What kind of useless question is this? Somebody made an intelligent submission and this is the nonsense you ask him? Just because you want to defend a thieving politician with an empty stomach? Have mercy on yourself Mr man!

I tire.

Some of these children think it is easy to prove an allegation against someone beyond all reasonable doubt. It is a herculean task.

An average lawyer would question the petitioner as follows:

Lawyer: You saw bullion vans driving into the respondent's house on February 22nd 2019 at 1700 hours?
Petitioner/Witness (with an air of pride that the questions would be easy): Yes!
Lawyer: Can you tell the honourable court the contents of the vans?
Petitioner/Witness: Money!
Lawyer: Can you give the court an estimate of how much money was there?
Petitioner/Witness: I don't know.
Lawyer: Fair enough. Did you see money loaded into the vans and offloaded from the vans, and if so, can you tell us the originating bank where the money emanated from?
Petitioner/Witness: That is for the EFCC to investigate....
Lawyer (cuts in sharply): ... but you made the allegation. How can you make an allegation without solid evidence? We are not aware that a bank was robbed, we are also not aware that the contents of the vans was indeed money. It could as well have been food to feed the people in his house. We can as well ask the company whose bullion vans were used to transport whatever, but what if the vans drove in empty to pick up money to take to the polling centres? Have you considered that? I think it is not enough to submit a petition accusing someone of something without in the least a pictorial evidence of the contents of the van. (Turns to the judge) I think the petitioner is looking for cheap fame and made a naive attempt to smear the image of the respondent. I pray to the honourable court that, as a deterrent to the petitioner and people like him, the petitioner pays the cost of this court sitting and aggravated damages of 1 billion naira or a jail term of 5 years in lieu of the fine.
Petitioner/Witness (in his mind): who will save me now? I have a wife and dependants, who would take care of them? Why I no just leave this matter alone when I know say I no get proof?

Bottomline: It is not enough to accuse, proof is the meat.
So you think if the EFCC wants to investigate the event they won't get to the root of it? You think through investigation, the EFCC cannot know the amount of money in the bullion van and the bank that owns it? Tinubu should thank his stars that we are in a govt that habours corrupt members of its party, if not, he will be in hot soup. The case is not a difficult case to prove at all.

From the very beginning, I knew something went wrong. No sane justice of the supreme court will accede to political pressure to upturn an electoral victory of an opposition party in zone such as South East; bearing in mind of the many recent events in the zone.

But the perception that judiciary as presently constituted is Buhari's puppet makes some Nigerians, especially PDPs, think Tanko-led Judiciary has compromised.
And no sane justice of a Supreme court will award votes that extremely higher than the number of accredited voters. How do you reconcile the fact the new numbers added to the winner is about 100k bigger than the number of accredited voters?

Hello Tobias,

You should try to calaculate your CRS score to know if you are qualified to enter the pool. The current score is 475. As long as the work experience was on full time basis and in related field of study, you can try your luck. What is likely to boost your score outside scoring high in IELTS would be having a sibling in Canada whom you share same parent with, you academic qualifications, number of work experience etc. However, just follow your heart. If you prefer migrating through the study route, then go for a program/course that can enable you demonstrate progression or self-development.

For more information, check with IRCC website or visit the EE thread.

All the best.
Thanks so much bro, God bless you!

Hello Tobias,

I believe you are a big fan of OZ, based on your moniker.

There won't be any issue applying from SK if you have a valid residence permit or legal status. The most important thing you should justify is why going for a second Masters instead of a Ph.D. Also try as much to link your home ties to Nigeria since you have stronger ties to your home country than your current country of residence. Since you have a Master, you can as well give the EE a try

All the best
Yes, I'm a big fan of OZ!
Seriously, bro, PhD in Canada will be very costly, and I'm from a Social Science background and usually, not much scholarship is attracted to it.
About the EE, please, I thought it is for people who are currently employed? My last employment was in 2015. I have two master's degrees, so what are my chances?

