i am a christian wu bliv in d bible. I hav bin on religon section of nairaland for some time naw and hav noticd dat each time a refrence is made from d bible, some group just ignore it as a fairy tale made by men but view science as almighty.

D aim of dis thread is to understand y dis hapens,exposing certain scientific eror and inconsistency with a view of correcting the wrong idea .

Uncanny Genius: Why I said that is because an acquaintance of mine wanted to marry a Catholic lady, her parents refused just because he's an Anglican. Luk at d gravitational law,it remains constant. The earth rotates in 24 hrs. The speed of light is always constant whether in earth or galaxy. Why doesnt it reverse?why does the universe obey such rules.

earth is located at right distance from the sun. If d earth were a bit away from the sun, we wil freeze, if it were closer, we wil burn.

Xtianity isnt blind faith. It is child faith. We trust God our heavenly father.
We also hav logical faith. We see a creation and belive there is a creator

Secondly, i hav no problem with your belief or what you think is right. My grieviances is sequel to your reasoning that those of us who believe in heaven are clowns and ignorant.

i dont know what part of U SA you stay. USA has over 50 percent of its indigenes as christians and the majority of the rest as God belivers who belive in afterlife either in heaven or on earth.. Les than ten percent of americans are atheist.

Until his conversion,mac daddy, aka logic boy had questioned the bible and referd to it as a fairly tale written by human beings.he also calld pastors and bishop tithe and offering collectors. He doubted Gods existence and that of his son Jesus christ.he belived the world was creatd by an sudden xplosion called BIG BAaNG and that human evolves from apes.
