This girl is like a NEPA switch. She's selfish and doesn't reason with ration. Can you imagine, you will be talking to someone and she will be happy, the next minute you call her, she's her mood has become low and it now looks as if you're forcing her.

I would call her for at least 30 mins trying to cheer her up and I will be met with disdain. If small thing should happen, her mood will just change, no joke can take it out.... The next day, she's still like that.

Sometimes, she'll reply me like I'm her worst enemy. To make it worse, she'll say she has nothing to say after I might have talked and talked.

It sounds like nothing, but this has been going on for a very long time, as if someone is forcing her in the relationship. To make it worse, she'll sometimes act like she's madly in love.

I keep telling her mood is like weather and she should please try and just reduce it. I later stopped calling her like before because, I don't know they what mood I'll meet if I called.

So many times, I'll talk to her for like one hour about the things she's doing that's bad. I keep telling her the same thing for a very long time now, thinking communication is key.

Something happened yesternight, she ended the call. I called her back trying to tease her back into the mood. For like 30 seconds, I was doing hello, hello, I almost thought it was the network when I was about hanging up she said she can hear me.... Okay, fine. She later then told me there's nothing to say again... Damn, she keeps saying this many times and it has started to make my head spark.

I was angry all through yesterday for personal reasons, but people can never know because I don't show it and I talk normally. Despite my state yesterday, I kept my cool after she said there's nothing to say and just told her good night but I was angry deep down.

I called her this morning (yesterday morning, it's 1:16AM currently), she didn't pick. But I didn't call a second time, because my head was just ringing 'I have nothing to say.' I don't want to be a fool again to call her and I'll be taking to empty space. So I lefty phone in my room and stayed in the sitting room all day and she already left 2 missed later.

I came back this night, called her severally and it was just doing busy. I messaged her online (luckily she was online) about the matter and immediately I tried again and it went through. Thinking now, it may be that she blocked me.

Anyways in short, she was mute at first again when she picked. Later the matter escalated and she was saying that I didn't call back. I was trying to explain why I didn't call but she was not listening... I later waited till she calmed down.

I was telling her I didn't call because I didn't want embarrassment whereby I'll be talking to her and she'll just be mute as if I'm talking to the wind. I told her I knew not calling her was wrong but she didn't listen, I told her this about 4 times.

As she was later calm, I saw it as an opportunity to explain to her that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I was telling her that I don't do 1/3 of what she does and I don't often turn things against her. In the beginning of the relationship, she used to be unhappy and complain a lot when the chance comes of how I don't listen or pay attention to her I'm summary.

Now, she's got attention and she acts so bad sometimes that I wonder if any man will actually stand that. She's done so many terrible things that I cannot even mention it here but I am a forgiving type.

So, this night will I was later telling her everything about herself again that is not good for us, I talked for over 1 hour and I actually thought maybe for the first time I was really getting to her. I was even happy that maybe she'll realize that she herself cannot stand what she does to me if it's done back to her in return. I also told her that I should have called her earlier in the day.

You won't believe this girl made me realize I was wasting my saliva and she just kept quiet on purpose, and that the only thing I was doing was turning the matter on her head, and that she was going to sleep. I couldn't believe my life at first, it really pained me deeply. She was even even telling me how I can keep on blabbing if I want. I told her to get out of my phone and I hung up. I didn't even know I could become so angry and hang up a phone on someone, it just happened spontaneously. Immediately, she blocked me on WhatsApp... She had even been saying it during the course of her ranting that she'll block me.

She used to say, she's stubborn and stuff. The funny thing is she'd say that's the way she is and I should accept her that way.

Like, she can't take what she's doing to me if it's served back to her. And how she doesn't even feel guilty of what she does is what baffles me.

Very selfish human being. Another annoying thing is her Motigbo and Ok when she's chatting. This girl will say anything she likes (not that she uses insultive words tho) and I'll just keep my cool and let it slide, I will even call her the next day.

Damn... I didn't know I can be this patient in my life. Although, I guess the reason I stayed this long in it is because she's a really good person who I believe if she can just eliminate that aspect of her, she'd be very okay.
Nah ibadan girl?

From my observation, marriage is likely to go extinct soon. I think the practice of feminism is making almost all the ladies of this generation think men are too harsh on them. A quite percentage of them are just too lazy. Thanks to the new-generation-mothers

As if your case is not enough,,,

A wedding slated to hold on Dec.19 is dissolved this week because the lady began to behave weirdly, claimed she has no interest again,,, giving flimsy excuses. We got to know that she just met a rich man (married) who promised to get her a befitting apartment if she could get pregnant for him. Some issues came up & her friend had to divulge all the secrets in retaliation for her betrayal, too. While the groom-to-be still finds it so hard to believe/sleep, she is busy littering her WhatsApp stats with the caption ***we move***.