You seem to have a good thing going in a lot of ways;
1. You have travel history and apparently no record of breaking any immigration law
2. You have a very very active sponsor that as a history of sponsoring you so you just need to get the proof of this in addition to what you have.
3. I'll advice you gotl for a PhD program or restrain from declaring your msc so you can apply for a msc program if you apply for another msc program you might have issues with "purpose or visit with the VO not understanding why you need to come over to Canada"
4. If you try the study route you can apply for your family via open work permit and all.

You have a very very active sponsor that as a history of sponsoring you so you just need to get the proof of this in addition to what you have.
That is the problem, I don't have any evidence of her sponsorship, she transferred the money to me while I was still in Nigeria. The money covered my first-semester tuition and other small expenses, but the subsequent semester was bankrolled by me.

Hello, good people, please I need your advice. I'm currently residing in South Korea where I did my master's programme, but I want to relocate to Canada to do another master's programme. When I got admission in South Korea, my eldest sister paid for my first-semester tuition fee, but I subsequently paid the remaining ones through hustling while studying. Now I have completed my studies but I don't intend coming back home now. I'm currently on a job-seeking visa, so I want to know if I can apply from here without any problem? My eldest sister wants to act as my sponsor again and she has a very good account with steady cash flow and I also have saved some money here. She is ready to transfer the money needed to my account here and also send her Nigerian statement of account, house document, payslip, proof of family relationship and other relevant documents over to me. So, I'm wondering if my application will be affected as a result of my continuous stay in Korea without returning home? I have also travelled to Japan and other countries while here. Please, what is my chance of getting the visa?
NB: I'm also married and my wife just visited me here but she will go back to Nigeria later.
Thanks

These are your comments and you have the audacity to accuse the Igbos of hatred? You're full of hatred and contempt for the Igbos. just accept it and stop pretending you like them because your outbursts clearly show who you are. See who sounds vile ....

I sprinkle 1st Corinthians 13 on you every hour of your life. It will drain the vile and bile of you with time.

Your type, I met on Nairaland.

Nursing grudges , looking for anything that tells the truth as it is and getting worked up with hatred. And bile.

MASSOB and IPOB running numbers on your psyche for selfish reasons that you are too blind to see.

Hating Tinubu for no reason ??
Tinubu wants to do stuffs and not one fact to back it up. And yet you choose to believe it.

We are lucky we don't sue people for libel in this country .

MASSOB AND IPOB leading innocent naive youths to their death for selfish reasons and you the enlightened ones aren't warning yourselves to be wary of divisive tactics .

Young man , you will find hate when that's what fills your heart.

O, I send wisdom.into your life. Maturity too.

Wherever you are, the hate you have towards any Yoruba or any tribe will turn to beautiful love , friendship and camaraderie .

No one is without shortcoming. But when you focus on other people's negatives, you will only fuel hatred which can kill.

You also need to be less insultive too. I sprinkle that one on you too in the name of the Father ,Son and the Holy Ghost .

[/s]
Like I said you're a bloody little hypocrite! Remove the log of wood in your hate-filled eyes before you attempt to remove the one in others. I'm tired of you and your people always demonizing the Igbos and accusing the them of being the only cause of the problem. You want through all the comments and the only thing you can see is the hate and insults from Igbos but you never saw the ones from your people. Of course they are saints and are always filled with love and affection towards the Igbos.
For you to insinuate that Ipob and massob speak for the generality of Igbos shows how myopic you're. Stop acting as if your parents are saints, they also teach you people on how to hate the Igbos from childhood hence the morbid hatred and jealousy you guys always have for the Igbos. Like I said run along, and while you're at that, try and tone that on your hypocrisy.

Matured minds will ask them where they got their facts from before believing it or acting on it.

Why are they doing this

Is it the right thing to do?

It's high time you ask yourself what legaacy Ibo leaders are leaving for their youths apart from being hated by all.

You cant always be on edge with your hosts ke?

I have many Ibo friends that we don't relate with this ethnic bias I see on Nairaland . That's how we should relate .
