When i listened to Peter OBI as he talked about wastage in government and how to cut cost, i can't help but conclude that these pastors are very very self centered and uncaring towards the members of their church. Nigeria is a peculiar country where we need to do things more carefully...even a billion naira is too much for a general overseer to lavish on luxury.

Jesus when on earth was an expression of meekness. He was born in a manger and he rode TRIUMPHANTLY on a donkey but today, the affluence of life and the lust for materialism has engulfed the present day pastors that they readily forget their Number one duty which is tending to the sheep who are likened to their members.

The other question i asked seem to be ignored by many and i repeat; WHERE DO PASTORS GET THE MONEY TO BUY PRIVATE JET?

Look at the rhapsody of reality of c embassy. ..members pay for it and they get printed in pastor Chris printing press...he makes the profit...members pay...they give it out free but it's not really free...

As far as I'm concerned...any general overseer in Nigeria who purchases a private jet is callous and insensitive.

A pastor shouldn't spend $60m (12bn to 18bn naira depending on exchange rate) on luxury transport excluding maintanance fee when there are too many poor people in the church to be helped.

They are same with us...as a believer we have same signs following us but by virtue of their office they don't need a private jet EXPECIALLY IN NIGERIA where most members are in desperate need of one financial succor or the other.

I have had my experience with redeem in 1998 and Christ embassy in 2001 and I can say without any apology that most churches do not care about the members.

I remember when I was serving some years back when I approached my pastor at one redeem branch to lend me 6k to pay back in a month which was very vital to avoid being sent out of my rented apartment but he said no money and I was sent out anyways and I just wonder if my tithing and offering was worth giving to the church but I just gave to obey God.

Today there are many people in the church who need money to start a biz, for treatment and so on but do these pastors really care?

I know a pastor who was a very successful businessman before he was called to serve in Gods vineyard as a pastor...He passed the business to his brother and earns over 15 million a month from his business every month...

He has since then established various other business like pure water industry, bread and many more ,giving cognizance to his church members first concerning employment and all..

if this pastor buys two private jet, who am.I to condemn him?? after all, I see where he makes most of the money..

But when the main source of wealth is from offerings of men, January fruit, retreat fold money, men fellowship and sweats and labour of members in honour of their God which is expected to be used to further evangelism and winning of souls for Christ is now chanelled into buying roll Royce for the pastor,private jet, Dubai wedding for the man of God in a congregation where an average member cannot afford a three square meal, .....something is Wrong somewhere......

The issue of money and how its being spent in the body of christ can not just be treated with a kid glove, i have seen numerous xtians who have left the faith cos of money issue. Believe me God is interested in how the church handles the issue of money.

I cant just wrap my brain around the fact that despite the presence of many Jobless youths in the church and members who lack basic needs of life that a pastor will dim it fit to acquire a private jet that cost millions of dollars not forgetting the millions of naira involved in servicing the jet and paying for the parking space.I have come to conclude that pastors who own private jets in Nigeria are materialistic,worldly,callous and highly insensitive to the plights of the members and a total embarrassment to the Christendom.

IF I WERE GOD, NO NIGERIAN PASTOR WHO PURCHASED A JET WILL MAKE IT TO HEAVEN because the primary duty of the church is to fend for the members spiritually and physically with the resources of the church but today we see little or nothing being done to help the church members in need yet many Pastors living large at the expense of the church members which has turned many churches to Business centers rather than worship centers.Isaiah 56:11 They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. I use make up, not the heavy/ very expensive ones though(can't find myself buying a 10k powder,my 2500classic is enough ) coz I believe it makes me look classy and radiant too, especially when I'm going out for my daily activities, I learnt to do my brows because it's the new fashion and I have to go with the trend(I will be a grandma someday, I need something to gist my grandkids about the fashion of now)
So I don't use makeup because I'm ugly, Cox I'm not or to impress the men(most of them don't even know the different types of makeups) , omotola jalade ain't ugly, she sure use make too.