OP, I hope you get over it ASAP. I'm used to saying one thing; I definitely can't be sad over someone that's happy somewhere. Do you really think she's worth sacrificing your happinesshuh

Life goes on
I remember a certain relationship i had, and the girl was pestering me for marriage, i told her im my culture, it's the woman's family that spends more during the ceremony, to make a statement to the grooms family, so she would be respected, i told her i have 2 sisters, and we spent a lot, everybody contributed.....madam was shocked, in her mind, i would be the one to bankroll the whole event, if these ladies and their families are made to invest in the relationship and the marriage , she wouldn't think of misbehaving.
A lot of guys put money first when it comes to women issues, the problem is that there is always someone that has more money than you, and let the girl be the one asking for marriage, don't be the, desperate one.

It's not the girl.

I still have my exes begging me for forgiveness for being àssholes. That's cuz to them I've upgraded. Talking about they want me back and all that BS.
In my own case it's the girls, they all always come back, thinking I'm head over heels and try to woo me, like they didn't initially leave.
One was cheating , i let her go....she got married, after years, wanted to start blaming me for the decision she made.

Why not talk to her about it?

Exes are demons tbh, when the going is tough, you won't see them, but when you've moved on with your life, they'll crawl out from different holes to disrupt person's life.

I'll go with the guys on this one, but first talk to her, if it persists, please go your way, for the sake of your mental health.
Lol, my engaged ex of 2 years would not stop telling me she wants to Bleep me, my married ex of almost 5 years, still tells me I'm the best and wants to go on vacation with me.
The ex is not evil,it is the girl that is evil, and probably the guy used money to woo her, but you need money and other qualities to keep a woman.

He should free her for 3 weeks no contact and see what her reaction would be.

I just watched a video of Nigeria 'swat' officers practicing how to breach through. If they do it the way I just watched in reality, they'll likely all get themselves killed.
I have actually seen real life, an armed robbery of like 4 banks, i even had the video....my opinion about Nigerian police is that, their training isn't in anyway realistic.
The modules, dont handle real life scenarios, and they seem contended with rubbish, truthfully, the Nigerian police, is the biggest entity right now, that can tear Nigeria apart.

Let me try this in simple terms:

Kabe: we haven't received 6 choppers because of sanctions against Russia

Me: But Nigeria and other countries have received Russian equipment since sanctions, so there must be another reason

Kabe: But the ambassador said it's sanctions

Me: Do the sanctions not apply to the other materiel received by Nigeria and others?
A couple of countries called the bluff with the USA weapons sanctions on Russia, one of such countries is India, they got weapons from Russia and are also due to get the most advanced version of f16( f21), it's just politics, when you are big, you are big and when there is a couple of billion dollars at stake, the USA would look the other way, because they don't want that money going to Russia.
I think, the Nigerian government is waiting for the USA government to fulfill it's pending orders, to avoid stories that touch, them get the mi35m delivered.

Lol an average Nigerian Military personnel sees himself as a brute that can Lord himself over others.

Well here in the Northeast Borno state ISWAP has changed Nigerian Army psychology cool
Less than average, some, not all military personnel behave like this, same way, if some civilians are given the chance would act this same way.
Even within the military there are personnel tagged sadist, same way in the civilian life, there are also sadist.
One thing people don't know, military men are scared of buying useless job and it's very easy to buy job, because they don't know who people are, just speak to them with confidence, and not rudely , and let them assume you know someone higher than them, they would most likely respect themselves.
Of recent i drove into an army barrack, at the gate, the personnel at the gate saw me and started smiling, i was dressed in a long sleeve and pant trousers, looking like a banker....he asked me where i was going to, i told him i was going to a certain location to see an officer on course, and he said, bring something for me on your way back, me, i just flashed him a smile and drove off without answering.
One other mutual friend came to join us, he asked me, if the INT or whatever at the gate, asked me for money, i said yes, i knew going out, he would find that army personnel.
This mutual friend left before me, on my way out much later, i saw the same army personnel, and he approached me, felling entitled, wetin you carry come for me, just my reply of "bah welfare" had him running away, without him knowing who I'm, i called him back, his response was oga sir, don't worry sir, you can go sir, i called him again oga sir sorry sir, without me saying I'm a personnel or civilian.
I have friends i grew up with, that aren't officers, sometimes i meet them at some locations gate,i will want to personally give them something, they would decline, even though i know them personally, and even still sit out to drink with some of them, the reason is the same, the officers on duty, would say that they are collecting bribe, and wouldn't care if i know them personally, they would most likely dash them extra days.
Only those within the system or close to the system, know that military men are actually scared, some act with impunity like these ones in the video, but I'm still dying to understand the madness and village people following this soldiers in that video.

