pieces from the gory sight, with all colours of blood pouring out from the opening, and her shouts and cries piercing my heart.
I couldn't bear it any longer.
I allowed her hand which I was holding at that time to drop off my grip (but I continued with my prayers, but this time, silently in my heart), and I shifted back so as to allow the ladies do their thing (which was too rough for my sight, yet I stayed there and watched), but then, I allowed tears to cloud off my vision of the sight a bit.
Amidst my blurry teary vision, I heard my wife's calm normal voice again (no more piercing shouts or cries) “Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus", and then a baby cry.
With great joy, I wiped my tears immediately, and smiles came back to me.
I checked time... 3:27am.. Went over, touched the little baby, then waited for them to clean baby up, I carried her and waited while they cleaned up my wife.
That was on 24th January 2019.
Celebrated my wife's birthday on the 23rd (Just the evening before the night)

Its your right to believe what you wish.

I have given you the facts. Its a natural reaction for people to try to validate their failures by labeling something a scam.

But the fact that they failed at it doesn't make it a scam, it just makes them sore losers.
I saw this, and I decided to share it here..
Question: What if you decide to Drop out half way through the Table?
....
Answer: You are given 14 days to cancel your order for Main Tables, and 3 days for preliminary Tables, if you wish to back out from the Bonus Marketing Program.
But, what if you have passed the grace period for cancellation? What happens to your initial investment?
It will be stuck in the table until you have closed it.
What it simply means is that you have to close the table no matter what.
It could be a blessing in disguise, because everyone above you in the Level 1 and 2 will try their best to put new recruits under you, so that they can close their table, and you could just take it for a ride.
But, if no one is actively recruiting, your position on the Table will always be there, and you would be stuck there for a very long time.
