Nostradamus1: You might as well say protesters killed themselves and planted this. You can also fail to consider the name of the officer because it is against your agenda.
See bro, If you are happy about the shooting and you enjoyed it maybe the sounds of gunshot gave you a hard on , say it. Nobody will beat you. Don't hid your fascination because of people on a faceless forum After seeing sss, directing thugs in abuja, I'm not overlooking them doing the same thing in lagos....abuja and lekki protest grounds are the strongest in Nigeria. Do you even know doing things like this is part of sss job? |

One thing i know, any armed person that shot into the crowd, would have nightmares for a l9ng time and question his actions, as long as he is mentally sound.
Long time a go, pipeline vandals were doing their thing, and a certain officer was sent with men, to the location, the officer ordered the men to aim and fire, all but one of the men missed, when reality hit this certain person, he developed mental issues. |

SamuelAnyawu: But do we have rubber bullets in Nigeria? This Lekki dudes were not looting shops. Rubber bullets, tear gas or water should have been used. I'm privy to some information and some where online, if this protesters were realistic, with a sound minded leader, they would have withdrawn from the street, 2 or 3 days ago, this magic the government played wouldn't be able to stick on them, and come back in bigger force in 3 weeks. I could already predict the outcome of the protest, within the first week. |

giles14: being tactical don't win you wars and battles but being strategic.
And the protest movement lacked strategic thinkers from the on set. I see you like commenting , but you don't really understand English |

This issue pains me, but the protesters aren't tactful, they had the government by the balls, the signs were glaring, but they weren't tactful..
If only they had one tactically sound leader, they would have danced around the government, and not play into the jaws. |

remi1444: Is there any rule of engagement that prohibits Armed soldiers from shooting a threat like a protester holding the Nigerian flag? Lol, depends on the scenario ooo, if bht holds the flag, i will double tap him, if it protesters and i know there's no stampede scare, i will gas them, not into the crowd, just some meters as a warning, if the crowd is much and none violent, i will handover my firearm, keep my knife in a ready to reach position and use a public address system to address them and appeal, even beg them... if this doesn't work, tear gas, and full magazine into the air. |

bidexiii: You're missing a lot !
SWAT has been already in existence before now, they are to be replace the useless SARS or FSARS we have. Trust me this guys are professional and not miscreants like the SARs, only that there unit outfit is not enough, just like the police IRS those guys are doing a nice job, years back some IRS officers helped me with my flat tires I'm the middle of night in Abuja and I was so much surprised. My only fear is that they wouldn't turn bad like the SARS in few years time. True, a lot of these SWAT guys trained with the AFSF in Belarus, the police PRO is doing a terrible job, he is meant to have gone to a couple of tv stations on a call in programme to sensitize and appeal to the public, so there's a feel of togetherness, and the biggest way to calm this protests is for SARS heads to roll, people want to see public prosecutions and them been dismissed and charged to court, why this isn't happening is part of the fan, making this amber glow. Personally i think the police force cannot because the money from this sars gets up to even the ig, any public trial would see then indicted. |

komekn: I find it incomprehensible as well as almost treacherous. Yet quite a few were giving me dogs abuse about my deductions.
That we spent $600 million on 12 turboprop aircraft of which it's taking 3/4 years to get the first one delivered.
We could have bought with $50 million 40 Chinese Wing Loong II UAV's in the HERE and NOW.
Bought refurbished used and upgraded SU25 with a few more heavy lift MI 8 helicopters.
Then used the rest to buy at least 2000 multiliple armoured vehicle platforms, MRAP'S, IFV'S, MBT's, APC's, LAV'S, etc. Some refurnished used and some new.
It's stark staringly obvious we HAVE LOST CONTROL of the NE.
If we had done that imagine the lives of our combatants that would have been saved.
Our house is on fire we need action now not tomorrow. Correct me if I'm wrong: but I think it's late uncle Abacha that's paying for the super tucano, Uncle Sam wouldn't have returned late uncle's Abacha's money so easily, so Father Nigeria bought weapons, which is a win win for almost everybody. And the amount isn't definitely 600 millions dollars, and it comes with lots of advance weapons systems and upgrade in capability, in good numbers and spare parts, and so on. The sweetest thing I like about the tucano is that it's a turbo prop engine, which is best for what it's designed to do, loiter around the battle view, like and isr, gather intelligence and strike with more precision from standoff ranges. I hope you know most of our air strikes are wasted ammunition, with the super tucano, you have more precision and higher death toll on BHT. The one thing I don't like about the super tucano deal, is the time frame to deliver. Every other thing is very much okay,. From my own point of view and limited knowledge. |

or is there another thing called frigate Say smoke!!! Before it was main battle tanks they were about to start building, they would love to grow into something is different, from they have the capability to start building. Proforce should quit throwing smoke about, though I love the company. |

Odunayaw: The DSS matter just reminds me of those early years where everyone eats from the same plate. The senior mouths are scooping the hot food in at faster rate while we the younger ones are either running looking for mama only to come back to meet empty plates or throwing hiss fits
Till tomorrow I'd keep saying it, southern politicians are in bed with these idiots. I think saying southern leaders are in bed with the ruling northern elite, is a lie. Evidenced by the smoke oshiomole and tinubu threw in Edo election. South politicians have been sucked like oranges and discarded because of personal greed. Have you watched NTA of recent? You will know we as a nation are under the command and control of the north, via the sensitive positions they hold in this country. Well grumbling is allowed, let's keep grumbling till the next election. |

LTGEN: WTF are you talking about Just last month in the span of a week 11 Marines died in a training accident aboard an amphibious vehicle training under extremely dangerous conditions. Did you see their mates come and complain on social media ? A Marine will train under the most demanding and demeaning conditions. He won’t go awol and he definitely wouldn’t compare himself to a US Policeman. That would be considered a bloody insult. A US Officer training is more demanding and more demeaning some of it is not fit your nice Social Media. Female Officers are also told they can be raped. It is voluntary both in the US and Nigeria . Don’t watch TV too much and believe the absolute rubbish you see on TV about US Military training. There haven't heard of S.E.R.E training. |

Because him coming to this group calling a major general a bastard, and bringing a military issue to a forum that can't help him, but even making his issue worse.. It shows he's all emotional and not thinking logically, same way you acting emotionally right now. Bidexxi , I'm not the only one that came for him, why single me out, and I will say it again, he should dash!!!

Redemption1: After the dossier review, 54 cadets were withdrawn, they were withdrawn in just 1 day, that was the highest number in the history of nda, since 1964 nothing like that ever happened, well change they say is the only constant thing in life. We were supposed to go home for 2nd quarter break this April but because of the pandemic they cancelled the break and told us that we were going to go home this October, that's 10 months training without break, well she they stopped teaching us A branch (Academics) and the only thing we were taught was g branch(military) training...
All the whole Academy courses were not happy because they didn't give us break and we heard rumors that polac(police academy) were home because the president ordered all schools to closed... Late April some clowns blew awol and went to town, they decided to sleep in a primary school, it was in the afternoon so they didn't want to return to the Academy, they were just marking time for it to get dark so they slept off, the villagers there thought that they were bandits because they were looking very dirty, in nda to be a clown is like to be with disease because clownship is a disease, so the villagers called jtf and police, the arrested those clowns and asked them who they were, they told them that they were cadets but the villagers didn't believe, they had to call and officer and the officer that came was Mogadishu battalion acting CO, major IH Suileman, one of the most malicious officers in nda, he told the cadets to enter his boot and he started driving, he was about taking them to the Academy..... Brb Cadet if you know what's good for you, you will dash from this group. |