It's a sanctions problem, not a money problem. I will look for that link and post it.
It's a sanction problem with USA and Russia, and a potential backlash that can affect Nigeria, i think after the super tucano are released we would get the remaining mi35

Adelani Adepegba, Abuja

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, has directed senior military personnel to declare their assets in compliance with the code of conduct for public officers.

He stated that personnel entrusted with leadership responsibility must understand the importance of assets declaration and code of conduct.

Declaring open, a two-day workshop on ‘Compliance with Assets Declaration and Code of Conduct for Officers and Soldiers,’ facilitated by Go-Getters Consulting Ltd., in Abuja on Tuesday, the COAS said the Nigerian Army would partner with the Code of Conduct Bureau to ensure public morality and accountability in the conduct of its activities.

Buratai noted that the workshop was important to the Army as it afforded the servicemen the opportunity to fulfil their obligations as public officers in line with the provision of the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).

He said, “The Nigerian Army under my leadership is desirous of maintaining the highest standard of accountability in the conduct of our activities, consistent with the requirements and behaviours of public officers which conform to the highest standard of probity, public morality, transparency and accountability.

“Accordingly, I have directed that the workshop be conducted in the six Army Divisions nationwide. My directive is premised on the belief that every Army personnel entrusted with leadership responsibility must understand the importance of Assets Declaration and Code of Conduct for public officers and comply with all the provisions and requirements.”

The Chairman, CCB, Isa Mohammed, noted that the challenges confronting the nation were the result of indiscipline in public life.

Mohammed, who was represented by Prof Samuel Ogundare, commended the Nigerian Army for organizing the workshop, which he said would afford the participants the opportunity to fully understand the workings of the Code of Conduct Bureau and the need for assets declaration.

In his welcome address, the Chief of Army Standards and Evaluation, Maj. Gen. H. Vintenaba, emphasised that the workshop would help military officers to understand the consequences of non-compliance with the provisions of the CCB on assets declaration.

He said, “This workshop is timely as it would offer officers and soldiers the opportunity to understand fully the requirements for code of conduct and assets declaration as well as consequences for non-compliance.”

The person who ordered the massacre at Lekki is certainly higher than the rank of brigadier General, i.e Major General, lieutenant General, or General that is why he could order colonel S.O Bello who is under Brigadier General Francis omata.

The operation was not officially sanctioned from Abuja that is why Brigadier General Franscis omata who commands all army formations in Lagos was bypassed, probably because brigadier Gen. Francis omata is a southern Christian and Colonel S.O Bello is a Muslim.
That is, it was an illegal operation.

The fact that SARS later showed up to finish the work means that the order was from force head quarters in Abuja, because it is only from force headquarters that you can send order to both army and police at the same time.

This is corroborated by the fact that Reno omokri earlier tweeted on division in the military concerning how to handle to protest with Buratai pushing for a shite massacre type scenario.

What this means is that a group of rogue Generals in Abuja headed by Buratai himself are the ones behind the massacre, they ordered the operation likely without the consent of the Chief of other Service chiefs

The fact that it has been done before to shite protesters means they had the conscent of the president.

Nigerians open your eyes!!
You people would just come online and be posting rubbish, are you certain of what you are writing?

I'm baffled when a force, whose job is to arrest and prosecute, is less inclined to dialogue and jumps straight into engagement, even been civil is seen as engaging them, case in point, this two officers.....mind you, there is a reason even the IGP of police doesn't have a star on his uniform or staff car, it's because his rank isn't up to that of a one star general in the military, a commissioner of police, is equated, to maybe a major in the army.

Seriously the Nigerian police is a disaster to the nation, instead of an asset.

In the timeline of the shooting from a source, i think most times is reliable, it says snipers were spotted, at the same time, admiralty way in lekki, which is less than 2 minutes drive away, had banks attacked and shopping malls looted, this seems so much like the Abuja attacks. Destruction by thugs of public property that can caused maximum outcry, while attacking the protesters, in Abuja we saw men in clean suits directing affairs , in lekki we have a tactically trained unit, running a well coordinated attack.

Too many holes in this army shooting story.
