kabe1: Russia won't allow Armenia lose Nagorno-Karabakh. They have deep historical ties, including with Azerbaijan, but Russia favours Armenia more.
Funny thing is Russia exports weapons to both sides.
The relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan are cultural, they are both Turkic people, so they fact that Turkey is backing Azerbaijan is expected.
Turkey is over-playing it's strength though, taking on everybody in the region, including France, Russia and the US.
Let's see how this progress though.
Armenia is currently giving Azerbaijan a bloody nose, however Azerbaijan would respond. Both militaries are evenly matched, have almost peer weapon systems, in some instances the same performance range, with no clear decisive advantages in most weapons systems, I think leadership , and training would determine the winner. |

Decommissioned 10 years ago.
Magnificent ship. Early 2000s I used to go onboard ship, at NNS olokun,as it was called then, I remember a senior rate, introducing me to the 20 mike mike, on board, and analyzing the trigger, like the accelerator of a bike " and you zoom away" , the trigger looks almost like a bike handle, I remember the senior rates grumbling and disturbing a junior rate, that they don't like answering them, that it's the subbies they are always answering. |

SamuelAnyawu: The Army needs to improve on how we move our military personnel in soft skinned Toyota Hilux.
I repeat if the Army does not take the war to the hot zones of BH/ISWAP we are in for a long ride.
The Magumeri issue is one I can't even comprehend any longer Seriously, I think the army is in a holding pattern, and gathering equipment and training for the big final push(this is just my reasoning, not a fact), I have tried to gather information no one is talking, even army officers. And I think that big push, would entail taking over lake chad, and maybe incursion into chad |

Issorite Abi one soldier killed an officer the other day. You will see judgment. Then we will compare and contrast.
I mentioned mutiny and coup plot, right? In some cases, if they want to protect the personnel, he would be sent on course, if he has strong Godfathers, the course would be outside the country. |

I'm not satisfied with the sentence. A soldier was tortured to death and the killers only got 10 years jail term? And we read of a soldier who got sentenced to death for just defying orders not quite long ago.
This is not justice.
Military judgements are usually very soft, unless mutiny and coup plots, that even an innocent person , just for hearing or not picking the winning side, can land you with heavy sentences. |

Whyem15: And concerning the rising security challenges in the country, it's high time state and local governments started coordinating and funding local vigilante groups and hunters to destroy emerging criminal organizations while they are still in their infancy. The federal police is severely underfunded and even if they are well funded, they can't cope with the current situation. The military is overstretched and they shouldn't even be concerned with law enforcement. If each local government has its own unit of local law enforcement agents, many of the villages and towns being disturbed in the north would have been able to fight back, at least to some extent. That will go a long way in sabotaging the growth of these organizations. And these local vigilantes and hunters know far more about their environment than any police officer/soldier will ever know. Using vigilante and other local groups just shows the incompetence of the police, and what is the surety that this groups don't become too outlandish and power intoxicated, even the CJTF, in the north would become a disaster, after the crisis ends, what is needed is a radical change of the police, more intelligence work of the DSS, stronger boarder control and immigration control. What is lacking is just the will, nothing else, because if the right thing is done, the police officers won't be making money |

I think the police has become ineffective, because they have become a money maker for the men in the field and their bosses, what crime are the police kidnappings and robbing people everyday stopping?. Most of the police are in bed with this criminals, if the police were really policing, most of this major crimes wouldn't have grown out of hand. The police, have developed a mindset of fleecing the masses, and leaving the military to clean up the consequences, one of the most effective ways to make the police more efficient, is to make the officers responsible for the actions of his juniors. In the military I know officers that were retired based on negligence of duty, over what men under their command did. |

But what do you think about NAF's increasingly close relations with the PAF? I think it's a win win for us, and it doesn't put us on unnecessary diplomatic pressure and cost efficient projects, imagine our c130s without the PAF and now the operations upgrade without the jf17. |

Or better still, the NAF is acquiring 3 jf-17bs, and 1 jf-17 block II?!! The 702 is photoshopped, that's why it bigger, than the other planes and blurry |

Yes, the chief of air staff, mentioned it, it would be stationed in benin, I was expecting mr on my radar to provide more info on it. The chief kept calling it special mission aircraft, and from the little I gathered, but not verified it was to be based on a cessna cj3, modified for whatever specifically the aircraft was to be used for. I remember the air chief, stating it would be used for the monitoring of our maritime domain |
